Pengaruh Fraud Indicators Terhadap Fraudulent Financial Statement: Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Yang Listed Di Bursa Efek Indonesia (Bei) Tahun 2008-2013

This study aimed to examine the effect of fraud indicators against the detection of fraudulent financial statement on non-financial company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2008–2013. Variables used in this research are financial stability, external pressures, financial target, debt, liquidity, performance, the effectiveness of supervision, the quality of the external auditor and the change of directors.The research was conducted by quantitative methods using secondary data. The secondary data came from a list of cases Otorisasi Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and non-financial companies annual report listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This research population is company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2008-2013, and then the samples were taken by purposive sampling with criteria non-financial company and have the required data in this study. The research uses logistic regression statistical tools because the dependent variable was dummy variable (non metric), while the independent variable was metric and non metric variable.The results showed that the fraud indicators of financial stability has a positive influence on fraudulent financial statement, while the fraud indicators (financial target and performance) have a negatively affect the fraudulent financial statement

Beberapa Jenis Mangrove Tumbuhan Obat Tradisional di Taman Nasional Sembilang, Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan (The Potential Of Mangrove AS Medical Plants In Sembilang Nasional Park Banyuasin South Sumatera)

The research “Potential Mangrove as Medical Plants in Sembilang National Park Banyuasin South Sumatera” which was conducted in 6 April – 6 October 2013 aims to determine the species of mangrove that can be used as a traditional medicine, to know the parts of mangrove which used as traditional medicine, and utilization the use of mangrove as traditional medicine. The sampling method used was Snowball Sampling, which seek information from the publicor other sources of reliable. Results of the study found that 5 species of mangrove plants are useful as medicinal Acanthus ilicifolius, Acrostichum aureum, Avicennia alba, Sesuvium por-tulacastrum and Xylocharpus granatum. Part of the fruit, sap, leaves and whole plant were used, the utilization was obtained as cure for ulcers, abdominal pain, typhus, itchiness, eye pain that affected by sap of buta-buta plant

DARAPLADIB INHIBIT ADHESION MOLECULE EXPRESSION IN AORTA AT EARLY STAGES OF ATHEROSCLEROSIS USING SPRAGUE-DAWLEY TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS MODEL

Objective: Hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia in diabetes mellitus (DM) can lead an atherosclerosis. The increase of low-density lipoprotein level in DM and atherosclerosis is correlated with lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2). Lp-PLA2 is an enzyme that produces lysophosphatidylcholine (LysoPC) and oxidized nonesterified fatty acids. LysoPC regulated inflammation mediators, include cytokines, adhesion molecules (such as vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 [VCAM-1] and intercellular adhesion molecules-1 [ICAM-1]), and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) chemotactic. Darapladib is known as a Lp-PLA2 specific inhibitor. It is also considered to be an atherosclerosis treatment. The aim of this study is to know darapladib effect on VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 aorta expression in early stages of atherosclerosis using Sprague-Dawley Type 2 DM (T2DM) model.Methods: About 30 Spraque-Dawley rats are divided into three main groups: Normal, T2DM, and T2DM with darapladib administration group. Each group consists of 2 serials treatment time: 8 and 16 weeks treatment group. Fasting blood glucose, resistance insulin, and lipid profile were measured and analyzed to ensure T2DM model. VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 expression were measured using double staining immunofluorescence. Each data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA.Results: There is a significant difference in VCAM-1 expression in T2DM group (8 and 16 weeks), with p=0.011 and 0.034 (p<0.05), respectively. Mean while, a significant difference for ICAM-1 only showed in 8 weeks T2DM group with p=0.03 (p<0.05). Moreover, there is a decreasing trend in 16 weeks T2DM group.Conclusion: Our results showed that darapladib can decrease VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 aorta expression in early stages of atherosclerosis using Sprague- Dawley T2DM model. This showed another evidence of darapladib as atherosclerosis treatment

Studi Perilaku Keselamatan Kerja dalam Pengoperasian Mesin Percetakan pada Pekerja PT Masscom Graphy

Workplace accidents are caused due to unsafe working behaviors (unsafe act), such as not wearing PPE, not follow work procedures , do not follow the safety rules and work are not careful. Number of cases of occupational accidents that occurred during the last three months commencing in 2012 was higher than the previous year at the same time. The number of workplace accidents caused by unsafe behavior, the purpose of this research to study the behavior of safety in the operation of the printing machine workers at PT Masscom Graphy. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with indepth interviews. The subjects of this study were 3 people as key informants and triangulated 2 people as informants . The results showed that the K3 has a good knowledge . Attitude of key informants did not agree with the checklist form filling obligations, as well as the availability of safety PPE are still lacking. Perceptions of supervisor existence has no influence on the main informant in the practice of K3. From this study the behavior of key informants explained that in practice it does not ignore this aspect of the form K3 wear personal protective equipment, do not fill in a checklist form that corresponds to the work performed, as well as the availability of PPE that is still in the stage of procurement. The company is expected to facilitate trade with PPE
