    The role of spiritual well-being and coping skills in prediction of job satisfaction in nurses

    زمینه و هدف: شناسایی عوامل مرتبط با رضایت شغلی پرستاران به علت استرس زا بودن شغل‌ این افراد دارای اهمیت است. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی نقش بهزیستی معنوی و راهبردهای مقابله با استرس در پیش‌بینی رضایت شغلی پرستاران می باشد. روش بررسی: در این پژوهش توصیفی- تحلیلی که جامعه آماری آن را کلیه پرستاران (42 نفر مرد و 53 نفر زن) بیمارستان های امام خمینی و ارس شهرستان پارس آباد در سال 1392 تشکیل می دادند. تعداد 93 پرستار با روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب و وارد مطالعه شدند. برای جمع‌آوری اطلاعات از پرسشنامه های بهزیستی معنوی، راهبردهای مقابله با استرس و رضایت شغلی استفاده شد و نقش بهزیستی معنوی و راهبردهای مقابله با استرس در پیش بینی رضایت شغلی پرستاران بررسی و روابط بین متغیرها تعیین شد. یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد که بهزیستی معنوی و راهبردهای مقابله با استرس با رضایت شغلی رابطه دارند (01/0>P). به طوری که متغیر بهزیستی معنوی (30/0=β) و راهبردهای مقابله با استرس (23/0=β) قادر به پیش‌بینی رضایت شغلی پرستاران می باشند. نتیجه گیری: رضایت شغلی پرستاران توسط متغیرهای بهزیستی معنوی و راهبردهای مقابله با استرس قابل پیش بینی است؛ بنابراین پیشنهاد می‌شود که روانشناسان و مشاوران جهت بالا بردن میزان رضایت شغلی پرستاران، نقش بهزیستی معنوی و راهبردهای مقابله با استرس را مورد توجه قرار دهند

    The Effect of Mind Simulation Method on Reducing Stuttering and Communication Attitude

    Background and Aims Fluency disorder or stuttering is a Speech disorder in humans whose prevalence is higher at the ages before puberty. Mind simulation may be effective in reducing the severity of stuttering and some associated problems such as negative attitude towards communication. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effect of mind simulation method on reducing stuttering and improving communication attitude in children and adolescents with stuttering aged 7-16 years.Methods This is a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test/post-test/follow-up design. Participants were 30 children and adolescents with stuttering aged 7-16 years (9 females and 21 males) referred to a psychology clinic in 2020. They completed DeNil and Brutten’s communication attitude test-revised (CAT-R) and Riley’s Stuttering Severity Instrument- 4(SSI-4) in the pre-test stage. Then, they underwent treatment by the Mind Simulation method for three months. Immediately after and one month after treatment, they completed the CAT-R and SSI-4 questionnaires again. Repeated Measure Analysis of Variance and Friedman Test were used to analyze the collected data.Results There was a significant difference between pre-test, post-test, and follow-up phases in stuttering severity (P=0.0001) and communication attitude (P=0.0001). The severity of stuttering decreased in the post-test and follow-up phases compared to the pre-test phase, while communication attitude improved in the post-test phase compared to the pre-test phaseConclusion The mind simulation method can reduce stuttering and improve communication attitude in children and adolescents with stuttering

    The Effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on Increasing of Self-Efficacy and Improving of Addiction Symptoms among Drug Dependency Patients

    Introduction: The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavior therapy on increasing of self efficacy and improving of addiction symptoms among drug dependency patients. Method: For this purpose, 90 substance abusers were selected of private addiction center, Central Prison and drop in center by using of random sampling, and they were divided into two experimental (45 subjects) and witness groups (45 subjects) randomly. The members of experimental group were under 12 sessions of cognitive behavioral therapy by Carol method, and control group only have taken Methadone and other physical drugs. All participants at the beginning of research, during the study (after three months) and three months after treatment completed self-efficacy questionnaire and Maudsley addiction profile (Map) by a psychologist were assessed. The symptoms of addiction recovery and addiction treatment process. Results: Analysis of covariance indicated the treatment effectiveness and its maintenance on increasing of efficacy and reducing of the symptoms of Maudsley addiction profile. Conclusion: Cognitive behavior therapy is effective to increase self-efficacy and improve symptoms in substance abusers

    Effectiveness of precision teaching on reading ability of students with Reading learning disability

    Objective: The aim of the current research was to investigate the effectiveness of precision teaching on reading ability of students with learning disability.Method: The research method was semi- experimental with pretest – posttest design. Statistical population consisted of all the 3 rd grade elementary girl students with learning disability in city of Isfahan during 1389-1390 academic years. The sample consisted of 30 students with reading disability that were selected via Targeted sampling method and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. (15 experimental group and 15 controls). Research tool was a third grade reading test. Data obtained was analyzed by analysis of Covariance.Results: The results showed that the precision teaching is effective on reading ability.Conclusion and recommendations: Paying attention to precision teaching as a reading ability fundamental skill can be an effective approach in treatment of learning disability disorder
