    Ekološko-morfološka diferencijacija populacija vrste Fragaria Vesca L. na području Tuzle i okoline

    On ecologically different habitats we collected 30 individuals from each population of the species Fragaria vesca. Morphological variability was observed on the basis of 10 populations and 300 individuals. All specimens were neatly stored in herbarium. Live materials of the selected species of the genus Fragaria (Fragaria vesca) were investigated in order to determine the most variable and most consistent morphological character, depending on environmental factors under which it has developed. The results show a high degree of variability of morphometric characters for parameters: total length of plants with flowers, floral handle length and petiole length of leaf rosettes.Na ekološki različitim staništima prikupljeno je po 30 individua iz populacije vrste Fragaria vesca. Morfološka vaijabilnost je sagledana na osnovu 10 lokacija i 300 jedinki. Sve jedinke su uredno pohranjene u herbarijumu. Živi materijali odabranih vrsta roda Fragaria (Fragaria vesca) su istraženi s ciljem da se odredi najvarijabilniji i najkonzistentniji morfološki karakter, u zavisnosti od ekoloških faktora pod kojima se razvijao. Utvrđen je visok stepen varijabilnosti morfometrijskih karaktera za parametre: totalna dužina biljke sa cvjetovima, dužinu cvjetne drške i dužinu lisne drške lista rozete

    Under the laboratory conditions and with the rolled paper method we investigated the effect of different pH values of water solution (5 and 6) on the seed germination of two varieties of pea (Petit Provensal and American Wonder). The pH value of water solution significantly affected the germination energy, germination and seedling root length. The highest values for the above properties were obtained at pH 5. A statistically significant difference was found between the varieties but also between different pH values of the water solution. The results of this study suggest the importance of variety and soil pH as one of the most important factors in the cultivation of peas.U laboratorijskim uslovima metodom rolanog papira istraživan je uticaj različitih pH vrijednosti vodene otopine (5 i 6) na klijavost sjemena dvije sorte graška (Mali provansalac i Čudo Amerike). PH vrijednost vodene otopine značajno je uticala na energiju klijanja, klijavost i dužinu korijena klijanaca. Najveće vrijednosti za navedena svojstva su dobivene na pH 5. Statistički značajna razlika utvrđena je između sorti ali i između različitih pH vrijednosti vodene otopine. Rezultati ovog istraživanja ukazuju na značaj sorte i pH tla kao jednog od bitnih faktora u uzgoju graška

    Detailed exploration of morphological variability and ecological differentiation of a species, is a prerequisite for a comprehensive understanding of biological potential and evolutionary state in which the analyzed plant is found. Due to the wide distribution and high importance of the species of genus Plantago, in this paper we analyzed their morphological variability. The aim of this work was testing the coefficient of variation of a specific number of properties, and determining the most variable and the most consistent character. The plant material was collected in the period August-September. We sampled 30 individuals from each site, for two species of the genus Plantago (Plantago lanceolata L. and Plantago major L.). Three different characters were tested: the length of inflorescence, the flower stem length and the width of leaf. The obtained results were statistically analyzed, and they indicate a pronounced variability of all examined characters.Detaljno upoznavanje morfološke varijabilnosti i ekološke diferencijacije vrste predstavlja neophodan uslov za cjelovito sagledavanje biološkog potencijala i evolucionog stanja u kome se analizirana biljka nalazi. Zbog široke rasprostranjenosti i velikog značaja vrsta roda Plantago, u ovom radu izvršena je analiza njihove morfološke varijabilnosti. Cilj rada je bio ispitivanje koeficijenta varijabilnosti određenog broja osobina i utvrđivanje najvarijabilnijeg i najkonzistentnijeg karaktera. Biljni materijal je prikupljen u periodu avgust-septembar. Uzorkovano je po 30 jedinki sa svakog lokaliteta za dvije vrste roda Plantago: (Plantago lanceolata L. i Plantago major L.). Ispitana su tri karaktera: dužina cvasti, dužina cvjetne drške i širina lista. Dobijeni rezultati su statistički obrađeni i ukazuju na izraženu varijabilnost svih ispitivanih karaktera

    This paper describes the medicinal plants found in the area of Zvornik Municipality. It describes the anatomical- morphological and systematic characteristics, and the medicinal properties and applications in phytotherapy. On the ecologically diverse habitats, 74 plant species were collected. All individuals are orderly stored in herbarium and determined with the key for determination of plants. With this paper we give a better view on one part of the diversity of plant life in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for everyone who is interested and who wants to deal with herbs, it can be used as guidelines for further study.U radu su opisane pronađene ljekovite biljne vrste na području opštine Zvornik. Opisane su anatomsko-morofološke i sistematske karakteristike te njihova ljekovita svojstava i primjena u fitoterapiji. Na ekološki različitim staništima prikupljeno je 26 biljnih vrsta. Sve jedinke su uredno pohranjene u herbarijumu i determinisane uz pomoć kjučeva za determinaciju biljaka. Ovim radom se daje bolji pregled, jednog dijela diverziteta biljnog svijeta Bosne i Hercegovine, i svako koga zanima i ko se želi baviti ljekovitim biljem, može da mu bude smijernica za dalje proučavanje

    Paulownia Elongata Sy Hu in function of improving the quality of the environment

    Interest in paulownia got its momentum around the world. With its fast-growing nature and large leaf surfaces this species can absorb significant amounts of sulfur dioxide and dust particles. The cities of Tuzla and Lukavac, as most other Bosnian-Herzegovinian towns, have a number of geo-ecological problems, and the most pronounced one is negative anthropopressing on the atmospheric complex and pedospheric cover. This area, especially during the winter period, has a disrupted air quality where the greatest polluters are individual heating places, transport, industry and energy sector. The pedologic cover of the wider area of Tuzla and Lukavac has suffered significant changes and is largely devastated. The processes of destruction of soils lead to complete destruction or formation of a new land with modified characteristics. High rainfall is a major cause of destabilization of slopes, but also is the negative anthropogenic activity in the area. Landslides have caused significant material damages, particularly in the residential structures of slope zones of the mentioned cities and suburban areas. This paper presents the basic biological characteristics of woody species paulownia elongata, and the possibility of planting it in areas that are now unused so to improve the quality of air, as well as on surfaces that are threatened by landslides
