A Rákos, MorgĂł Ă©s ApátkĂşti patakoknál közösen (vĂzgazdálkodás, meteorolĂłgia, halfaunisztika Ă©s botanika szakemberei) Ă©s folyamatosan vĂ©geztĂĽnk vizsgálatokat. A terepi mintavĂ©telek kĂ©miai eredmĂ©nyeire- mivel ez az összes szakterĂĽletnek fontos volt, felĂ©pĂtettĂĽnk egy saját adatbázist. A MorgĂł (Török) patakon elkĂ©szĂtettĂĽk az Ă©lĹ‘hely halak számára kedvezĹ‘bbĂ© tĂ©telĂ©t cĂ©lzĂł tervet, kĂ©t alternatĂvával. A kutatás vĂ©gĂ©re kialakult halfaunisztikai felmĂ©rĂ©seink segĂtettek a kedvezĹ‘bb változat kiválasztásában. GödöllĹ‘ AlsĂł-parki bukĂłnál (Rákos patak) 4 Ă©vi folyamatos, heti 2 alkalommal mĂ©rt vĂzállás adatsor áll rendelkezĂ©sre további elemzĂ©sek cĂ©ljábĂłl. Database was developed for storing our chemical monitoring results, which considered as very important parameters for each members of our consortium. Two versions of habitat restoration plans on the preference of fish fauna were designed. As the outcome of the fish monitoring the priority list could be set up and the best version could be selected. During the planning period the involvement of the stakeholders was successful. We were working with water level time serious measured at a dike in GödöllĹ‘ (AlsĂł-park). The gauging station has been operated manually for 4 years, taking data twice per week. At the territory delineated as the reference site for 1st type in B-system of WFD (at the upstream section of MorgĂł (also called Török) stream) interdisciplinary discussions could be formed as well as on Rák stream in HidegvĂzvölgy in Sopron region. Meanwhile international involvement with onside and offsite discussions have been introduced through a Czech-Hungarian Science and Technology Project with fish experts from Charles University in Prague (Cz-14/2005). As a product "The proplematic tasks of small streams and their catchments in the light of the Water Framework Directive - Guidline for catchement assessment" - a "manual" is worked out
The impact of the lesser blind mole rat [Nannospalax (superspecies leucodon)] on the species composition and diversity of a loess steppe in Hungary
Our aim was to investigate the species richness and diversity of a loess grassland influenced by
the digging of the lesser blind mole rat [Nannospalax (superspecies leucodon)] and to study the effect of
this disturbance to diversity. The study was conducted in the Külső-gulya loess grassland (Körös-Maros
National Park), which is unique in Hungary due to its excellent soil quality and the large spatial extent
of natural loess meadow steppe.
We recorded the cover of species in 50x50 cm plots. Altogether 12 plots were sampled on mounds of
mole rat and 12 plots as a control in the area with no mounds. Differences in species richness, Shannondiversity,
evenness and total cover between disturbed and control plots were tested by One-Way
ANOVA. There were no significant difference neither in the number of species, nor in the Shannondiversity
and evenness. There were differences in the species composition detected by PCO ordination.
We can conclude that the presence and disturbance of the mole rat influence the composition of the
grassland significantly but it does not cause a difference in the species richness, diversity and total cover.
Our results suggest that this grassland has adapted to these natural disturbances
