Research on the economic effect of employment structure change in heterogeneous regions: evidence from resource-based cities in China
The Report on the Work of the Chinese Government in 2021
emphasised that stable employment is the foundation of national
development. Therefore, adjustment of the employment structure
is one of the main routes for sustainable development of
resource-based cities. However, the impact of employment structure
on sustained economic growth, particularly in heterogeneous
regions, has not yet been determined. This study analyses China’s
employment structure’s spatial evolution, using panel data from
2004 to 2018 of 115 prefecture-level resource-based cities. It
explores the driving factors and spatial effects of employment
structure changes on economic growth through an extended
two-sector economic growth model and spatial econometric
model, and proposes solutions for heterogeneous regions. The
results show that the labour productivity of the employed population
in the secondary industry is the most important factor affecting
economic growth, but the spatial effects of employment
structure adjustment on economic growth are different in heterogeneous
regions. They further reveal that improving the productivity
of the employed population in the secondary industry and
building an industrial system according to regional advantages
are the top priorities for developing the sustainable economy of
resource-based cities

Synthesis of Pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine Derivatives and Evaluation of their Src Kinase Inhibitory Activities
A series of pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine derivatives was synthesized and evaluated for the Src kinase inhibitory activities. Compound 6e and 10c exhibited inhibition of Src kinase with an IC50 value of 5.6 and 5.1 μM, respectively. Hydroxamate derivative 15a was found to be a metal-mediated inhibitor for human Csk with an IC50 value of 2.0 μM showing 56-fold selectivity over Src kinase inhibition
Condition monitoring of press-pack IGBT devices using Deformation Detection Approach
Press pack Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (PP IGBT) are gaining more attention in HVDC power transmission systems due to their high-power density and high reliability compared with conventional power modules. Condition monitoring of PP IGBTs is normally conducted by estimating the chip temperature which is challenging to implement in practice. This paper presents a new parameter, deformation of the upper lid groove, to indicate the health condition of the PP IGBT based on its unique packaging technique. The thermal-mechanical coupled model is built by FE software in order to investigate the relationship between the deformation and junction temperature of the chips. In addition, the several feasible detection methods of deformation have been discussed and utilization of the fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor shows the advantages as the most appropriate approach, which can be further developed for condition monitoring using deformation measurements
Cytochalasin E, a potential agent for anti-glioma therapy, efficiently induces U87 human glioblastoma cell death
Glioblastoma is one of the most malignant brain tumors. Current treatments for glioblastoma usually make poor responses, and novel treatment strategies are extremely imperative. Cytochalasin E was reported to inhibit angiogenesis and tumor growth in some studies, but its effects on gliomas are still unknown. In this study, we found cytochalasin E inhibits U87 human glioblastoma cell growth in a very low concentration range of 10-8 to 10-6 M in a time and concentration dependent manner, and the IC50 were 1.17 ± 0.32 × 10-7 M for 48 h treatment, 6.65 ± 1.12 × 10-8 M for 72 h and 3.78 ± 1.30 × 10-8 M for 96 h. We also found cytochalasin E induces cell-cycle G2/M phase arrest (72 h-treatment of 10-6 M cytochalasin E caused 56.2 ± 6.1 % cells arrest in G2/M phase) and cell apoptosis (96 h-treatment of 10-6 M cytochalasin E induced 24.1 ± 4.2 % cells apoptosis). Thus, cytochalasin E is proposed as a potential agent for glioblastoma chemotherapy.Colegio de Farmacéuticos de la Provincia de Buenos Aire
