Karakteristik Dosimter Dari Batu Agate Untuk Dosimeter Dosis Tinggi
Seperti batu mulia lainnya, seperti jesper,
amethyst, topaz, jade and onyx, Agate pada umumnya memiliki komposisi kimia
SiO2.
level ppm) didalam batuan agate, seperti Uranium (U), Stibium (Sb), Cesium (Cs)
dan Hafnium (Hf). Elemen radioaktif berdampak terhadap performan dari
dosimeter. Agate abu-abu gelap memiliki kandungan radioaktif yang besar
diantara empat material lainnya.
thermoluminescene dosimeter (TLD). ========== Indonesia is a countrist having abundant potential natural resources
including precious stones. One’s of the precious stones is agate, that is often used
as jewelry .As any other precious stones, such as jasper, amethyst, topaz, jade and
onyx, agate mainly consists of SiO2 chemical compound. The formerly mentioned
stones have been reported as high dose dosimeter. however experiment using
agate stone as a material for dosimeter was rarely reported. Therefore in this
research different colored agate stones from Borneo mines were powdered and
mixed with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE/teflon) to be applied as a high dose
dosimeter. Brown agate, dark yellow agate, grey agate, and dark grey agate were
used as dosimeter materials. The mixture was then compacted into pellets with a
diameter of 4 mm and annealed at 200°C, 300°C and 400°C for 1 hour. The
pellets were then exposed to high dose radiation of 0.1 kGy, 1 kGy, and 10 kGy
using 60Co radiation source. These Dosimeter materials have been characterized
by XRD, SEM, FTIR, EDXS, and NAA. The correlations between material
structures and dosimetric characteristics were then analyzed.
Based on the resulted data XRD and EDAX confirmed the chemical
content of agate stones was SiO2. The NAA could detect the presences of small
amount of radioactive elements (in level of ppm) in the agate stones, such as
Uranium (U), Stibium (Sb), Cesium (Cs) and Hafnium (Hf). The radioactive
elements were responsible for the dosimetric performance of the dosimeter. Dark
grey agate had the highest radioactive contents among the four samples.
Therefore, it showed the highest sensitivity and response towards radiation.
Besides it also showed the smallest coefficient variation (CV) and residual value
making it suitable for thermoluminescent dosimeter (TLD)
ANALISIS KEPUASAN DAN KEBUTUHAN PENGGUNA LULUSAN INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI KALIMANTAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE RATING SCALE
In the world of work, the quality of employees is very concerned about supporting smooth work. Companies definitely choose prospective employees who have the qualities that the company expects. because of this, universities are required to develop soft skills that are balanced with hard skills. In addition to the quality of graduates, universities must also know the needs of companies and adjust to DUDI (world of work and industry). This will have an impact on graduates who will enter the world of work. The better the name of the college, the greater the opportunity for college graduates to join the company. Keywords: Quality of Graduates, Satisfaction, and Company Needs
