    Game ā€œHaloā€ is an RPG game that tells a tale of the player as they live their life as a new student at FTI UNTAR. This game is developed using Unity3D game engine and Dialoguer add-on to create RPG-themed dialogues. Player takes the role of a new FTI UNTAR that must fulfill the task of re-registration at UNTAR. In this game, the player have to do sequences of events in order to finish the game. The method of testing that were used are blackbox testing, alpha testing by the advisors and beta testing by using a survey of 34 players. The result of the tests showed that ā€œHaloā€ already depicted UNTAR situation especially, FTI UNTAR, but it\u27s still lacking on the visual design and user input on character namin

    Game Summoner's Quest adalah game yang ber-genre Tower Defense. Game ini dibuat dengan tujuan memberikan pengalaman baru pada pemain dengan mengimplementasikan fitur touch gesture recognizer. Game ini mempunyai tampilan berbentuk dua dimensi dan dimainkan dengan menggunakan Smartphone berbasis Android. Game ini dibuat menggunakan Unity dengan C# sebagai bahasa pemrograman. Pemain harusmenghancurkan base musuh dengan menggambar simbol pada layar untuk mengeluarkan prajurit yang akan mengalahkan monster-monster musuh yang melindungi base musuh. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox, alpha testing, dan beta testing melalui survei pada 40 responden. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa fitur menggambar simbol pada game Summoner's Quest membuat gameplaygame ini menjadi unik dan menarik sehingga pemain tertarik untuk bermain lagi

    Game ā€œFSNā€ adalah game flying 2D yang memiliki genre shoot ā€˜em up yang menggunakan webcam sebagai game kontroller untuk menggerakkan sebuah pesawat yang dikendalikan untuk menghancurkan atau menembak musuh. Permainan ini dibuat menggunakan game engine Adobe Flash dan plug-in camspace untuk mendeteksi objek yang digunakan. Pemain akan menggerakkan sebuah pesawat utama dan harus menembaki musuh agar mendapatkan nilai atau skor yang diperoleh, untuk menyelesaikan permainan, pesawat utama harus mengalahkan bos musuh. Apabila pesawat utama menabrak musuh atau kehabisan darah yang dimiliki pesawat utama, maka permainan akan berakhir. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode blackbox, alpha testing oleh pembimbing, dan beta testing melalui survei 30 pengguna.     The evolution of the thermoelectric power S(T) with doping, p, of single-layer Bi2Sr2CuO6+d ceramics in the strongly overdoped region is studied in detail. Analysis in term of drag and diffusion contributions indicates a departure of the diffusion from the T-linear metallic behavior. This effect is increased in the strongly overdoped range (p~0.2-0.28) and should reflect the proximity of some topological change.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure

    Game Visual Novel Halo adalah sebuah game yang menampilkan kegiatan akademik di FTI Untar berikut fasilitas yang tersedia. Game ini dibuat dengan menggunakan Unity3D. Game ini mensimulasikan kegiatan akademik untuk mahasiswa baru dengan informasi foto di kampus dan karakter yang melayani mahasiswa. Terdapat 2 jenis permainan yang ditawarkan, yaitu top-down RPG oleh Julio Alexander (535100001) dan Visual Novel. Metode testing yang dipakai adalah metode alpha testing dan beta testing. Alpha testing dilakukan bersama dengan pembimbing, sementara beta testing dilakukan kepada 34 responden mahasiswa baru. Hasil dari pengujian adalah game sudah dapat diterima dengan baik walaupun harus ada perbaikan yang tidak signifikan

    Two-Dimensional Infrared Spectroscopy of Antiparallel Ī²-Sheet Secondary Structure

    We investigate the sensitivity of femtosecond Fourier transform two-dimensional infrared spectroscopy to protein secondary structure with a study of antiparallel Ī²-sheets. The results show that 2D IR spectroscopy is more sensitive to structural differences between proteins than traditional infrared spectroscopy, providing an observable that allows comparison to quantitative models of protein vibrational spectroscopy. 2D IR correlation spectra of the amide I region of poly-L-lysine, concanavalin A, ribonuclease A, and lysozyme show cross-peaks between the IR-active transitions that are characteristic of amide I couplings for polypeptides in antiparallel hydrogen-bonding registry. For poly-L-lysine, the 2D IR spectrum contains the eight-peak structure expected for two dominant vibrations of an extended, ordered antiparallel Ī²-sheet. In the proteins with antiparallel Ī²-sheets, interference effects between the diagonal and cross-peaks arising from the sheets, combined with diagonally elongated resonances from additional amide transitions, lead to a characteristic ā€œZā€-shaped pattern for the amide I region in the 2D IR spectrum. We discuss in detail how the number of strands in the sheet, the local configurational disorder in the sheet, the delocalization of the vibrational excitation, and the angle between transition dipole moments affect the position, splitting, amplitude, and line shape of the cross-peaks and diagonal peaks.

    Gravitational Waves From Known Pulsars: Results From The Initial Detector Era

    We present the results of searches for gravitational waves from a large selection of pulsars using data from the most recent science runs (S6, VSR2 and VSR4) of the initial generation of interferometric gravitational wave detectors LIGO (Laser Interferometric Gravitational-wave Observatory) and Virgo. We do not see evidence for gravitational wave emission from any of the targeted sources but produce upper limits on the emission amplitude. We highlight the results from seven young pulsars with large spin-down luminosities. We reach within a factor of five of the canonical spin-down limit for all seven of these, whilst for the Crab and Vela pulsars we further surpass their spin-down limits. We present new or updated limits for 172 other pulsars (including both young and millisecond pulsars). Now that the detectors are undergoing major upgrades, and, for completeness, we bring together all of the most up-to-date results from all pulsars searched for during the operations of the first-generation LIGO, Virgo and GEO600 detectors.
