The objective for our group is to complete two stages by the end of the Fall 2018 semester to implement more awareness and recycling bins in the new UC. Stage 1: Research entails gathering information on the traffic within the UC in order to access the most efficient areas to place the recycling bins. This will allow us to determine how many bins we need with the accompanied research of what are the most cost efficient recycling bins. Also in this stage, research will be conducted to gather information on where the recycling from the school goes and what can and cannot be recycled to create posters and pamphlets to raise awareness on campus. Stage 2: Action entails working closely with the Environmental Awareness Committee that is part of the Student Government Association (SGA) on campus and creating a financial request to submit to the SGA to receive the financial funds to order the bins. Once the request is approved then our group can place the bins and posters/pamphlets in the new UC. This project aims to benefit the Embry-Riddle community as well as the betterment of the community as a whole. We hope to create more environmentally aware citizens that carry on their knowledge and morale with them down the paths they take beyond just the Embry-Riddle campus
