A Comparative Study of the Decays in Standard Model and Supersymmetric Theories
Using improved theoretical calculations of the decay form factors in the
Light Cone-QCD sum rule approach, we investigate the decay rates, dilepton
invariant mass spectra and the forward-backward (FB) asymmetry in the decays () in the standard
model (SM) and a number of popular variants of the supersymmetric (SUSY)
models. Theoretical precision on the differential decay rates and FB-asymmetry
is estimated in these theories taking into account various parametric
uncertainties. We show that existing data on and the
experimental upper limit on the branching ratio provide interesting bounds on the coefficients of the underlying
effective theory. We argue that the FB-asymmetry in
constitutes a precision test of the SM and its measurement in forthcoming
experiments may reveal new physics. In particular, the presently allowed
large- solutions in SUGRA models, as well as more general
flavor-violating SUSY models, yield FB-asymmetries which are characteristically
different from the corresponding ones in the SM.Comment: 36 pages, 12 figures (require epsfig.sty), 8 Tables, LaTeX2e;

Kerajaan Sahulau: Melacak Fragmen Sejarah Yang Hilang, Potret Sejarah, Tutur Dan Arkeologi
One of countryside in middle Regency Maluku region, trusted by Moluccassociety as a empire secondhand in old world. That countryside is so called of Countryside Sahulau. In a few history note and say society, mentioning this empire represent big empire founded by somebody coming from so called Buton of La Ode Muna. This Figure is myth as a miraculous but his body is not perfect, his body human being like snake. History note mention this empire fall to pieces in the year 1858 when a period of/to Dutch occupying. But regional previously this represent a empire region of a period of Islam and Colonial. If previously assumed this empire have annihilate and nothing; there is no existence marking and also considered to be a missing history, hence archaeology mean to try to attend something that have disappeared the. Pursuant to archaeology data, there are some indication that Sahulau is true aim to secondhand a empire of a period of/to Colonial and Islam. Some foreign ceramic evidence, walk stick Sahulau supported by area sites, environmental condition and the social face of society culture which look cultural growth of old world life which still hold out. Small tread of archaeology though still very the and need continuation data minim, but can early making way to tread empire Sahulau history therewith [his/its] cultural dynamic
Pemodelan Tanaman Jarak Pagar (Jatropha Curcas L.) Berbasis Efisiensi Penggunaan Radiasi Surya, ketersediaan Air Dan Nitrogen(crop Modeling of Jarak Pagar (Jatropha Curcas L.) Based on Radiation Use Efficiency, water and Nitrogen Available)
A number of crop growth simulation models have been developed using the radiation use efficiency (RUE) concept to predict crop growth and yield in various environments. These models generally calculate daily biomass production as the product of the quantity of radiation intercepted and RUE. Besides that biomass production was deterimined by water and nitrogen available factor. So, this research was carried out to quantify the RUE, biomass and leaf area index on Jatropha under rainfall condition, four levels of nitrogen fertilizer (N) and two and three population densities (P) planted twice. The experiments used a systematic Nelder fan design with 9 spokes and 4 – 5 rings were conducted at SEAMEO-BIOTROP field experiment in 2007. Data from the first experiment were used for parameterization and calibration and the second experiment data for model validation. Based on parameterization, we found that RUE can prediction above ground biomass accumulation of Jatropha were 0.94 (r=0.83) g MJ-1 to 1.3 (r=0.75) g MJ-1. Water availability was between ψ=-30 kpa and ψ=-1.5 MPa for field capacity and wilting point, respectively. Nitrogen demand of root, stem, leaf and grain N were (Ndemr=0.75), (Ndems=0.60), (Ndeml=2.53), and (Ndemg=2.41), respectively. Validation showed that model can simulate crop growth and development of Jatropha
Efisiensi Penggunaan Radiasi Surya dan sebagai Dasar dalam Model Jarak Pagar(radiation Use Efficiency AS Basis The Crops Modeling Of Jatropha)
Plant growth interpretation in term of accumulated intercepted solar radiation and the radiation use efficiency (RUE) was used to study the growth and analysis of Jatropha (Jatropha curcas L.). A number of crop growth simulation models have been developed using the RUE concept to predict crop growth and yield in various environments. These models generally calculate daily biomass production as the product of the quantity of radiation intercepted and RUE. This research was carried out to quantify the RUE, biomass and leaf area index on Jatropha under rainfall condition, four levels of nitrogen fertilizer (N) and three population densities (P) planted twice. The experiments used a systematic Nelder fan design with 9 spokes and 4 – 5 rings were conducted at SEAMEO-BIOTROP field experiment in 2007. Data from the first experiment were used for parameterization and calibration and the second experiment data for model validation. Values of RUE were determined by nitrogen fertilizer and plant density. Based on parameterization, we found that RUE for prediction above ground biomass accumulation of Jatropha were 0.94 (r=0.83) g MJ-1 to 1.3 (r=0.75) g MJ-1. Validation between model prediction and field experimental data showed that model can simulate crop growth and development of Jatropha
Modeling comminution processes in ball mills as a canonical ensemble
A new approach to describe comminution processes in general ball mills as a
macroscopic canonical ensemble is proposed. Using hamiltonian method, the model
is able to take simultaneously into account the internal dynamics from
mechanical motions inside the vial and external effects like electromagnetic
and gravitational forces. Relevant physical observables are extracted using
statistical mechanics approach through partition function at finite
temperature. The method enables numerical calculation using Monte Carlo
technique to obtain, for instance particle number evolution in term of system
temperature. It is argued that the method is experimentally more verifiable
than the conventional approaches based on geometrical displacements. An example
of simulation for typical spex mill is also given.Comment: 16 pages, 7 figure
