Quantum logical gates with four-level SQUIDs coupled to a superconducting resonator
We propose a way for realizing a two-qubit controlled phase gate with
superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) coupled to a
superconducting resonator. In this proposal, the two lowest levels of each
SQUID serve as the logical states and two intermediate levels of each SQUID are
used for the gate realization. We show that neither adjustment of SQUID level
spacings during the gate operation nor uniformity in SQUID parameters is
required by this proposal. In addition, this proposal does not require the
adiabatic passage or a second-order detuning and thus the gate is much faster.Comment: 6 pages, 3 figure
Effects of Rashba spin-orbit coupling and a magnetic field on a polygonal quantum ring
Using standard quantum network method, we analytically investigate the effect
of Rashba spin-orbit coupling (RSOC) and a magnetic field on the spin transport
properties of a polygonal quantum ring. Using Landauer-Buttiker formula, we
have found that the polarization direction and phase of transmitted electrons
can be controlled by both the magnetic field and RSOC. A device to generate a
spin-polarized conductance in a polygon with an arbitrary number of sides is
discussed. This device would permit precise control of spin and selectively
provide spin filtering for either spin up or spin down simply by interchanging
the source and drain
Research and Developing on Intelligent Mobile Robot Remote Monitoring and Control System
AbstractIn this paper, combining intelligent mobile robot with wireless remote control technology, wireless network communication platform between mobile robot and computer is set up. By the platform, the function of wireless transmission data is achieved, and wok state of mobile robot is remote monitored and controlled. Accordingly, operator and robot run in line and complete heavy task in complex environment
Prevalence of Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus in Uygur and Han populations from the Urumqi and Kashgar regions of Xinjiang, China
Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is the infectious etiologic agent associated with Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS), primary effusion lymphoma, and multicentric Castleman disease. It has been shown that high KSHV prevalence and high incidence of both classic KS and AIDSassociated KS are found mostly among people of Uygur ethnicity in Xinjiang, while people of Han ethnicity in Xinjiang have a higher KSHV seroprevalence than those of other Han populations in mainland China. However, it is still unclear why there is such geographical and population variation in KSHV distribution in China. In this work, we focused on the populations in the Kashgar region and Urumqi area, where a total of 1294 research subjects were randomly selected to investigate the potential correlation between KSHV prevalence and different ethnicities in endemic areas of Xinjiang, and to determine risk factors that may affect KSHV infection rates or KS incidence. We identified a high seroprevalence of KSHV and high peripheral blood DNA infection in the general Uygur and Han populations in both Urumqi and Kashgar regions of Xinjiang, and determined that advancing age, low education level, and stationary population status affect KSHV infection rates. Further, KSHV-positive Uygur participants were shown to have higher prevalence of neutralizing antibodies and neutralizing antibody titers than KSHV-positive Han participants
Improving the security of multiparty quantum secret sharing against Trojan horse attack
We analyzed the security of the multiparty quantum secret sharing (MQSS)
protocol recently proposed by Zhang, Li and Man [Phys. Rev. A \textbf{71},
044301 (2005)] and found that this protocol is secure for any other
eavesdropper except for the agent Bob who prepares the quantum signals as he
can attack the quantum communication with a Trojan horse. That is, Bob replaces
the single-photon signal with a multi-photon one and the other agent Charlie
cannot find this cheating as she does not measure the photons before they runs
back from the boss Alice, which reveals that this MQSS protocol is not secure
for Bob. Finally, we present a possible improvement of the MQSS protocol
security with two single-photon measurements and six unitary operations.Comment: 4 pages, 2 figures; The revised version of the paper published in
