Research on the Teaching Design Ability of Mathematics Normal Students in Local Normal Universities in China
In order to ensure the smooth development of future work, normal university students must constantly improve their ability of teaching design. This paper uses text analysis method to study the teaching design ability of mathematics normal college students. This paper investigates the mathematics teaching design ability of normal university students from six aspects: overall teaching design, teaching objectives, key points and difficult points of teaching, teaching process, homework arrangement after class and teaching reflection. The results show that the students' overall understanding of teaching design is slightly biased, and the ability of compiling teaching objectives is not ideal, they are able to grasp the key and difficult points in teaching, but unable to put forward how to deal with the key and difficult points in teaching; The teaching process design is also deficient; Normal university students do not pay attention to homework assignment and teaching reflection. Finally, the paper puts forward some suggestions on the development of teaching design ability of mathematics normal university students. Weighted allocations, their concomitant-based estimators, and asymptotics
Various members of the class of weighted insurance premiums and risk capital
allocation rules have been researched from a number of perspectives.
Corresponding formulas in the case of parametric families of distributions have
been derived, and they have played a pivotal role when establishing parametric
statistical inference in the area. Non-parametric inference results have also
been derived in special cases such as the tail conditional expectation,
distortion risk measure, and several members of the class of weighted premiums.
For weighted allocation rules, however, non-parametric inference results have
not yet been adequately developed. In the present paper, therefore, we put
forward empirical estimators for the weighted allocation rules and establish
their consistency and asymptotic normality under practically sound conditions.
Intricate statistical considerations rely on the theory of induced order
statistics, known as concomitants.Comment: 20 page
Coordination mechanism of SaaS service supply chain: based on compensation contracts
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to build new contracts theories of SaaS service supply chain. Software as a Service (SaaS) has become a hot topic in this industry . Compared with traditional manufacturing supply chain and general service supply chain, the new IT service supply chain which based on SaaS has characteristics of both service and IT. And SaaS is completely different from traditional software package model. Therefore the classic contracts, which be widely used in traditional manufacturing supply chain, canât be directly applied in SaaS service supply chain. The necessary way of IT services developing is to study the SaaS service supply chain combining with characteristics of SaaS. Therefore, It focuses on the coordination of SaaS service supply chain.
Design/methodology/approach: It tries to answer the following question: how do the ISV motivate SaaS operators to improve the service level through effective contracts mechanism under conditions of asymmetric information. In order to answer these questions, this paper does some researches including: Under the conditions of information asymmetry, supposing the service level (is related to the degree of effort) of SaaS operator was private information, we construct model of compensation contract, i.e., to motivate SaaS operator to improve service level through transfer payments of compensation price.
Findings and Originality/value: The study finds out that when ISV get to âpositive feedbackâ, instead of the traditional market equilibrium, compensation contract (linear) can coordinate satisfactorily the SaaS service supply chain. In the point of âpositive feedbackâ, the marginal revenue equals the marginal cost, but it is not the equilibrium of ISVâprofit-maximization.
Research limitations/implications: There are some limitations in this research. In the linear compensation contracts, the compensation price is fixed value. If in the contract, we can create a change value which is related to the sales volume of service, the coordination efficiency of compensation will be increased. And in the future, the nonlinear compensation contracts should be researched.
Practical implications: In the practical implication, it will promote the development of study and practice of SaaS and IT service industry. And it is beneficial to ISV, platform operators and customers.
Originality/value: From the theoretical perspective, this paper put forward some new contracts and motivating mechanism for effective coordination of SaaS service supply chain and the conclusion will enrich content of service supply chain theory system. In theory, it has more significance for further researching on SaaS and service supply chain.Peer Reviewe
Next-Generation Sequencing of MicroRNAs for Breast Cancer Detection
It is reported that different microRNA (miRNA) profiles can be detected in the blood of cancer patients. We investigated that whether the key serum miRNAs could discriminate patients with and without breast cancer. This study was divided into three parts: (1) miRNA marker discovery using SOLiD sequencing-based miRNA profiling on cancerous and adjacent noncancerous breast tissue of one breast cancer patient; (2) marker selection and validation by real-time PCR on a small set of serum; (3) gene ontology analysis of the key miRNA target genes. Of genome-wide tissue miRNA expression analysis, five miRNAs were found to be altered more than fivefold by SOLiD sequencing (i.e., miR-29a, miR-23a, miR-23b, miR-192, and miR-21). All the five miRNAs were validated on the 20 breast cancer patients and 20 controls. miR-29a and miR-21 were significantly increased in the serum of breast cancer patients (P < .05). Gene ontology analysis of the target genes revealed enrichment for special biological process categories, that is, signal transduction, development, apoptosis, cell proliferation, and cell adhesion. SOLiD sequencing provides a promising method for cancer-related miRNA profiling. Serum miRNAs may be useful biomarkers for breast cancer detection
Effects of a New Combination Fresh-keeping Storage Method on Quality and Shelf-life Prediction for Fresh-cutting Ginseng Slices
Objective: In order to explore a new compound fresh-keeping storage method and predict the shelf life of fresh ginseng-cutting slices. Method: Fresh ginseng slices were treated by acidic electrolyzed-oxidizing water sterilization, vacuum packaging and low temperature plasma sterilization, and then stored at â2, 4, 25 and 36 â, respectively. The color, moisture content, ginsenoside Rg1, Re, Rb1 content and total flora number of fresh ginseng slices were measured every 15 days, and established the dynamic model in fresh ginseng slices during storage. Results: The combined preservation technology of fresh cucumber slice was determined as follows: Acidic electrolyzed-oxidizing water treatmentâvacuum packagingâlow temperature plasma treatmentâlow temperature storage. Storaged at â2 and 4 â effectively inhibited the increase of total flora number and decrease of water content, and delayed the change of color of fresh ginseng slices. After 60 days of storage, the contents of ginsenoside Rg1, Re and Rb1 in fresh ginseng slices increased. The shelf-life prediction model of fresh ginseng slices was established by the first order reaction kinetics model based on the total number of colonies and the Arrhenius equation. Conclusion: Establish the best combined fresh-keeping storage method of fresh ginseng slices. The combined fresh-keeping storage can effectively inhibit the quality deterioration of fresh ginseng slices and prolong their shelf life
Pattern Formation in a Bacterial Colony Model
We investigate the spatiotemporal dynamics of a bacterial colony model. Based on the stability analysis, we derive the conditions for Hopf and Turing bifurcations. Furthermore, we present novel numerical evidence of time evolution of patterns controlled by parameters in the model and find that the model dynamics exhibit a diffusion controlled formation growth to spots, holes and stripes pattern replication, which show that the bacterial colony model is useful in revealing the spatial predation dynamics in the real world
Piezoelectric Wireless Power Transfer using Halbach Array for the Internet of Implanted Things
Implanted devices are increasingly used in chronic disease monitoring, but face challenges in energy autonomy. The paper presents a novel wireless power transfer method for self-sustained medical implants using Halbach array-based magnetic plucking and piezoelectric transduction. The wearableimplantable coupled system consists of a piezoelectric receiver within the implant to receive power and a near-field magnetic power transmitter as a wearable device. To deliver power over greater distances through the human body, the transmitter features a rotating magnetic Halbach array powered by a miniature motor or by human motion to generate an alternating magnetic field. The use of low-frequency rotating magnetic fields periodically excites a cantilevered piezoelectric beam with a tip magnet to realize wireless power transfer. A theoretical model that includes magnetic coupling, piezoelectric transduction and receiver beam dynamics has been established to study the electromagneto-mechanical dynamics of this wireless power transfer system. The effectiveness of the Halbach array for extended power transfer is examined through theoretical modelling and numerical simulation, showing a 37.2% enhancement of the magnetic forces. A prototype was also fabricated and tested to examine the wireless power transfer performance. The established wireless power link can provide sufficient power (âŒ32 ”W) over a large transmission distance (22 mm), providing a potential batteryfree solution for the self-sustained Internet of Implanted Things (IoIT) for personalized healthcare
ABCC3 as a marker for multidrug resistance in non-small cell lung cancer
Multidrug resistance (MDR) contributes to the failure of chemotherapy and high mortality in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We aim to identify MDR genes that predict tumor response to chemotherapy. 199 NSCLC fresh tissue samples were tested for chemosensitivity by MTT assay. cDNA microarray was done with 5 samples with highest resistance and 6 samples with highest sensitivity. Expression of ABCC3 mRNA and protein was detected by real-time PCR and immunohistochemisty, respectively. The association between gene expression and overall survival (OS) was examined using Cox proportional hazard regression. 44 genes were upregulated and 168 downregulated in the chemotherapy-resistant group. ABCC3 was one of the most up-regulated genes in the resistant group. ABCC3-positive expression correlated with lymph node involvement, advanced TNM stage, more malignant histological type, multiple-resistance to anti-cancer drugs, and reduced OS. ABCC3 expression may serve as a marker for MDR and predictor for poor clinical outcome of NSCLC
Isolation and characterization of the mink interferon-epsilon gene and its antiviral activity
The interferon (IFN) response is the first line of defense against viral invasion and thus plays a central role in the regulation of the immune response. IFN-epsilon (IFN-Δ) is a newly discovered type I IFN that does not require viral induction, unlike other type I IFNs. IFN-Δ is constitutively expressed in epithelial cells and plays an important role in mucosal immunity. In this study, we evaluated the biological activity of the mink-IFN (MiIFN)-Δ gene in prokaryotic cells. Quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to evaluate IFN-Δ expression in different mink tissues. MiIFN-Δ was highly expressed in brain, lung, tracheal, kidney, intestinal, bladder, ovarian, and testis tissues. There was no significant difference in MiIFN-Δ expression between female and male minks, except in the reproductive system. Expression of the small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO3)-MiIFN-Δ fusion gene was induced by isopropylÎČ-d-thiogalactoside, and MiIFN-Δ was collected after SUMO-specific protease digestion. We tested the antiviral activity of MiIFN-Δ against vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV) in epithelial cells of feline kidney 81 (F81). We used qRT-PCR to analyze the expression of several IFN-stimulated genes (ISGs), including ISG15, 2âČ-5âČ oligoadenylate synthetase (2âČ-5âČOAS1), and myxovirus resistance protein 1 (Mx1). Recombinant IFN-Δ induced high ISG expression in F81 cells. Compared with those in the cell control group, expressions of ISG15, Mx1, and 2âČ-5âČ OAS1 in the VSV-GFP control, IFN-Δ, and MiIFN-Δ-inhibited VSV-GFP groups were significantly increased. Compared with those in the VSV-GFP control group, expressions of ISG15 and 2âČ-5âČ OAS1 in the IFN-Δ and MiIFN-Δ-inhibited VSV-GFP groups were significantly increased, and the differences were highly significant (p < 0.0001). IFN-Δ played an indirect antiviral role. These findings lay the foundation for detailed investigation of IFN-Δ in the future
