Semileptonic decays of mesons in unquenched lattice QCD
We present our preliminary results for semileptonic form factors of
mesons in unquenched lattice QCD. Simulations are carried out with
dynamical quarks using gauge configurations generated by the MILC
collaboration. For the valence quarks, we adopt an improved staggered light
quark action and the clover heavy quark action. Our results for and
form factors at are in agreement with the experimental
values.Comment: Lattice2003(heavy), 3 page
Quarkonium mass splittings in three-flavor lattice QCD
We report on calculations of the charmonium and bottomonium spectrum in
lattice QCD. We use ensembles of gauge fields with three flavors of sea quarks,
simulated with the asqtad improved action for staggered fermions. For the heavy
quarks we employ the Fermilab interpretation of the clover action for Wilson
fermions. These calculations provide a test of lattice QCD, including the
theory of discretization errors for heavy quarks. We provide, therefore, a
careful discussion of the results in light of the heavy-quark effective
Lagrangian. By and large, we find that the computed results are in agreement
with experiment, once parametric and discretization errors are taken into
account.Comment: 21 pages, 17 figure
Results on improved KS dynamical configurations: spectrum, decay constants, etc
The MILC Collaboration has been producing ensembles of lattice configurations
with three dynamical flavors for the past few years. There are now results for
three lattice spacings for a variety of light and strange quark masses, ranging
down to , where is the dynamical strange quark mass and
is the common mass of the and quarks. Recently, the Fermilab,
HPQCD, MILC and UKQCD collaborations have presented a summary of results
obtained using these lattices. Compared with quenched results, these new
calculations show great improvement in agreement with experiment. This talk
addresses the technical improvements that make these calculations possible and
provides additional details of calculations not presented in the initial
summary. We demonstrate that a wide range of hadronic observables can now be
calculated to 2--3% accuracy.Comment: 10 pages, 17 figures (16 in color), Lattice2003(plenary), Plenary

Properties of charmonium in lattice QCD with 2+1 flavors of improved staggered sea quarks
We use the dynamical gluon configurations provided by the MILC collaboration
in a study of the charmonium spectrum and psi leptonic width. We examine sea
quark effects on mass splitting and on the leptonic decay matrix element for
light masses as low as m_s/5, while keeping the strange quark mass fixed and
the lattice spacing nearly constant.Comment: Lattice2003(heavy
Exotic meson spectroscopy from the clover action at beta = 5.85 and 6.15
We repeat our original simulations of the hybrid meson spectrum using the
clover action, as a check on lattice artifacts. Our results for the 1-+ masses
do not substantially change. We present preliminary results for the wave
function of the 1-+ state in Coulomb gauge.Comment: LATTICE98(spectrum) 3 latex pages and two postscript figures.
