    SPK capital loan assistance to small and medium businesses are made by weighted product method (WPM). The criteria that are used in decision support system based on regulations in department of industry and trade. This criteria also had quantitive value. Five criteria which are used in this assesment are production, marketing, management of human resources, financial and investment feasibility. Each criteria have sub. There are four steps that are used to calculate the rank of each UMKM using weighted product model (WPM). First, calculate the value of weights for each sub criteria. Second, calculate the value of preference of each alternatives. Third, calculate the relative preference of each alternative.     Tujuan utama dari proses seleksi pemilihan pegawai pada suatu Perusahaan adalah untuk mendapatkan orang yang tepat bagi suatu jabatan tertentu, sehingga orang tersebut mampu bekerja secara optimal dan dapat bertahan di Perusahaan untuk jangka waktu yang lama. Meskipun tujuan tersebut terdengar sederhana, namun pada Kenyataannya proses pemilihan pegawai merupakan kegiatan rutinitas yang sangat kompleks, memakan waktu yang cukup lama, biaya yang tidak sedikt dan sangat terbuka peluang untuk melakukan kesalahan dalam menentukan orang yang tepat. Profile Matching merupakan suatu metode dalam sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat membandingkan kompetensi individu ke dalam kompetensi jabatan sehingga dapat diketahui perbedaan kompetensinya.     One-empon empon plant that is widely used by the public as an ingredient in traditional medicines or herbs in the Java language is ginger (Zingiber officinale R.). Efficacy of ginger were so many and the price is quite high in the market, making ginger into one of the many crops planted by farmers in Indonesia. Compared to other medicinal plants, ginger is a plant that is quite often affected by pests. Bayes theorem is one of the algorithms that can be used to make a diagnosis based on the ginger plant with visible symptoms on plants. The system will ask you some questions all the symptoms experienced by the ginger plant when bacterial wilt disease, rhizome rot or leaf spot. The results of the user answers will be calculated by Bayes theorem to obtain a probability value to the three diseases. Obtained from testing if the user input only 2 kinds of symptoms, ie leaf yellowing and leaf curl obtained probability value for each disease are: Bacterial wilt of 0.28; Rhizome Rot of 0.156 and 0.562 for leaf spots. Value will be the greatest probability of disease diagnosis that may be experienced by the ginger plant. From the results obtained possibility ginger plant leaf spotting diseases with a probability value of 0.562

    Karakterisasi Faktor-faktor Virulensi Staphylococcus Aureus Asal Susu Kambing Peranakan Ettawa Secara Fenotip Dan Genotip

    Staphylococcus aureus is a major cause of mastitis in large or small ruminants, and often manifested by subclinical mastitis in Peranakan Ettawa (PE) goats. Staphylococcus aureus in human can cause food borne disease. The research aimed to characterize the virulence factors of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from milk PE goats, phenotypic- and genotypically. Phenotypically characterization were determined through the pigmen assay as well as hydrophobicity, haemolysin, and hemaglutinin reaction. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis was used to detect 4 virulen genes including coa, clf, fnbA, and fnbB genes. The results of research showed that Staphylococcus aureus abled to produce white pigmen (35,7%), yellow pigmen g (57,1%), andorange pigmen (7,2%). Staphylococcus aureus showed α-hemolysis zone (35,7%), β-hemolysis (35,7%), dan γ-hemolysis (28,9%). Hydrophobicytic test revealed 14,3% Staphylococcus aureus isolates were hydrophobe and85,7% hydrophil. Staphylococcus aureus (85,7%) isolates abled to aglutinated sheep blood cells. Based on genotypic analysis of Staphylococcus aureus could be detected coa gene (92,8%), clf gene (64,3%), fnbA gene (78,6%), and fnbB gene (64,3%). Based on the phenotypic and genotypic characters, it can be concluded that Staphylococcus aureus are virulent strains. This information can be used as the basis for control mastitis in PE goat

    Efektivitas Beberapa Jenis Pupuk N Pada Pembibitan Kelapa Sawit / Effectiveness of Several Types of N Fertilizer on Palm Oil Nursery

    Formula pupuk N lepas lambat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi N. Tujuan penelitian adalah mempelajari pengaruh beberapa jenis pupuk N terhadap pembibitan kelapa sawit menggunakan tanah Inceptisols Bogor. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Kaca dan Laboratorium Balai Penelitian Tanah, Bogor. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah (1) Kontrol lengkap, (2) Kontrol tanpa Urea, (3) Urea pril (standar), (4) N + Zeolit 50%, (5) N + Zeolit 75%, (6) N + Zeolit 100%, (7) N+ Zeolit + Kitosan 50%, (8) N + Zeolit + Kitosan 75%, (9) N + Zeolit + Kitosan 100%, (10) N + Zeolit + Humat 50%, (11) N + Zeolit + Humat 75%, (12) N + Zeolit + Humat 100%, (13) N-Humat 50%, dan (14) N-Humat 100%. Analisis tanah dilakukan sebelum tanam dan sesudah panen biomas dengan parameter: N-total (metode Kjeldahl), P-tersedia (Bray I), Kation dapat ditukar (Ca, Mg, K) dan kapasitas tukar kation (KTK) (ekstrak NH4Ac pH 7), kejenuhan basa (KB). Pengamatan agronomis tinggi tanaman umur 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 dan 9 bulan, bobot biomas basah dan kering, serapan hara N, P dan K. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan N + Zeolit + Kitosan 75% nyata meningkatkan tinggi tanaman kelapa sawit umur 9 bulan sebesar 146,7 cm, bobot biomas kering sebesar 701,2 g pot-1 dengan nilai RAE 140% dan serapan hara N, P, dan K masing-masing sebesar 2,82; 0,25 dan 2,17 g pot-1. Peningkatan bobot biomas kering sebesar 22% dibanding Urea standar. Formulasi pupuk N dengan Zeolit dan penyalutan dengan Kitosan mampu mengefisienkan pupuk Urea hingga 25%
