In today’s increasingly complex economic environment, the developments of enterprises rely more and more on the strength of senior management team. Especially for the IT companies, who rely on the high-tech development. This article analyzes the influence of the heterogeneity in TMT’s education background, age, and working years on technological innovation, depending on the data collected from IT industry from six central provinces. The empirical research shows that the heterogeneity of term and degree will have positive effect on the enterprise technological innovation, while the heterogeneity of age has no significant influence on technological innovation. The IT enterprises from six provinces should absorb the talents who have different education background, accept the new members and make full use of their intelligence to improve the enterprises technological innovation ability and promote competitiveness

    Chalktalk VR/AR

When people want to brainstorm ideas, currently they often draw their ideas on paper or on a whiteboard.  But the result of those drawings is a static visual representation.  Alternately, people often use various tools to prepare animations and simulations to express their ideas.  But those animations and simulations must be created beforehand, and therefore cannot be easily modified dynamically in the course of the brainstorming process. Chalktalk VR/AR is a paradigm for creating drawings in the context of a face to face brainstorming session that is happening with the support of VR or AR.  Participants draw their ideas in the form of simple sketched simulation elements, which can appear to be floating in the air between participants.  Those elements are then recognized by a simple AI recognition system, and can be interactively incorporated by participants into an emerging simulation that builds more complex simulations by linking together these simulation elements in the course of the discussion

Crystal Structure of the Cysteine Desulfurase DndA from Streptomyces lividans Which Is Involved in DNA Phosphorothioation

DNA phosphorothioation is widespread among prokaryotes, and might function to restrict gene transfer among different kinds of bacteria. There has been little investigation into the structural mechanism of the DNA phosphorothioation process. DndA is a cysteine desulfurase which is involved in the first step of DNA phosphorothioation. In this study, we determined the crystal structure of Streptomyces lividans DndA in complex with its covalently bound cofactor PLP, to a resolution of 2.4 Å. Our structure reveals the molecular mechanism that DndA employs to recognize its cofactor PLP, and suggests the potential binding site for the substrate L-cysteine on DndA. In contrast to previously determined structures of cysteine desulfurases, the catalytic cysteine of DndA was found to reside on a β strand. This catalytic cysteine is very far away from the presumable location of the substrate, suggesting that a conformational change of DndA is required during the catalysis process to bring the catalytic cysteine close to the substrate cysteine. Moreover, our in vitro enzymatic assay results suggested that this conformational change is unlikely to be a simple result of random thermal motion, since moving the catalytic cysteine two residues forward or backward in the primary sequence completely disabled the cysteine desulfurase activity of DndA
