Çağdaş Uygur Edebiyatı Yazarlarından Ehtem Ömer ve Hikâyeleri

19. yüzyılın sonu ile 20. yüzyılın başlarında başlayan Çağdaş Uygur edebiyatı, kısa zamanda büyük gelişme göstererek önemli temsilciler yetiştirmiştir. Bu temsilcilerden biri de kaleme aldığı çok sayıda hikâyesi ile tanınan Ehtem Ömer’dir. Bu makalede, ilk olarak çağdaş Uygur hikâye yazarı Ehtem Ömer’in hayatı ve edebî kişiliği hakkında bilgi verilmiş, daha sonra da onun hikâyeleri vaka, zaman, mekân, şahıs kadrosu, anlatıcı tipleri, aktarma yöntemleri ve tema bakımından incelenmiştir. Makalenin amacı ise Çağdaş Uygur edebiyatının araştırılmasında, temel konuların belirlenmesinde, öykü tekniğinin incelenmesinde, özellikle Ehtem Ömer’in eserlerinden hareket ederek Uygur hikâyeciliğinin gelişme yollarının tespit ve tahliline katkıda bulunmaktır

The Effects of Material Properties on Building Performance

In recent earthquakes during the last two decades, severe damages have been occurred on the existing buildings in Turkey. Destructive earthquakes revealed that the existing building stock in urban regions is significantly vulnerable to seismic hazard. A large number of residential buildings located in regions of high seismicity require performance evaluation before the next big earthquake hits the region. In many earthquake resistant codes, several procedures are proposed to determine the building performance. The investigations on the damaged buildings show that material strengths are very important parameters on the building performance. In this study, material strengths’ effects on the building performance were investigated by using a nonlinear elastic analysis method

Ömer Ehtem as a writer of Contemporary Uyghur Literature and his stories.

Çin yönetiminde esaret ve baskı altında tam otuz üç yıl (1878-1911) geçiren Uygur halkı, XIX. yüzyıl ve XX. yüzyılda dünyada meydana gelen değişimlerden etkilenerek tekrar bağımsızlık mücadelesine girişmiş ve bu mücadele sonucunda Çağdaş Uygur Edebiyatının tohumları atılmaya başlamıştır. ?Çağdaş Uygur Edebiyatı Yazarlarından Ehtem Ömer ve Hikâyeleri? isimli bu çalışmanın amacı, Çağdaş Uygur Edebiyatının araştırılmasında, temel konuların belirlenmesinde, öykü tekniğinin incelenmesinde, özellikle Ehtem Ömer?in şahsında Uygur hikâyeciliğinin gelişme yollarının öğrenilmesine katkıda bulunmaktır. Çağdaş Uygur Edebiyatı yazarı Ethem Ömer?in öyküleri çok boyutlu kışkırtıcılığı, her türlü önyargıyı sorgulamak üzere tasarlanmış bilinçli bir edebî tezat stratejisidir. Onun öykülerinin karakterlerinin kimlik çelişkileri, etiketlerin isabetsizliğine dikkat çekerek okuru kendine özgülüğe ve bireyselliğe davet eder. Edebiyatın temel kutuplarının ebedi çarpışması olan beyazla siyah, aydınlıkla karanlık gibi zıtlıkları, öykülerde gri ve pastel renk tonlarıyla betimlemesi hakikatin basite indirgenemeyeceğine işaret eder. Bu bağlamda, dünya edebiyatından alıntılanmış fikirler Ethem Ömer?in öyküleri için özel önem taşımaktadır. Öykülere esin kaynağı olduğu düşünülen olaylar arasında kısmen somut ve soyut benzerliklerden yola çıkıldığında, anlamlı görünen bazı yapısal tezatlar da göze çarpar. Bu tezat stratejisi, sonuçta, sanıldığı gibi önyargılı değil, çoğulcu ve anti-sömürgecilik olarak değerlendirilebilir. Dolayısıyla Ehtem Ömer?in öykülerde ele aldığı konular, siyasal edebiyat türünün dünya edebiyatındaki büyük ustalarına yapılan bir ?şapka çıkarma? jestinden çok metinler arası cevap, nazire veya parodi sayılabilir. Bu çalışma sonucunda Ehtem Ömer?in kullandığı tekniklerin, seçtiği konuların, Çağdaş Uygur edebiyatında hikâyeciliğin gelişmesinde ne denli önemli olduğunu tespit ettik. Bu durum Uygur edebiyatında hikâyeciliğin göz ardı edilemez ilerlemesine katkıda bulunmak amacıyla, bu çalışmanın gerekliliğini ortaya koymaktadır. Nail braces as an alternative treatment for ıngrown toenails: Results from a comparison with the winograd technique

WOS: 000356836600021PubMed ID: 25937564Ingrown toenails are one of the most frequent nail disorders and can be treated with conservative or surgical approaches. Although discovered a long time ago, the available data are still very limited on the potential effectiveness of nail braces for ingrown toenail treatment. In the present retrospective study, we compared nail braces with surgical wedge excision using the Winograd technique with respect to the time to return to work, recurrence, interval to recurrence, and patient satisfaction. A total of 159 patients were divided into the nail brace (n = 74; mean age 29.51 + 8.48 years) and Winograd technique (n = 85; mean age 26.95 +/- 8.06 years) groups. In the nail brace group, the mean time to return to work (4.15 +/- 1.07 days) was significantly shorter than that in the Winograd technique group (13.8 +/- 2.26 days; p .05). A statistically significant difference was observed in the mean interval to recurrence (12.46 +/- 1.60 versus 13.24 +/- 2.48 months, respectively; p = .031). The progression-free follow-up periods for the nail brace and Winograd technique groups were 15.45 +/- 0.22 months (95% confidence interval 15.02 to 15.88) and 17.18 +/- 0.29 months (95% confidence interval 16.61 to 17.84), respectively. We have concluded that the use of nail braces is an appropriate alternative treatment of ingrown toenails with high patient satisfaction, fast recovery times, and a low recurrence rate
