    High-pressure DC resistance of ZrO₂

    No full text
The resistance and thermoelectromotive force (TEMF) of Y₂O₃-stabilized ZrO₂ have been investigated in the pressure and temperature range between 15 and 50 GPa, and 77 and 400 K, respectively. At a pressure of about 35 GPa the resistance of the sample decreases by 3-4 orders of magnitude. At a pressure of about 42 GPa the anomalies in the pressure dependence of the resistance, TEMF and of the parameters which depend on the concentration, mobility, and activation energy of the charge carriers were found

Le diagramme p-T de phase de l'oxygène liquide et solide a été établi dans l'intervalle de température 6 - 300 K et pour des pressions allant jusqu'à 14 GPa au moyen de l'effet Raman. The p-T phase diagram of liquid and solid oxygen in the temperature range from 6 - 300 K and pressures up to 14 GPa has been determined by Raman scattering

GAS PHASE RAMAN SPECTRUM OF TCNQ AND PRESSURE DEPENDENCE OF THE MODES IN CRYSTALS OF TNCQ°

    No full text
The Raman spectrum of gaseous TCNQ was obtained. Vibrations were detected at 40, 76, 145, 340, 1225, 1454, 1606 and 2230 (± 2) cm-1. The pressure dependence of the Raman modes in crystals of TCNQ, TTF, K(TCNQ), CS2(TCNQ)3 perylene-TCNQ and phenazine-TCNQ, were obtained in a diamond cell in the pressure range 0 to 70 Kbar. The mode Gruneisen parameter were found to span several orders of magnitude. It is concluded that all of the observed low frequency modes in this class of compounds are mixed modes of internal and external characters
