Evolution of wages in the european socialist countries do they into market economies

    No full text
The fixing of wages in the European socialist countries continues to be a bureaucratic process based on the dominant role of the "paternalistic" state. Faced with the latest economic, social and political problems this mechanism displays symptoms of crisis. Attempts made to ensure its greater elasticity have not changed its very essence. A real alternative seems to be a three-sided agreement (government, trade unions, employers) based on the market of labour and broad autonomy of enterprises
