Study on the Activity of PI3K/AKT, Death Receptor and 14-3-3 Mediated Signaling Pathways Regulating Hepatocyte Apoptosis during Rat Liver Regeneration
Studies have shown that apoptosis is closely related to the rat liver regeneration. To understand the mechanism of hepatocyte apoptosis during rat liver regeneration at the gene transcription level, the Rat Genome 230 2.0 Array was used to determine the expression changes of genes. Then the genes associated with cell apoptosis were searched by GO and NCBI databases, and cell apoptosis signaling pathways were searched by the database of QIAGEN and KEGG. Their signaling activities were calculated by spectral function E(t). The mechanism of hepatocyte apoptosis during rat liver regeneration was analyzed by Ingenuity Pathway Analysis 9.0 (IPA). The results showed that among the 27 signaling pathways regulating cell apoptosis, the E(t) values of Apoptosis signaling pathway and 14-3-3 mediated signaling pathway were significantly increased in the progression phase (6-72h after PH) of rat liver regeneration, and the E(t) values of hepatocyte apoptosis mediated by mitochondria rout were also significantly increased. The E(t) values of death receptor signaling pathway and PI3K/AKT branch of 14-3-3 mediated signaling pathway were significantly increased in the progression phase and the terminal phase (72-168h after PH) of rat liver regeneration, and the E(t) values of hepatocyte apoptosis mediated by cytomembrane route and nucleus route were also significantly increased. Conclusion: PI3K/AKT, death receptor and mitochondria branch played a key role in promoting cell apoptosis during rat liver regeneration
Improved Lattice Gauge Field Hamiltonian
Lepage's improvement scheme is a recent major progress in lattice ,
allowing to obtain continuum physics on very coarse lattices. Here we discuss
improvement in the Hamiltonian formulation, and we derive an improved
Hamiltonian from a lattice Lagrangian free of errors. We do this by
the transfer matrix method, but we also show that the alternative via Legendre
transformation gives identical results. We consider classical improvement,
tadpole improvement and also the structure of L{\"u}scher-Weisz improvement.
The resulting color-electric energy is an infinite series, which is expected to
be rapidly convergent. For the purpose of practical calculations, we construct
a simpler improved Hamiltonian, which includes only nearest-neighbor
interactions.Comment: 30 pages, LaTe
Application of total innovation management to leverage innovation capabilities of chinese small & medium sized enterprises
There is still a wide gap in innovative and technological capabilities between China and industrialized countries. The project goal is to leverage innovative capabilities and the competitiveness of Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) via Total Innovation Management (TIM), and thereby contribute to the social and economic development of Zhejiang and other provinces in China. This report outlines project activities, events, outputs, and outcomes. Total innovation capability (TIC) can be divided into core capability and supplementary capability: core capability is positively related to innovation performance, yet needs appropriate time and resources to be built up. R&D investment can increase stability
Human Parechovirus Infections in Monkeys with Diarrhea, China
Information about human parechovirus (HPeV) infection in animals is scant. Using 5âČ untranslated region reverse transcriptionâPCR, we detected HPeV in feces of monkeys with diarrhea and sequenced the complete genome of 1 isolate (SH6). Monkeys may serve as reservoirs for zoonotic HPeV transmissions and as models for studies of HPeV pathogenesis

Bound state solutions of the Dirac-Rosen-Morse potential with spin and pseudospin symmetry
The energy spectra and the corresponding two- component spinor wavefunctions
of the Dirac equation for the Rosen-Morse potential with spin and pseudospin
symmetry are obtained. The wave ( state) solutions for this
problem are obtained by using the basic concept of the supersymmetric quantum
mechanics approach and function analysis (standard approach) in the
calculations. Under the spin symmetry and pseudospin symmetry, the energy
equation and the corresponding two-component spinor wavefunctions for this
potential and other special types of this potential are obtained. Extension of
this result to state is suggested.Comment: 18 page
Existence and uniqueness of solutions for systems of fractional differential equations with RiemannâStieltjes integral boundary condition
In this article, we first establish an existence and uniqueness result for a class of systems of nonlinear operator equations under more general conditions by means of the cone theory and monotone iterative technique. Furthermore, the iterative sequence of the solution and the error estimation of the system are given. Then we use this new result to study the existence and uniqueness of the solution for boundary value problems of systems of fractional differential equations with a RiemannâStieltjes integral boundary condition in real Banach spaces. The results obtained in this paper are more general than many previous results and complement them
The open-charm radiative and pionic decays of molecular charmonium Y(4274)
In this work, we investigate the decay widths and the line shapes of the
open-charm radiative and pionic decays of Y(4274) with the
molecular charmonium assignment. Our calculation
indicates that the decay widths of and
can reach up to 0.05 keV and 0.75 keV,
respectively. In addition, the result of the line shape of the photon spectrum
of shows that there exists a very sharp
peak near the large end point of photon energy. The line shape of the pion
spectrum of is similar to that of the pion
spectrum of , where we also find a very
sharp peak near the large end point of pion energy. According to our
calculation, we suggest further experiments to carry out the search for the
open-charm radiative and pionic decays of Y(4274).Comment: 7 pages, 6 figures, 1 table. Published versio
