    Triazoles are an important class of nitrogen containing heterocycles, because many of them exhibit interesting biological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antifungal, anticancer,anti-TB, analgesic and hypoglycemic. Sulfur-linked 1,2,4-triazoles represent an important group in lead compound discovery. Many bioactive sulfur-linked 1,2,4-triazole have been reported, such as antibacterial activity, antitumor activity, anti-HIV activity, anti-TMV (tobacco mosaic virus) activity, and so on.
