Super B Factories
Heavy-flavor physics, in particular B and τ physics results from the B factories, currently provides strong constraints on models of physics beyond the Standard Model. A new generation of colliders, Super B Factories, with 50 to 100 times the luminosity of existing colliders, can, in a dialog with LHC and ILC, provide unique clarification of new physics phenomena seen at those machines

A Test of CPT Symmetry in K^0 vs \bar{K}^0 to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0 Decays
I show that the CP-violating asymmetry in K^0 vs \bar{K}^0 \to
\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0 decays differs from that in K_L \to \pi^+\pi^-, K_L \to
\pi^0\pi^0 or the semileptonic K_L transitions, if there exists CPT violation
in K^0-\bar{K}^0 mixing. A delicate measurement of this difference at a super
flavor factory (e.g., the \phi factory) will provide us with a robust test of
CPT symmetry in the neutral kaon system.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figure. To appear in the Proceedings of the International

Measurement of the Branching Fractions for D^0 → π^-e^+v_e and D^0 → + K^-e^+V_e and Determination of │V_(cd)/V_(cs)│^2
Measurements of the exclusive branching fractions B(D^0→π^-e^+ν_e) and B(D^0→K^-e^+ν_e), using data collected at the ψ(3770) with the Mark III detector at the SLAC e^+e^- storage ring SPEAR, are used to determine the ratio of the Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements │V_(cd)/V_(cs)│^2 =0.057_(-0.015)^(+0.038)±0.005
Search for the decay D^0→K^0e^+e^-
A search for the decay of the charmed meson D^0→K^0e^+e^- is presented, based on data collected at the ψ(3770) resonance with the Mark III detector at the SLAC storage ring SPEAR. No evidence for this process is found, resulting in an upper limit on the decay branching ratio of 1.7×10^(-3) at the 90% confidence level
Limits on τ lepton-flavor violating decays into three charged leptons
A search for the neutrinoless, lepton-flavor violating decay of the τ lepton into three charged leptons has been performed using an integrated luminosity of 468 fb^(-1) collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II collider. In all six decay modes considered, the numbers of events found in data are compatible with the background expectations. Upper limits on the branching fractions are set in the range (1.8–3.3)×10^(-8) at 90% confidence level
