Dimensiones físicas, psicológicas y sociales de la salud mental del cuidador del adulto mayor

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo describir las dimensiones físicas, psicológicas y sociales, que se involucran en la salud mental de la persona que cuida al adulto mayor, ya que, los cuidadores pueden enfrentar estrés inmediato, porque en la mayoría de los casos se evidencian dificultades en las funciones cognitivas, las cuales interfieren en el cuidado adecuado del adulto mayor, surgiendo complicaciones y limitaciones físicas, psicológicas y sociales que dificultan la realización de su labor y su salud mental.This project aims to describe the physical, psychological and social dimensions involved in the mental health of the caregiver, since caregivers can face immediate stress, because in most cases there is evidence of difficulties in cognitive functions, which interfere with the proper care of the elderly, resulting in physical, psychological and social complications and limitations that hinder the performance of their work and mental health. In order to carry out this research, a wide review of bibliographical resources was used, from which 52 articles were selected and it is possible to evidence in these the affectations in the physical, psychological or social dimensions presented by those who take care of older adults.
