Two-injection scenario for the hard X-ray excess observed in Mrk 421
An interesting result recently reported for Mrk 421 is the detection of a
significant excess at hard X-ray energies, which could provide useful
information for investigating particle acceleration and emission mechanisms in
the relativistic jet. Considering a two-injection scenario, we develop a
self-consistent one-zone leptonic model to understand the origin of the hard
X-ray excess in Mrk 421 during the period of extremely low X-ray and very high
energy (VHE) flux in 2013 January. In the model, two populations of
mono-energetic ultrarelativistic electrons are injected into the emission
region that is a magnetized plasmoid propagating along the blazar jet. We
numerically calculate the emitting electron energy distribution by solving a
kinetic equation that incorporates both shock acceleration and stochastic
acceleration processes. Moreover, we infer analytic expressions relating
electrons acceleration, cooling, escape and injection to the observed spectra
and variability. For the injection luminosity in particular, we derive a new
approximate analytical expression for the case of continual injection with a
mono-energetic distribution. Based on a comparison between the theoretical
predictions and the observed SED, we conclude that the hard X-ray excess
observed in Mrk 421 may be due to the synchrotron radiation emitted by an
additional electrons population, which is co-spatial with an electron
population producing simultaneous Optical/UV, soft X-ray, and -ray
emissions. The stochastic acceleration may play a major role in producing the
observed X-ray spectrum.Comment: 12 pages, 4 figures, 2 tables, Accepted for publication in Ap
强迫症心理治疗案例报告1例
A 13-year-olds OCD visitor had dynamic psychotherapy 30 times, since the child does not fit the traditional technique of free association, during which supplemented Sandplay game, for accommodating hold and developing empathy, and achieved good results. 对13岁患者强迫症来访者进行30次的动力性分析心理治疗,由于该患者不配合自由联想等传统技术,其间辅以箱庭游戏,用于容纳抱持,发展移情,取得了良好疗效
Finite element analysis of porously punched prosthetic short stem virtually designed for simulative uncemented hip arthroplasty
Background:
There is no universal hip implant suitably fills all femoral types, whether prostheses of porous short-stem suitable for Hip Arthroplasty is to be measured scientifically.
Methods:
Ten specimens of femurs scanned by CT were input onto Mimics to rebuild 3D models; their *stl format dataset were imported into Geomagic-Studio for simulative osteotomy; the generated *.igs dataset were interacted by UG to fit solid models; the prosthesis were obtained by the same way from patients, and bored by punching bears designed by Pro-E virtually; cements between femora and prosthesis were extracted by deleting prosthesis; in HyperMesh, all compartments were assembled onto four artificial joint style as: (a) cemented long-stem prosthesis; (b) porous long-stem prosthesis; (c) cemented short-stem prosthesis; (d) porous short-stem prosthesis. Then, these numerical models of Finite Element Analysis were exported to AnSys for numerical solution.
Results:
Observed whatever from femur or prosthesis or combinational femora-prostheses, “Kruskal-Wallis” value p > 0.05 demonstrates that displacement of (d) ≈ (a) ≈ (b) ≈ (c) shows nothing different significantly by comparison with 600 N load. If stresses are tested upon prosthesis, (d) ≈ (a) ≈ (b) ≈ (c) is also displayed; if upon femora, (d) ≈ (a) ≈ (b) < (c) is suggested; if upon integral joint, (d) ≈ (a) < (b) < (c) is presented.
Conclusions:
Mechanically, these four sorts of artificial joint replacement are stabilized in quantity. Cemented short-stem prostheses present the biggest stress, while porous short-stem & cemented long-stem designs are equivalently better than porous long-stem prostheses and alternatives for femoral-head replacement. The preferred design of those two depends on clinical conditions. The cemented long-stem is favorable for inactive elders with osteoporosis, and porously punched cementless short-stem design is suitable for patients with osteoporosis, while the porously punched cementless short-stem is favorable for those with a cement allergy. Clinically, the strength of this study is to enable preoperative strategy to provide acute correction and decrease procedure time
Automatic Article Commenting: the Task and Dataset
Comments of online articles provide extended views and improve user
engagement. Automatically making comments thus become a valuable functionality
for online forums, intelligent chatbots, etc. This paper proposes the new task
of automatic article commenting, and introduces a large-scale Chinese dataset
with millions of real comments and a human-annotated subset characterizing the
comments' varying quality. Incorporating the human bias of comment quality, we
further develop automatic metrics that generalize a broad set of popular
reference-based metrics and exhibit greatly improved correlations with human
evaluations.Comment: ACL2018; with supplements; Dataset link available in the pape
The Different Effects of Social Capital on Corporate Performance in China: An Empesirical Analysis
This article examines the effect of social capital on corporate performance. The empirical data is composed of 101 listing companies in the People's Republic of China. We found that corporate social capital has significant effects on its market performance. However, there is no evidence shows that social capital has significant impacts on corporate financial performance. We also found that the impact of social capital on market performance of non-SOEs is stronger than that of SOEs. Key words: Social capital, corporate performance, listing company, China.
