The symmetry breaking of 5-dimensional SU(6) GUT into 4-dimensional SU(3) x SU(3) x U(1) with orbifold S1/Z2 through Scherk-Schwarz mechanism is investigated. It is shown that the origin of Little Higgs can be generated to further break SU(3) x SU(3) x U(1) down to the electroweak scale through Higgs mechanism.Comment: 4 page

Proton decay in 5D SU(6) GUT with orbifold S^1/Z_2 breaking in Scherk-Schwarz mechanism

Proton decay within 5-dimensional SU(6) GUT with orbifold S^1/Z_2 breaking is investigated using Scherk-Schwarz mechanism. It is shown that in the model neither leptoquark like heavy gauge bosons nor violation of baryon number conservation are allowed due to the orbifold breaking parity splitting. Hubungan Keikutsertaan Organisasi Dengan Regulasi Diri Pada Remaja : Studi Kasus Di SMA N 2 Ngawi

Background : Adolescent is development process from children to adult. Self regulation is one of component adolescent development. The school environment is one of the factors that influence self regulation, in this environment student can follow the activities of the organization.Aim : The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the organization's participation and self regulation in adolescents.Methods : The method of this study was an observational research with cross sectional approach, began from March to July 2015. Subjects were the students in SMA N 2 Ngawi. SRQ (Self Regulation Questionnaire) and the organization's questionnaire validating before were used to collect data. Data was analyzed by Chi-square testResults : The number of respondents were 80 students, consist of 46 respondent who actively participated in the organization and 34 respondents who are not actively participated in the organization. Students who actively participated in the organization of 21.7% has a good self regulation, 65.3% intermediate and 13% low, while students who do not actively participated in the organization of 8.8% has a good self regulation, 53% intermediate and 38.2% low. The value of probability the relationship between the participation of organizations and self regulation was 0,021 (p <0.05).Conclusion : There is a significant correlation between an organization's participation in self-regulation

Pigmented Oral Lichen Planus: a Case Report

Background: Lichen planus is a chronic muccocutaneous inflammatory disorder. Oral lichen planus (OLP) has certain specific characteristics in its clinical presentation, but can also be presented in forms resembling other diseases. This may introduce difficulty in the diagnostic process. It has been reported that OLP affects between 0.1 to 4% individuals, predominantly women and people over 40 years old. Case Report: A 46-year-old woman complained of a non-healing ulcer present for 1.5 months. Intraorally, multiple white striae with prominent central areas of brownish hyperpigmentation were apparent on the right and left buccal mucosa, right and left buccal sulcus, and lateral and dorsum of the tongue. A biopsy was completed and the histopathology features confirmed the diagnosis of OLP. For the initial treatment, a topical corticosteroid was prescribed, followed by steroid mouthwash. Response to this treatment was positive. OLP has been frequently reported to affect women over the age of 40, with psychological stress as a primary predisposing factor. The clinical presentation is characteristic of Wickham's striae with erosive areas. However, a biopsy and histopathological examination is mandatory to confirm the diagnosis. The clinical feature of pigmented OLP has been reported and confirmed by microscopic finding of band-like lymphocytic appearance which is the pathognomonic features of OLP, along with basal cell liquefaction degeneration, and melanin in continence at the lamina propria. Conclusion: Pigmented OLP is a variant of erosive OLP. Anamnesis, clinical presentation, and histopathological examination confirm diagnosis. DOI : https://doi.org/10.26912/sdj.2017.01.01-0

Near-brane SU(6) origin Higgs in Scherk-Schwarz breaking of five-dimensional SU(6) GUT

The symmetry breaking of five-dimensional SU(6) GUT is realized by Scherk-Schwarz mechanisms through trivial and pseudo nontrivial orbifold S1/Z2 breakings to produce dimensional deconstruction 5D SU(6) \rightarrow4D SU(6). The latter also induces near-brane weakly-coupled SU(6) Baby Higgs to further break the symmetry into SU(3)C \otimes SU(3)H \otimes U(1)C. The model successfully provides a scenario of the origin of (Little) Higgs from GUT scale, produces the (intermediate and light) Higgs boson with the most preferred range and establishes coupling unification and compactification scale correctly.Comment: 23 pages, 5 figure

Hubungan Antara Gangguan Tidur Dengan Pertumbuhan Pada Anak Usia 3-6 Tahun Di Kota Semarang

Latar Belakang :Prevalensi gangguan pertumbuhan masih cukup besar. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan adalah faktor kelainan hormonal yang bisa dikarenakan oleh gangguan tidur. Sekitar 75% hormon pertumbuhan disintesis pada saat anak tidur, sehingga bila terjadi gangguan tidur pada anak maka hormon pertumbuhan akan terganggu. Tujuan : Menguji hubungan antara gangguan tidur dengan pertumbuhan pada anak usia 3-6 tahun di Kota Semarang.Metode : Penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional dilakukan pada periode Maret – Juni 2013.Subjek penelitian adalah orangtua anak yang memiliki anak berusia 3-6 tahun di beberapa TK/TPA dan PAUD di Kota Semarang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dengan menggunakan kuesioner SDSC serta pengukuran antropometri meliputi berat badan, tinggi badan, dan lingkar kepala pada anak. Uji statistik menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney.Hasil :Jumlah responden sebanyak 183 anak, terdiri atas 146 anak mengalami gangguan tidur. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan perbedaan bermakna pada rerata skor HAZ antara kelompok gangguan tidur dan tidak gangguan tidur(p=0,036). Tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara kedua kelompok pada rerata skor WAZ (p=0,244), Z-score IMT terhadap umur (p=0,855), dan Z-score lingkar kepala terhadap umur (p=0,389). Karakteristik data antara kedua kelompok menunjukkan perbedaanbermakna pada variabel usia, pendidikan terakhir ayah, dan status sosial ekonomi.Kesimpulan :Gangguan tidur pada anak berhubungan secara signifikan terhadap tinggi badan pada anak, namun tidak berhubungan secara signifikan pada berat badan, IMT, dan lingkar kepala pada anak
