Trust Management Approach for Detection of Malicious Devices in SIoT

    Get PDF
Internet of Things (IoT) is an innovative era of interrelated devices to provide services to other devices or users. In Social Internet of Thing (SIoT), social networking aspect is used for building relationships between devices. For providing or utilizing services, devices need to trust each other in complex and heterogeneous environments. Separating benign and malicious devices in SIoT is a prime security objective. In literature, several works proposed trust computation models based on trust features. But these models fail to identify malicious devices. This paper focuses on detection of malicious devices. In this paper, basic fundamentals, properties, models and attacks of trust in SIoT are discussed. Up-to-date research distributions on trust management and trust attacks are reviewed and idea of Trust Management using Machine Learning Algorithm (TM-MLA) is proposed for identification of malicious devices

Intelligent Street Light System Automated Street Lights Based on Vehicle Detection

    Get PDF
Sensors have become a day-to-day feature in our lives. Nowadays most mobile phones are equipped with fingerprint sensors, motion sensors & the newly arrived iris scanners. These sensors are provided as a form of biometrics to the device. But sensors can have a lot of other applications. One such application is to control various electronic gadgets according to the need of the user. Controlling street lights on detection of a vehicle where the traffic density is low is a great example of it. Sensor based system to detect a vehicle & turning on the respective street lights can help save a lot of city?s electricity budget. The main aspect of this project is to perform timely functionalities as soon as the sensor detects the vehicle. So, on detection of a vehicle the system triggers the next few street lights to turn on in an orderly sequence. As soon as the vehicle passes by, the street lights are turned off after a certain amount of time & a lot of energy is saved

Nanocrystalline Manganese Substituted Nickel Ferrite Thick Films as PPM Level H2S Gas Sensors

    Get PDF
A simple sol-gel auto combustion technique is introduced for the synthesis of nanocrystalline manganese substituted nickel ferrite dry powders. These dry powders were mechano-chemically mixed with organic binders to prepare thixotropic pastes. Thixotropic pastes of as prepared ferrite powders were formulated and screen printed on glass substrates to form thick films, followed by firing at 450oC. The crystal structure, phase, surface morphology and topography of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction study, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, etc. The gas sensing behavior of the samples were characterized by exposing the films to various inflammable and toxic gases like LPG, NH3, CO2, ethanol, H2S and Cl2. It was found that the sensors made from the composition containing x=1.0, exhibits highly selective and most sensitive towards 20 ppm of H2S gas at 3500C. The effect of operating temperature, gas concentration, type of gases, etc. on gas response were studied and discussed. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15082

    Advanced Digital Lymphedema Equipment

It uses a compression and deflection to leg and hand within body tissues.  The purpose of our study was the evaluation of self-reported incidences of lymphedema in breast cancer survivors and the effect of providing the patients with information about lymphedema on the extent to which lymph-drainage massage services and compression garments were used. Lympedema therapy uses air compression to inflect and deflect air in culf. Diathermy uses high-frequency electric current to produce heat deep inside a targeted tissue. It can reach areas as deep as two inches beneath the skins surface
