    Diplomacy is an art in achieving the objectives of such country. Diplomacy fruitfulness is determined by various factors. This research aims to anatomize the diplomatic efforts of Brazil to host the FIFA 2014 World Cup as well as the factors that determine the successful of it achievement and impacts of the FIFA 2014 World Cup for the development of Brazil's economy. Research findings indicate that Brazil performs multilateral diplomacy conducted at FIFA. It is supported by the precise momentum, the good leadership of President Lula Da Silva in making Brazil as a leader in the Latin America, friendly foreign policy, and the support of the major powers. The positive impact of the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil can be found in terms of political, economic and social benefits, while the negative impact appears in the form of increased crime rates

    Penggunaan Sistem Informasi telah menjadi kebutuhan organisasi dalam menjalankan operasional dan layanannya. Pemerintah juga telah menggunakan Sistem Informasi dengan mempertimbangkan keuntungan yang didapat antara lain efisien, efektif, dan transparansi guna mendukung tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik dan bersih. Direktorat Bina Penataan Bangunan yang berada di bawah Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat  telah menerapkan dan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi di dalam melaksanakan tugas dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Untuk mencapai tujuan dan target organisasi maka diperlukan strategi Sistem Informasi yang selaras dengan strategi Operasional. Artikel ini akan membahas langkah-langkah analisis perencanaan strategis sistem informasi untuk Direktorat Bina Penataan Bangunan dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja Ward and Peppard. Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi dimulai dengan melakukan analisis operasional Direktorat Bina Penataan Bangunan dilanjutkan dengan analisis sistem informasi saat ini kemudian melakukan penyusunan rencana strategis sistem informasi Direktorat Bina Penataan Bangunan sampai tahun 2019. Rencana Strategis Sistem Informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu pihak manajemen di lingkungan Direktorat Bina Penataan Bangunan dalam mengumpulkan data dan informasi sehingga dapat mengambil keputusan yang mendukung pencapaian target di tahun 2019

    Hard-photon production with b jets at hadron colliders

    We present total and differential cross sections for the production of a hard photon with up to two b jets at both the Tevatron with center-of-mass energy 1.96 TeV and the Large Hadron Collider with center-of-mass energy 8 TeV, including Next-to-Leading Order (NLO) QCD corrections and full b-quark mass effects. We study the theoretical uncertainty due to the residual renormalization- and factorization-scale dependence and explain its origin on the basis of the different subprocesses contributing to the NLO cross section. We specifically address the case of the production of a hard photon with at least one b jet and compare the NLO QCD predictions in both the Four- and Five-Flavor-Number Schemes to the experimental measurements obtained by CDF and D0.Comment: 33 pages, 50 postscript figure

    Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Kimia dalam Pembelajaran melalui Lesson Study

    The purposes of this research were describe: (1) the preparation of lesson study planner (2) the implementation of lesson study (3) the evaluation of lesson study.This research used school research at SMA N 2 Metro with subject of research were 4 teacher model.The collection of data was using an instrument of pedagogical competence.Conclusion of the research was there is an increasing in assessment scores, score for every cycle are : (1) lesson study planning are respectively 46, 83 and 93 (2) implementation of lesson increasing study are respectively 50, 79 and 93 (3) evaluation of lesson study for every cycle are respectively 55, 90 and 95. The increasing of teachers model pedagogical competence scores in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle: teacher model 1: 50.2, 71.7 and 89.4, teachers model 2: 46.2, 74 and 92.7, teachers model 3: 51.4, 74 and 89.7, teacher model 4: 48.7, 74 and 91.Tujuan penelitian adalah mendiskripsikan: (1) penyusunan perencana lesson study (2) pelaksanaan lesson study (3) evaluasi lesson study. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan sekolah di SMA Negeri 2 Metro dengan subyek 4 guru model. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen kompetensi pedagogik.     Soil movement often occur on the slopes natural or embankment. In the absence of natural slopes non vegetation cover and slopes with vegetation cover became the main object of this research. Rate is the final results obtained from laboratory scale experiment of the natural slopes of the approach. Slope Angle is very influential to the movement rate of the soil. Angle of tilt 20? generating rate of land between: 15 cm/sec up to 66 cm/sec for compacted soil and 100 cm/sec for non compacted soil. While the angle of 40 ? yield rate of the ground between: 100 cm/sec to 125 cm /sec for compacted soil and rate between : 85 cm/sec to 200 cm/sec for non compacted soil

    Matching the Nagy-Soper parton shower at next-to-leading order

    We present an MC@NLO-like matching of next-to-leading order QCD calculations with the Nagy-Soper parton shower. An implementation of the algorithm within the HELAC-DIPOLES Monte Carlo generator is used to address the uncertainties and ambiguities of the matching scheme. First results obtained using the Nagy-Soper parton shower implementation in DEDUCTOR in conjunction with the HELAC-NLO framework are given for the pp -> top anti-top j + X process at the LHC with sqrt(s)=8 TeV.
