Analysis of guillotining and slitting, finite element simulations

Guillotining and slitting are two sheet metal cutting processes, which produce long straight cuts and can be seen as stationary processes. The analysis of these two processes is the subject of this thesis. This research project is part of a cluster of IOP projects on sheet metal cutting, originating from industrial requests for more fundamental knowledge, as sheet metal cutting is still mainly based on experience and trial and error. The objective is to develop models of guillotining and slitting to increase the insight and to contribute to the quality and productivity of these shearing processes

Types of Leadership and the Customary Courts in the Papua’s Customary Communities

The community is viewed as the classess of the community orderly and immutably and has its own board and property either materiil or immateriil wealth. The concept of the customary communities generally in Indonesia as stipulated also applies in Papua’s community. There are 4 (four) types of leadership in the Papua’s Community System they are 1) Charismatic Male Leadership Type; 2) King Leadership Type ; 3) Chieftains/ Clan Leadership Type; and 4) Mixing Leadership Type. In terms of the customary court in Papua, the customary courts for the customary communities in Papua is influenced by the social, cultural and ecological factors. It is also affected the system of the leadership as mentioned previously. Curently, the customary communities in Papua is using the courts in resolving the disputes and it calles the court as “sidang adat” or “urusan adat”. It has already practiced the procedure of the disputes (customary) disputes through the consultation led by the elders of the community. Pengaruh Inventarisasi, Legal Audit, Penilaian dan Kondisi Aset terhadap Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Aset pada Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Bone Bolango

. One of the main problems in the asset management is the asset utilisation and management disorders. This creates difficulties for the local government to identify the assets that they hold or manage, thus the asset utilisation and its management tend not to be optimal. The objective of this research is to analyse the impact of asset management to the optimisation of the asset utilisation at Local Government of Bone Bolango. The variables utilised for this research are stocktaking, legal auditing, assessment and condition of the asset. The samples for this research are 104 people. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling. This is a quantitative research and the method used was multiple regression analysis. The research finding shows that partially, the stocktaking, assessment and condition of the asset have positive and significant impact to the optimisation of asset utilisation; while the legal auditing has no impact toward the optimisation of asset utilisation. The value of the coefficient of determination shows that the stocktaking, legal auditing, assessment and condition of the asset altogether contribute to the optimisation of asset utilisation which is 58,8% and the remaining of 41,2% is affected by the factors beyond this research
