    The Influence of Multiliteration Model in Mathematical Learning to Increase Ability of Mathematical Conection Students SD Class V

    This research is based on the ability of mathematical connections of students who are still relatively low, seen from the results of PISA 2012 and 2015. The low yield is because the learning has not been well facilitated, as well as the habituation of teachers to develop indicators of mathematical connection capability. Viewing the learning of mathematics that has the concept of learning systematic and has a relationship with each concept demands for every human being can think logically, systematically, and rationally. So that the selection of learning models that can develop the ability, one of which multiliteration model. This learning consists of four learning cycles: setup, explore, share and discuss, and presenting. The research was conducted on the students of Grade V Elementary School 2013 with the theme of Theme 8 on building simple spaces (cubes and beams). The purpose of this research is to know the difference of improvement and comparison of mathematical connection ability using multiliteration model with ordinary learning (scientific). This research is quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SDN 036 Ujungberung and SDN 050 Cibiru. Based on the results of mathematical connection test data processing, the difference of students' mathematical connection ability is based on the average score of post control class score of 68.52 and the experimental class is 78.61 after receiving treatment with the difference of 10,09. The improved quality of mathematical connection ability of the experimental class and control class is in the medium category. Based on gain analysis data of mathematical connection ability of student of experiment class is better than control class with difference 0,185. So that the multiliteration model becomes one of the alternative learning models that can be used in an effort to improve students' mathematical connection ability

    Groundwater is the water resources necessary for living things and the most desirable human. Groundwater needs to increase as the population increase. One example is in the Alluvial Plain of Semarang. To supply water necessary, the population use a tap of aquifer shallow wells. Shallow aquifer vulnerable to contamination due to the effect of shallow depth and human activities. Therefore there is a needed to conduct for research on the groundwater vulnerability due to contamination. GOD is the system to determine of value groundwater vulnerability due to contamination. The parameters used are the type of aquifer (G), type of lithology aquitard (O), and the depth to groundwater table (D). These three parameters derived from resistivity data and hydrogeology data. The results of the analysis by this method has three levels of vulnerability of groundwater due to contamination the area of the vulnerability of low, moderate, and high. So it is recommended that the analysis can be made of the green open area to reduce contamination and groundwater catchment area is formed, and restrict the activities to achieve economic gains and reduce the danger of environmental contamination

    Problem-Solving Ability of Science Students in Optical Wave Courses

    Optical wave courses at the Department of Science discuss waves and optics. The purpose of this study is to describe the problem-solving ability of students in optical wave courses. The method used is quantitative descriptive with one group pre-test post-test design. Method of data collection involves a test given to students before and after the student worksheet was provided in the course of optical waves. This study showed an increase in scores experienced by as many as 15 students. This shows that the problem-solving ability of students has increased

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 2 dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) berbantuan demonstrasi pada materi Hidrolisis Garam di SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono Boyolali tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Sumber data adalah guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah metode observasi, wawancara, angket, tes dan dokumentasi atau arsip. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa ketercapaian aktivitas siswa sebesar 76,38% pada siklus I menjadi 82,86% pada siklus II. Prestasi belajar aspek kognitif meningkat dari 60,71% pada siklus I menjadi 92,86% pada siklus II, sedangkan prestasi belajar aspek afektif meningkat dari 80,13%pada siklus I menjadi 80,70% pada siklus II. Dari angket respon Balikan siswa diketahui sebesar 96,43% siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI berbantuan demonstrasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI berbantuan demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa

    : This research aimed to describe the influence of the mother's discipline rearing pattern and spiritual rearing pattern on the character of the elementary school-age children in Bogor Regency. The research design used was a cross sectional study involving 125 children and mothers, selected using proportional random sampling, and the data were collected using a questionnaire. The research found that there was no significant difference between the discipline rearing pattern and the spiritual rearing pattern on male and female children. The research found that the average score of spiritual rearing pattern was better than that of the discipline rearing pattern. The mother's education, inductive discipline rearing pattern, discipline rearing pattern with verbal abuse, and spiritual rearing pattern were significantly related to the character. The results showed that gender, inductive discipline rearing pattern, and spiritual rearing pattern had a positive significant influence on the children's character

    Masyarakat Minang merupakan masyarakat penganut matrilineal terbesar di dunia. Selain itu, etnik ini juga telah menerapkan sistem proto-demokrasi sejak masa pra-Hindu dengan adanya kerapatan adat untuk menentukan hal-hal penting dan permasalahan hukum. Kuatnya kearifan lokal masyarakat Minang dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pada sistem kemasyarakatan dan isu-isu global, sangat berpengaruh pada penguatan masyarakat local dimanapun berada. Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji dimensi ekonomi dan bisnis kearifan lokal masyarakat Minang pedagang rantau di DKI Jakarta, memahami nilai ekonomi dan bisnis yang dapat dipertahankan dan faktor-faktor yang menggeser atau meningkatkan kearifan lokal dalam sisi bisnis dan ekonomi pada masyarakat Minang pedagang rantau. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan melakukan survey dan focussed group discussion (FGD) guna mendokumentasikan, merekam dan mencatat untuk dianalisis dan menghasilkan produk e-book petatah petitih masyarakat Minang yang masih digunakan oleh banyak pedagang rantau. Hasil penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai ekonomi dan bisnis masih banyak digunakan dalam berbisnis dan kehidupan masyarakat minang pedagang rantau di DKI Jakarta.     The main goal of this study was to describe the psychological characteristics of the athletes of archery, tae kwon do, Pencak Silat, football, athletics, volley ball, and sepaktakraw in the Center for Students Education and Training (CSET). The data were collected from 104 male and female athletes. The study showed that among the groups of athletes of different sports had different psychological characteristics. Footballers had the best motivation, self-confidence, and mental preparation. Athletes of tae kwon do had the best control of anxiety and concentration, but the lowest motivation. Volleyball athletes had the highest team concern, but the lowest concentration, self-confidence, and mental preparation, compared to those from the other sports. The athletes of athletics had the lowest team concern, and the athletes of pencak silat had the lowest control of anxiety compared to athletes from the other sports.
