Educación en la Farmacia Cruz Verde de Neiva para Favorecer el uso Racional de Antibióticos en Niños Menores de 6 Años

no aplicaEsta investigación se realizó con el fin de educar en el uso racional de antibióticos a los padres de los menores de 6 años, de igual manera se efectuó capacitación al personal de la farmacia Cruz Verde, se brindó información se informó a los usuarios en temas con la administración de medicamentos , dosis adecuada , almacenamiento correcto de los antibióticos con la finalidad de mitigar el riesgo de eventos adversos y efectos secundarios en los menores de 6 años en la farmacia Cruz Verde de Neiva .Según los usuarios las infecciones más frecuentes en las que se requieren antibióticos son las infecciones por vías respiratorias, el 33,3% expone que son las infecciones de garganta y oídos, el 22,2% opina que son las infecciones urinarias y la sinusitis. Cuando se automedican con antibióticos se puede presentar las Reacciones Adversas a Medicamentos (RAM), y que la bacteria genere resistencia al medicamento, pudiendo ser complejas y en ocasiones imposible de tratar. Para esta investigación se utilizó como metodología de recolección de datos encuesta online al regente de farmacia y a los padres de niños menores de 6 años, luego de la tabulación de datos y análisis de los resultados se pudo concluir para el 55,6% de los encuestados el uso racional de los antibióticos es aquel que debe ser evaluado siempre por un profesional sanitario con capacidad para prescribirlos, el 33,33% opino que los antibióticos funcionan como bactericidas, el 33,3% respondieron que las infecciones más frecuentes en las que se requieren antibióticos son las infecciones por vías respiratorias, el 50% expreso que el uso indebido de los antibióticos se debe a la falta de conocimiento sobre cómo usar adecuadamente el antibiótico. After tabulating the data and analyzing the results, it was possible to conclude for 55.6% of the respondents. the rational use of antibiotics is one that should always be evaluated by a health professional with the capacity to prescribe them, 33.33% believe that antibiotics work as bactericides, 33.3% responded that the most frequent infections in which they are require antibiotics are respiratory tract infections, 50% express that the misuse of antibiotics is due to lack of knowledge on how to properly use the antibiotic.
