    Analisis Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Palu pada Materi Dinamika Partikel

    Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA Negeri 2 Palu pada materi dinamika partikel. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 24 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes seleksi responden, tes essay, dan wawancara. Tes seleksi responden terdiri dari 20 butir soal yang diberikan kepada 24 siswa untuk menentukan 6 responden dan tes essay berupa soal uraian keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada materi fluida statis sebanyak 8 butir soal yang diberikan kepada 6 responden yang terpilih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada aspek kelancaran dan keluwesan diperoleh nilai rata-rata per soal pada kategori sedang, dan aspek orisinalitas dan elaborasi berada pada kategori tinggi serta keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 58,33%. Disarankan bagi guru perlu membiasakan siswa untuk mengerjakan soal-soal yang menuntut kreativitas peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik akan terlatih dalam berpikir kreatif

    Effect of Scientific Attitudes and Critical Thinking towards Environment Ability by the Contextual Teaching and Learning Guide with Sets Approach of Seven Grade Students in SMP Negeri 3 Palu

    The objectives of the research are to gain information concerning the influence between (1) scientific attitudes towards environmental ability outcome, (2) critical thinking towards environment ability outcome, (3) scientific attitudes together with critical thinking and environment ability outcome. The tested hypothesis indicated that there is a positive influence between (1) scientific attitudes and environment ability outcome, (2) critical thinking and environment ability outcome, and (3) scientific attitudes together with critical thinking and environment ability outcome. The method used was pre-experimental. The targeted populations were all 503 students in seven classes of SMP Negeri 3 Palu with 36 students samples selected by using a simple purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used questionnaires, critical thinking test, and environment ability test. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant influence between scientific attitudes student’s to environment ability through the contextual teaching and learning guide with SETS approach (Fcount 27.095 > Ftable 4.13) with a contribution of 44.3%, (2) there is a significant influence between critical thinking student’s to environment ability through the contextual teaching and learning guide with SETS approach (F count 9.970 > Ftable 4.13) with a contribution of 22.7% (3) there is a significant influence between scientific attitudes and critical thinking student’s to Environment Ability through the contextual teaching and learning models with SETS approach (F count g 13.475 > Fttable 3.30) with a contribution of  45.0%

    Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Fisika Siswa SMA Menggunakan Two-tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument

    Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar fisika siswa SMA. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 5 Palu kelas XI MIPA 1 tahun ajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 20 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah two-tier multiple choice diagnostic instrument yang terdiri dari 25 soal pilihan ganda beralasan terbuka dan wawancara. Data hasil tes kemudian dianalisis untuk menentukan persentase yang paham konsep dan kesulitan belajar pada setiap soal yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persentase yang paham konsep lebih rendah yakni 48% dan persentase kesulitan belajar lebih tinggi yakni 52%. Faktor penyebab kesulitan siswa antara lain kurangnya latihan dalam mengerjakan soal yang berhubungan dengan materi fluida dinamis, kurangnya percaya diri siswa untuk bertanya kepada guru sehingga mereka sering bertanya kepada temannya saja, siswa malas untuk membaca buku teks, siswa sering menyontek tanpa mengoreksi kembali jawabannya dan semakin sulit materi maka siswa semakin sulit untuk memahami

    Cross-Sectional Students Conception about Eclipse and Moon Phase

    This study aimed to describe the conception of junior high school students, high school and students about eclipses and the phases of the moon. Respondents involved in this study were 35 junior high school students, 24 high school students and 38 college students. The instrument used to mendeksripsikan conception as much as 10 numbers. At the first level students are expected to choose the right option right or wrong or memilh existing options. At the second level students are asked to give a reason or their reasoning on the answers chosen. Presentation answers and reasons given by the students and the students analyzed and interviewed nine respondents by category of high, medium and low. The results showed the error of misconceptions on the respondents and conception does not depend on the level of education as evidenced by the acquisition of junior high students score higher than high school students and college students. Finally, further advice is based on an error of misconceptions and research development are presented for future research. The results obtained are the respondents students and students assume the time required to rotate months is not the same as the time required months evolved, respondents can not explain well the position and phase of the moon that occurred, respondents have a better conception on the questions about the eclipse compared with Matter for the phase of the month and the level of education of the respondents did not affect the respondents have a higher conception

    This research aims to find out the effect of logic concept mastery by cognitive development on physics science learning achievement with a problem-solving approach. The population of subjects was students of class VIII SMP Negeri 16 Palu with purposive sampling technique with a quasi-experimental method based on the results of data analysis can be concluded as follows: 1) oriented learning with a problem-solving approach to learning in the subject matter in class VIII of SMP can light improve student learning outcomes;  2) there was a significant effect between mastery of the concept of cognitive development to the learning outcomes with the value of R= 0.802; 3) the response of the student to the teaching component that includes teaching materials, LKS, practice, and approaches used by the teacher in teaching was happy and interested

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Levels of Inquiry (LOI) terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Fisika Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sigi

    Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model Levels of Inquiry terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sigi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi menggunakan desain the non equivalen Prestest-postest design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pemahaman konsep fisika dalam bentuk tes esai berjumlah 5 soal. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, diperoleh rerata skor pretest pemahaman konsep fisika siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 6,04 dengan standar deviasi 12,37, untuk rerata skor posttest adalah 12,81 dengan standar deviasi 11,95. Untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh rerata skor pretest 5,78 dengan standar deviasi 13,26, sedangkan untuk rerata skor posttest adalah 8,85 dengan standar deviasi 9,51. Berdasarkan teknik statistic uji-t satu pihak untuk menguji perbedaan rerata skor pemahaman konsep fisika siswa dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05, diperoleh nilai hasil thitung = 6,74 dan ttabel = 1,67. Ini berarti bahwa nilai thitungberada di luar daerah penerimaan Ho. Disimpulkan bahwa, terdapat pengaruh model Levels of Inquiry (LOI) terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Sigi

    The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) learning model on critical thinking ability and student learning outcomes in science subjects. The sampling technique is purposive sample population through the experimental method, this research population is the students of class V SDN 12 Palu. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) there was the influence of learning model search, solve, create and share (SSCS) to student critical thinking ability on science subjects with human and animal organ material; 2) there was the influence of learning model of search, solve, create and share to student learning outcomes on science subjects with human and animal organ material: 3) the average gain after the posttest in the experimental class was 82.97; 4) the results of observation of teacher activity and observation of student activities can be said to be good. &nbsp

    Effect of Creative Productive Learning Model Assisted by Visual Media and Learning Inquiry Model with Media Assistance Concept Map on Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects in Class V SD Negeri 7 Poso

    This study aimed to determine the Effect of Creative Productive Learning Model Assisted by Visual Media and Learning Inquiry Model with Media Assistance Concept Map on Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects in Class V SD Negeri 7 Poso. This research was an experimental research. The population was the seventh grade students of SD Negeri 7 Poso amounting to 50 students, the samples used as the source of research data were the Va class students amounted to 25 students and Vb class amounted to 25 students. The data collection methods conducted in this study was the students' test result. Data analysis techniques used in this study included hypothesis prerequisite test and hypothesis testing. The results of the first hypothesis with SPSS program obtained significant value for t test results of 18.728 was greater than t table of 2.064 and the value of p = 0,000 <0.05 so that the alternative hypothesis states that there is influence of productive creative learning model assisted visual media to the learning outcomes students of Grade V of SD Negeri 7 Poso on Science subjects (Natural Science) was accepted. The result of second hypothesis calculation with SPSS program got significant value for result of test of t test equal to 19,316 bigger than t table equal to 2,064 and value p = 0,000 <0,05 so alternative hypothesis that there is influence of model of inquiry learning inquiry media concept map to learning result students of Grade V of SD Negeri 7 Poso on Science subjects (Natural Science) was accepted. The results of the third hypothesis with SPSS program obtained Fcount value of 12.292 larger than F tabel of 4.043 and the value of p = 0.001 <0.05 so that the alternative hypothesis states that there is influence of creative learning model assisted visual media and inquiry learning model assisted media concept map simultaneous to the result of learning of grade V of SD Negeri 7 Poso on science subject (Natural Science) was accepted

    The Effect of Critical Abilities Thinking and Logical Thinking on Student’s Physics Learning Achievement at XII SMAN 2 Palu

    The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine (1) the effect of critical thinking skills on physics learning achievement, (2) the effect of the ability to think logically on physics learning achievement, (3) whether there is an influence shared between the critical thinking skills and logical thinking ability of students to the student physics achievement. This research is ex post facto. The study population was all students of class XII IPA SMA N 2 Palu that involved 292 students academic year 2016-2017. The samples in this study were students of XII Science class, 106 students were taken by purposive sampling in total which has four classes based on certain considerations. The data collection technique is using the test method for data critical thinking skills and logical thinking ability, and for students' physics learning achievement data. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are: (i) there was a significant influence on the critical thinking skills to student physics learning achievement (R = 0.618> 0.196 at a significance level of 5%), (ii) there was a significant effect on the logical thinking ability to student physics learning achievement (R = 0.671> 0.195 at level significance 5%), (iii) there was a mutual influence between critical thinking skills and logical thinking ability to students physics learning achievement (R = 0.756, at the 5% significance level).     &nbsp
