In the 21st century, the over dependence on cars in China’s urban development has led to a series of problems, which have seriously affected the development of contemporary cities. The problem of communication has become the bottleneck of the development of many cities in China. Therefore, the rise of urban rail transit is an inevitable trend. The construction and development of rail transit is an effective way to solve urban diseases, such as traffic congestion, traffic pollution, poor green travel environment and difficult parking. In the period of great development opportunity of rail transit, it is necessary to discuss how to scientifically plan urban rail transit system, promote urban intensive development and improve urban traffic conditions. Combined with the current situation of rapid development of urban rail transit in China, this article analyzes the main problems existing in the development of urban rail transit at present, and puts forward the guiding ideology and main countermeasures for the development of urban rail transit in the future: do what you can and develop steadily to effectively avoid the hidden dangers brought about by blind development; further strengthen the scientific nature of urban rail transit planning and maintain the seriousness of planning; further improve the investment and financing mode of urban rail transit. Some suggestions are also put forward for the key problems to be solved in the near future

Virtual Net: a Decentralized Architecture for Interaction in Mobile Virtual Worlds

With the development of mobile technology, mobile virtual worlds have attracted massive users. To improve scalability, a peer-to-peer virtual world provides the solution to accommodate more users without increasing hardware investment. In mobile settings, however, existing P2P solutions are not applicable due to the unreliability of mobile devices and the instability of mobile networks. To address the issue, a novel infrastructure model, called Virtual Net, is proposed to provide fault-tolerance in managing user content and object state. In this paper, the key problem, namely object state update, is resolved to maintain state consistency and high interaction responsiveness. This work is important in implementing a scalable mobile virtual world

Efficient Peer-to-Peer Content Sharing for Learning in Virtual Worlds

Virtual world technologies provide new and immersive space for learning, training, and education. They are enabled by the content creation and content sharing function for allowing users to create and interoperate various learning objects. Unfortunately, virtual world content sharing based on persistent virtual world content storage, to the best of our knowledge, does not exist. In this paper, we address this problem by proposing a content sharing scheme based on Virtual Net, a virtual world persistency framework. For efficient content retrieval, three strategies have been proposed to reduce communication overhead and content load delay.By integrating these strategies, a virtual world content search and retrieval algorithm has been devised. The experiment results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm

    Sign-Based Semantics-Enriched Social Computing

During the transformation of the existing social Web to semantic social Web, semantics-enriched social computing is becoming important, because it can support semantics-oriented user connection and collaboration in a larger community. To provide this support, this paper proposes a novel sign-based social computing approach, called Sign Network, to represent and exchange semantically intero-perable Web content between online computer systems. This approach semantically enriches social content and enables to mediate the communication of Social Web users such that their social content can be unambiguously created and used. Applying this approach, a social sign exchange mechanism is developed for enabling the appli-cations of social tagging, social navigation and social col-laboration. 1
