This paper considers the initial boundary problem to the planar compressible magnetohydrodynamic equations with large initial data and vacuum. The global existence and uniqueness of large strong solutions are established when the heat conductivity coefficient Îș(Ξ)\kappa(\theta) satisfies \begin{equation*} C_{1}(1+\theta^q)\leq \kappa(\theta)\leq C_2(1+\theta^q) \end{equation*} for some constants q>0q>0, and C1,C2>0C_1,C_2>0.Comment: 19pages,some typos are correcte

Building practical and efficient intrusion detection systems in computer network is important in industrial areas today and machine learning technique provides a set of effective algorithms to detect network intrusion. To find out appropriate algorithms for building such kinds of systems, it is necessary to evaluate various types of machine learning algorithms based on specific criteria. In this paper, we propose a novel evaluation formula which incorporates 6 indexes into our comprehensive measurement, including precision, recall, root mean square error, training time, sample complexity and practicability, in order to find algorithms which have high detection rate, low training time, need less training samples and are easy to use like constructing, understanding and analyzing models. Detailed evaluation process is designed to get all necessary assessment indicators and 6 kinds of machine learning algorithms are evaluated. Experimental results illustrate that Logistic Regression shows the best overall performance

The super-thick, high-pressure, medium-strong water-rich Luohe Formation aquifer is overlying in the Binchang mining area of Shanxi Province, and the fractures in the overlying rock are developed, it makes the water channel easier to communicate with the aquifer and stope of Luohe Formation, resulting in the increase of water inflow and area in the stope. In order to study the morphological characteristics of water inrush induced by the network of water-conducting channels formed by primary fractures communicating with the aquifer of the thick Luohe Formation under the influence of mining, the solid-flow coupling similar material simulation test was carried out based on the similar simulation physical experiment system of water-sand inrush in overburden rock. The results show that when the working face is advanced to 140 m, the lower strata of the bed separation are broken in advance due to the influence of the primary fractures. The left incomplete bed separation space and the triangular space formed by the right cantilever beam support form the “Z” bed separation space. When the working face is advanced to 160 m, two “Z-type” bed separation spaces are developed in the overlying strata, which are interconnected with the primary fractures and mining-induced fractures to form a water channel network. The form of gushing (leaching) water in the stope changed from ‘ drip-drip and flow-flow-multi-state ’, and the overall gushing (leaching) water volume increased first and then decreased. The water pressure of overlying strata and the advancing distance of the working face show a segmented evolution characteristic of decreasing first and then increasing. The minimum interval and the position of the inflection point of the segmentation increase with the increase of the distance between the monitoring point and the open-off cut. The final water pressure values near the central area of the goaf are greater than the two boundary monitoring points. The analysis results show that the existence of primary fractures promotes the development of water-conducting fracture channel network, accelerates the process of water transport, and induces the formation and development of water gushing (leaching) in the stope. The research results clarify the influence of primary fractures on the distribution characteristics of water conduction channel network and the evolution law of water gushing (leaching) form morphology, and explain the conduction mechanism of thick and high confined aquifer water to stope water inrush

Real-time Monitoring for the Next Core-Collapse Supernova in JUNO

Core-collapse supernova (CCSN) is one of the most energetic astrophysical events in the Universe. The early and prompt detection of neutrinos before (pre-SN) and during the SN burst is a unique opportunity to realize the multi-messenger observation of the CCSN events. In this work, we describe the monitoring concept and present the sensitivity of the system to the pre-SN and SN neutrinos at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), which is a 20 kton liquid scintillator detector under construction in South China. The real-time monitoring system is designed with both the prompt monitors on the electronic board and online monitors at the data acquisition stage, in order to ensure both the alert speed and alert coverage of progenitor stars. By assuming a false alert rate of 1 per year, this monitoring system can be sensitive to the pre-SN neutrinos up to the distance of about 1.6 (0.9) kpc and SN neutrinos up to about 370 (360) kpc for a progenitor mass of 30M⊙M_{\odot} for the case of normal (inverted) mass ordering. The pointing ability of the CCSN is evaluated by using the accumulated event anisotropy of the inverse beta decay interactions from pre-SN or SN neutrinos, which, along with the early alert, can play important roles for the followup multi-messenger observations of the next Galactic or nearby extragalactic CCSN.Comment: 24 pages, 9 figure

Potential of Core-Collapse Supernova Neutrino Detection at JUNO

JUNO is an underground neutrino observatory under construction in Jiangmen, China. It uses 20kton liquid scintillator as target, which enables it to detect supernova burst neutrinos of a large statistics for the next galactic core-collapse supernova (CCSN) and also pre-supernova neutrinos from the nearby CCSN progenitors. All flavors of supernova burst neutrinos can be detected by JUNO via several interaction channels, including inverse beta decay, elastic scattering on electron and proton, interactions on C12 nuclei, etc. This retains the possibility for JUNO to reconstruct the energy spectra of supernova burst neutrinos of all flavors. The real time monitoring systems based on FPGA and DAQ are under development in JUNO, which allow prompt alert and trigger-less data acquisition of CCSN events. The alert performances of both monitoring systems have been thoroughly studied using simulations. Moreover, once a CCSN is tagged, the system can give fast characterizations, such as directionality and light curve

Detection of the Diffuse Supernova Neutrino Background with JUNO

    Get PDF
As an underground multi-purpose neutrino detector with 20 kton liquid scintillator, Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is competitive with and complementary to the water-Cherenkov detectors on the search for the diffuse supernova neutrino background (DSNB). Typical supernova models predict 2-4 events per year within the optimal observation window in the JUNO detector. The dominant background is from the neutral-current (NC) interaction of atmospheric neutrinos with 12C nuclei, which surpasses the DSNB by more than one order of magnitude. We evaluated the systematic uncertainty of NC background from the spread of a variety of data-driven models and further developed a method to determine NC background within 15\% with {\it{in}} {\it{situ}} measurements after ten years of running. Besides, the NC-like backgrounds can be effectively suppressed by the intrinsic pulse-shape discrimination (PSD) capabilities of liquid scintillators. In this talk, I will present in detail the improvements on NC background uncertainty evaluation, PSD discriminator development, and finally, the potential of DSNB sensitivity in JUNO

Predicting the soluble solid content (SSC) of peaches based on visible/near infrared spectroscopy has attracted widespread attention. Due to the anisotropic structure of peach fruit, spectra collected from different orientations and regions of peach fruit will bring variations in the performance of SSC prediction models. In this study, the effects of spectra collection orientations and regions on online SSC prediction models for peaches were investigated. Full transmittance spectra were collected in two orientations: stem-calyx axis vertical (Orientation1) and stem-calyx axis horizontal (Orientation2). A partial least squares (PLS) method was used to evaluate the spectra collected in the two orientations. Then, each peach fruit was divided into three parts. PLS was used to evaluate the corresponding spectra of combinations of these three parts. Finally, effective wavelengths were selected using the successive projections algorithm (SPA) and competitive adaptive reweighted sampling (CARS). Both orientations were ideal for spectra acquisition. Regions without peach pit were ideal for modeling, and the effective wavelengths selected by the SPA led to better performance. The correlation coefficient and root mean square error of validation of the optimal models were 0.90 and 0.65%, respectively, indicating that the optimal model has potential for online prediction of peach SSC

Ulmus szechuanica is a species of Sect.Ulmus and Ser.Nitentes in Ulmaceae, and it is an endangered wild plant in China. The complete chloroplast genome (cp) of U. szechuanica was reported in this study. The result showed that the cp genome was 159,703 bp in length including a large single-copy (LSC) 88,039 bp and a small single-copy (SSC) 19,072 bp, which were separated by two inverted repeats (IRs) of 26,296 bp with the typical quadripartite structure, respectively. The genome encoded 131 genes, including 86 protein-coding genes, 37 tRNA genes, and 8 rRNA genes. The GC content was 35.53%. Chloroplast sequences were used for constructing phylogenetic tree to determine the evolutionary status of U. szechuanica. The maximum-likelihood phylogenetic analysis showed that U. szechuanica displayed a closer kinship to five other Ulmus species. This study provides important information for identification and conservation of species, germplasm resources utilization, and genetic engineering of Ulmus. The cp will provide a reference for future studies on species evolution of Ulmus
