In this paper, the cubic B-spline collocation scheme is implemented to find numerical solution of diffusion convection problem of chemical engineering. The scheme is based on the Crank–Nicolson formulation for time integration and cubic B-spline functions for space integration. The numerical results are found to be in good agreement with the exact solutions. Results are also shown graphically and are compared with results given in the literature. Keywords: Diffusion; Cubic B-spline; Collocation; Tridiagonal system; Thomas algorithm

There has been a rise in research interest in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) due to the potential for his or her widespread use in many various areas like home automation, security, environmental monitoring, and lots more. Wireless sensor network (WSN) localization is a very important and fundamental problem that has received a great deal of attention from the WSN research community. Determining the relative coordinate of sensor nodes within the network adds way more aiming to sense data. The research community is extremely rich in proposals to deal with this challenge in WSN. This paper explores the varied techniques proposed to deal with the acquisition of location information in WSN. In the study of the research paper finding the performance in WSN and those techniques supported the energy consumption in mobile nodes in WSN, needed to implement the technique and localization accuracy (error rate) and discuss some open issues for future research. The thought behind Internet of things is that the interconnection of the Internet-enabled things or devices to every other and human to realize some common goals. WSN localization is a lively research area with tons of proposals in terms of algorithms and techniques. Centralized localization techniques estimate every sensor node's situation on a network from a central Base Station, finding absolute or relative coordinates (positioning) with or without a reference node, usually called the anchor (beacon) node. Our proposed method minimization error rate and finding the absolute position of nodes

TRIVIDHA KARMA IN SURGICAL PARLANCE- A CONCEPTUAL STUDY

In Ayurvedic classics there are various types of treatment and Shastra chikitsa is one among them. Purva Karma Pradhana Karma, Paschat Karma are Trividha Karma. According to Acharya Sushruta, Purva Karma means preparation of patient along with collecting all the materials needed during the Pradhana karma. Ashtaviddha Shastra Karma is included in Pradhana Karma. Paschat Karma includes post operative care. Sushruta division of surgical activity into three parts i.e., pre- operative, operative and post-operative based on sound scientific principles. Sushruta has also described the pre-operative appreciation of foreign body, its size, shape, and exact location within the body and appropriate instrument for its removal should be selected pre-operatively. He has also mentioned the pre-operative diet and starvation for various types of surgeries. He has also emphasized that asepsis and antisepsis precaution should be taken, wound should be protected from dangerous and invisible creatures (Nishachara). Fumigation of Vranitaagara should be done for ten days, twice a day. By virtue of this article, we can understand the systematic method of arranging the surgical experience of arranging the surgical experience of the older surgeon, about preliminary measures, principal measures and after measures. All the procedures included under these three headings i.e., Trividdha karma plays an important role in successful and complication free surgery

Environmental orientation and ecotourism awareness among pilgrims, adventure tourists, and leisure tourists

    Get PDF
For the sustainable development of tourism in destination areas, it is important to have responsible visitors with high pro-environmental orientation and a critical minimum knowledge of ecotourism. Most of the pilgrimage, adventurous, and leisure destinations of India are in ecologically sensitive locations with bountiful environmental resources. Thus, understanding tourists’ environmental orientation is critical for destination management. In this context, the present study investigates the environmental orientation and ecotourism awareness of tourists visiting some of the key environmental hotspots of northern India. A comparative analysis of the environmental orientations of pilgrims, adventurists, and leisure tourists is also carried out. The findings generally reveal that there exist significant differences among these categories in terms of environmental orientation and awareness about ecotourism. Pilgrims and adventurists exhibit superior environmental orientation compared to leisure tourists. Yet, when it comes to the awareness of ecotourism, none of the groups under study show great awareness, except that adventurists stand better compared to the other two groups

    Heterotopic pregnancy: a case report

    Get PDF
Heterotopic pregnancy is defined as the coexistence of intrauterine and extrauterine gestation. The incidence is low and estimated to be 1 in 30,000 of spontaneous pregnancies though it is becoming commoner with assisted reproductive technique. It can be a life-threatening condition and can be easily missed with the diagnosis being overlooked. We present a rare case of spontaneous heterotopic pregnancy with live intrauterine gestation and ruptured left adnexal gestation

Postoperative vault hematoma following vaginal hysterectomy: case reports

    Get PDF
Postoperative vault hematoma is almost a universal consequence of gynaecologic surgery. It usually occurs after vaginal or abdominal hysterectomy. At one end there can be are minimal collection of peritoneal fluid or blood which is clinically insignificant whereas at the other end is the hematoma and abscess requiring active intervention for the patient to recover. We here present two cases of vault hematoma following vaginal hysterectomy which were reported to our institution in recent times. In both cases hematomas were infected. Ultrasonography was used to accurately identify and define the extent of hematomas. The patients underwent vault exploration and drainage. Post-operative period remained uneventful. Postoperative vault hematoma can be diagnosed in the early postoperative period of gynaecologic surgery. It is important to consider the possibility of vault haematoma in patients with persistent fever and vaginal bleeding after hysterectomy. The hematoma cavity can be easily entered to drain hematoma or abscess completely, expediting the recovery of the patient. Refining surgical techniques will significantly reduce the risk of vault hematoma.

Web Based Image search Using Semantic Signature Re-ranking Technique

Web-based image search re-ranking, as an successful method to get better the results. In a query keyword, the first stair is store the images is first retrieve based on the text-based information. The user to select a query keyword image, by using this query keyword other images are re-ranked based on their visual properties with images. Now a day to day, people projected to match images in a semantic space which is used attributes or reference classes closely related to the basis of semantic image. though, understanding a worldwide visual semantic space to demonstrate highly different images from the web is difficult and inefficient. The re-ranking images, which automatically offline part learns dissimilar semantic spaces for different query keywords. The features of images are projected into their related semantic spaces to get particular images. At the online stage, images are re-ranked by compare their semantic signatures obtained the semantic précised by the query keyword image. The query-specific semantic signatures extensively improve both the proper and efficiency of image re-ranking. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15011

Increasing the network efficiency & reducing the power consumption are important issues in the design of applications & protocols for wireless sensor network. Sleep scheduling & routing protocol provides efficient communication with less power consumption. In this paper, we address the routing protocol for static network which reduces the computation time & power consumption. Proposed system, in practice, suitable for small & medium sized networks. In this proposed work the first module incorporates the communication between node to node & node to base station. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.150313
