    Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Untuk Meningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa

    This study aims to produce problem based learning kits which are valid, and effective to improve the  science process skills. This study was a research and development (R&D). The development was made by adapting the development model by Borg and Gall consisting of seven development stages: (1) preliminary investigation, (2) planning, (3) preliminary product arrangement,(4) product validation (5) small group tryout, (6) field tryout, and (7) dissemination. The tryout subjects in this study were 40 students. The details of those students were 11 students for small group tryout, 28 students as the experimental group and the other 29 students as the control group. The experimental group was taught using problem based learning kits, while the control group using learning kits that already exist. The data were collected through product validation sheets, classroom observation sheets, students questionnaires, science process skills test and science process skills observation sheets. The results show that the developed problem based learning kits  are valid and effective to improve students science process skills. The study validation showed the kits are excellent, with an average score of 4.52. The tryout results shows that the kits at the level of practicality on small groups and field are very good showing that 87.90% learning process is well done on small groups , while on the field tryout is 97.22%. The kits are effective to improve science process skills based on the comparison of the experiment and control classes.  &nbsp

    Students' Descriptive Writing Performance: The Analytic Scoring Assessment USAge

    This study explores students' performance in descriptive writing. Forty-five English Education sophomore students participated to be the respondents. The data were collected from students' descriptive writing performance using a 5-Likert scale and they were quantitatively analyzed through the descriptive and factor analysis tests. Students' descriptive writing were measured through the means of components of grammar, punctuation, coherence, cohesion, and content. Other substantial findings corresponded with the principal component analyses that determined the presence of 5 components with the eigenvalue outreaching 1, positioning 31%, 27.3%, 19.7%, 12.6%, and 9.4% of the variances accordingly. This referred to the factorial analysis that claimed 2 extracted components with a total of 58.32% of the variance. The component 1 was 31.00% and component 2 was 27.32%. The interpretation of these components is coherent with the pilot results on the descriptive writing performance scale, in which the component 1 shows the positive affect items and the component 2 partially indicates the negative affect items

    The study aims to determine the influence of coating and composition of raw materials to physical and mechanical properties of composite board from singkong trunk and plastic waste and to know the best treatment. Composite board size was 30 cm x 30 cm x 1 cm. The plastic waste function as an adhesive and mix in three layer of composite board. The face and back layer consist of 15% and  in the core consist of 70% with a target density of 0,7 g/cm3. This study used factorial experiment in a random design complete with 2 factors. The factor consist of factor coating which consists of 2 subfaktor (coating with veneer and without veneer) and factor composition (singkong trunk: plastic waste) which consists of 3 subfaktor 40:60, 50:50, and 60:40. The pressure was done with hot press temperature 180 ºC for 10 minute with pessure ± 25 kg/cm². Evaluation the quality of physical and mechanical properties to standard JIS A 5908-2003. The result of research showed that all the composite board can fulfill the standard JIS A 5908-2003, except on MOE value of the composite  board of coating with without veneer. The best value of composite board was achieved on composition 60% singkong  trunk and 40% plastic waste with, coating veneer.     Perbandingan Metode CF Dan K-NN Untuk Identifikasi Warna Pada Robot Soccer

    Robot soccer adalah salah satu divisi dari Kontes Robot Cerdas Indonesia (KRCI). Tugas robot ini adalah bermain bola berdasarkan rule standar Internasional yang telah ditetapkan organisasi RoboCup. Sesuai dengan rule pertandingan robot soccer, bahwa warna setiap objek yang berada dalam lapangan pertandingan memiliki warna tertentu. Objek-objek yang dimaksud adalah bola, gawang, garis-garis putih, dan warna lapangan itu sendiri. Pada penelitian ini objek yang diteliti adalah bola (orange) dan gawang (kuning). Tingkat akurasi dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengidentifikasi menjadi pertimbangan dalam mendisain fungsi vision robot soccer. Penelitian ini digunakan dua metode untuk mengidentifikasi warna objek pada robot soccer yaitu Color Filtering (CF) dan k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) untuk mengklasifikasi warna per-pixel dalam citra, kemudian dilanjutkan deteksi objek, mencari titik pusat koordinat dan pengukuran jarak objek dengan aksi scanning dan tracking. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan waktu komputasi dengan CF adalah 0,097 detik dan k-NN adalah 0,27 detik, sedangkan rerata error estimasi jarak bola dengan rentang pengukuran 10 cm sampai dengan 360 cm menggunakan CF adalah 6,02% dan k-NN 7,19%.Kata Kunci—Robot Soccer, k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN), Color Filtering

    The focus of research in this study is the Learning Management students with a research focus in particular are: 1.Guru prepare lesson plans, 2.Guru implement learning interaction, 3.Guru assess learners teaching and learning interactions, 4.Guru provide follow-up assessment of learning outcomes , 5.Guru give guidance to students. The research method in this thesis is descriptive, with data collection using interviews, questionnaires and observation and data collection tool interview, questionnaire and observation data of Teacher Activity Plan. Conclusion: 1.Guru who teach 59% make Daily Activity Plan. 2. Teacher in implementing the learning interaction with students, 97% could mention the potential and shortcomings of learners. 3. Teachers assess (evaluate) learning interaction with participants didik.Hasil research shows there are only 3% teacher evaluation sheet that shows the assessment during the learning process. 4.     The purpose of this study is to test and develop a brand trust model with brand loyalty as a mediator of the relationship between brand trust and brand performance on Pond’s cleansing detergent in the Faculty of Economics, Jenderal Soedirman University, Indonesia.     Ketersediaan bahan bakar fosil yang makin menipis jumlahnya menjadi pemicu bagi para peneliti untuk mengeksploarasi bahan bakar alternative terbaru-kan. Biodisel merupakan salah satu bahan bakar aternatif yang banyak dikembangkan, mulai dari teknologi, proses maupun bahan bakunya. Bahan baku yang sering digunakan berasal dari sawit, kelapa, zaitun, kanola maupun alpokat yang jika digunakan terus menerus akan menimbulkan masalah baru dibidang pangan. Minyak sisa pakai yang masih mengandung asam lemak menjadi salah satu bahan yang potensial sebagai bahan baku biodisel. Penggunaan katalis heterogen (Ba(OH)2.8H2O)pada variasi ukuran (25 dan 60 mesh) dan waktu reaksi (80–120 menit) sangat mempengaruhi biodisel yang dihasilkan. Biodisel dengan karakteristik terbaik didapatkan pada waktu reaksi selama 100 menit dengan ukuran katalis 60 mesh. Yield metil ester yang dihasilkan sebesar 86,8%
