Effect of KNO3 Molten Bath Na Enrichment on the Mechanical Performances of Ion-exchanged Soda-Lime-Silicate Glass

Systematic doping of pure molten KNO3 bath by sodium nitride was used to analyze the effect of salt poisoning on the mechanical performances of chemically tempered soda-lime-silicate float glass. The ion-exchange process appears partially influenced by the presence of limited amount of Na in the potassium nitride bath. The interdiffusion coefficient and the penetration depth of K are invariant for NaNO3 content up to 5 wt%; conversely, the surface concentration of potassium scales with the purity of the bath, and this accounts for different compressive residual stress. Nevertheless, the overall reinforcement associated to the final strength does not show clear dependence on the used bath mainly because of the large scatter in the surface flaws sizes, as typically observed in glass

Etude corrélative entre les paramètres morphologique et la performance sportive chez les haltérophiles de différentes catégories du poids

Le bute de Cette étude est de chercher à déterminer la relation entre les paramètres morphologiques d'une part, et les résultats sportifs en d'autre part et ça pour les différentes catégories du poids, qui étaient représentés par la catégorie légère, moyenne et la catégorie lourde. nous avons retrouvé des paramètres qui ont une corrélation avec la performance dans certaines catégorie du poids , par contre ces paramètres n’ont pas des corrélations avec la performance sportive pour d’autres catégorie du poids, ce qui confirme que ces paramètres est considéré comme un facteur important de différenciation morphologique entre les différentes catégorie du poids. Le poids corporel et de l'expérience pratique parmi les éléments communs entre les catégories du poids qui ont une corrélation significative avec les résultats sportives. ملخص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى البحث عن تحديد العلاقة بين المعايير المرفولوجية من جهة و النتائج الرياضية من جهة أخرى عند رباعي رفع الأثقال لمختلف الفئات الوزنية والتي تمثلت في الفئة الخفيفة، المتوسطة، والفئة الثقيلة. ومن خلال هذه الدراسة توصلنا إلى أنه يوجد اختلاف في العلاقة الارتباطية بين المعايير المرفولوجية والنتائج الرياضية من فئة وزنية إلى أخرى ما يدل عن أن هناك اختلافات وفروق فردية متباينة بين الفئات الوزنية الشيء الذي يجب أن يأخذ بعين الاعتبار في انتقاء، ترتيب وتصنيف الرباعين في فئاتهم الوزنية. وزن الجسم و خبرة الممارسة من بين العناصر المشتركة بين الفئات الوزنية والتي لها ارتباط كبير مع النتائج الرياضي

Structural Controls of Polymetal Mineralization in North Kashmar, Iran

It is part of the structural Darouneh fault zone and contains rhyolitic, andesitic, pyroclas t ic a n d lava flows . Based on results obtained fro m A F M and Miyashiro diagrams the igneous rocks class ified as a s ubalkaline and calcalkaline. From the data obtained the Ka s h mar strike-slip fault geometry (dis tribution of s hear fractures s uc h a s R,Ró ,P s urfaces , Riedel structures ) plays an important role in controlling the location and emplacement of polymetal mineralization of cop per, lead and zinc ore depos its . The Rie del structure which was obs erved along the northern border of Darouneh fault in d ic a t es a top-west sense of motion. Similar s tructures were obs erved along the southern border o f T a n o u rcheh fault as well. In alterated regions along R, Ró and P surfaces , intrus ion of plutonic roc ks into volcanic rocks have caus ed the develop me n t o f p ropylytic, argillic and s ilis ic hydrothermal alteration, hos ting copper, gold, lead and zinc ore depos its . To s how that the obs erved s hear fracture s urfaces are indeed not significantly different from class ical Riedel s hear pattern a fractal analys is has been done to compare field obs ervations and class ical Riedel s hear pattern. The result shows that the estimated fractal dimens ion for s chematic Riedel is about 1.17, which is in agreement with fra c tal dimens ion of field measurement

What is the Human Sciences

The so−called "Social Sciences" today inherit the Scottish and French philosophical tradition. Classical German philosophers referred to what their French counterparts understood as the social sciences, under the headings "Historical Science", "Geisteswissenschaften" or "Moral Sciences". All of this predates the so−called "Moral Philosophy". All of this shows the difference in perspective that these views have taken on the nature of human. From the point of view of Wilhelm Dilthey, the Human Sciences are Historical Sciences because he understood human as a historical being. On the other hand, others, because they considered human as a Voluntary creature, therefore, portrayed the field of Human Sciences as the realm of will and morality. Gadamer, therefore, consider Human Science to be the legacy of Aristotelian Phronesis. From the point of view of this article, although the focus on Aristotelian Practical Wisdom cannot bring much to Human Sciences, but another period of Practical Wisdom has been formed in the space of Muslim thinkers, which, in addition to preserving the name of Practical Wisdom, has changed its identity in general. That was the cornerstone of the law of human action in the knowledge of Practical Wisdom; A universal law that promoted practical wisdom from the study of the virtuous to the knowledge of recognizing the human world and the world of morality, and thus established itself as the great ancestor of the Human Sciences

Comparing the Efficiency of Intelligent Hybrid Operator Assistance Software with Intuitive Set-up (OASIS) for Assembly Production Line

Pick-To-Light Order Picking System is the operational process when an operator begins to pick the parts in a sequential manner by which the quantity of the parts is recorded. The design of an effective hybrid order picking process in an assembly line is assisted by an intelligent sensing system to improve pick efficiency, accuracy and increase productivity. This research compares between intelligent hybrid order picking versus order picking with pick confirmation system at parts assembly line. The results show that by our proposed system with the elimination of certain steps within the picking process, the better efficiency, accuracy, fewer miss-picks will occur in the system and the operator can perform more intelligently with required picking quantities. The development of this system can provide a low-cost solution with an intelligent order picking system for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and a fast-moving production assembly line in manufacturing

Lived Experiences of Cardiac Pacemaker Patients

Introduction: Permanent cardiac pacemaker implantation, and introducing a foreign body into the heart, a part of the human anatomy that symbolically represents emotions, may be considered a major life event. Therefore, it is recommended that the healthcare team gain understanding of the experience of pacemaker patients and present information based on patients’ experiences in order to actively involve the patients in the administration and management of their illness process. The aim of this qualitative study is to explore the patients' experiences of living with a permanent cardiac pacemaker. Method: In this study, descriptive phenomenological method and the Colaizzi`s proposed stages were used. Purposeful sampling of patients with single and dual chamber cardiac pacemakers was performed. Overall, 13 interview sessions were held with 10 participants. The minimum duration of an interview was 35 minutes and the maximum 54 minutes. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Results: The emerging themes according to the qualitative data are embedded in the Iranian socio-cultural context. They consist of five themes: living with pacemaker, pacemaker identity, balance in control, consequences and relief. Conclusion: The findings of this study, as a small image of the large and complex world, can be used in order to design and implement effective care for pacemaker patients. Having a clearer understanding of these patients’ experiences will help healthcare workers to design supportive and caring programs that will meet these patients’ needs more holistically.
