    The purpose of modern dentistry is the early prevention of tooth decay rather than invasive restorative therapy. In recent years, remineralization of the demineralised enamel without using any restorative treatment becomes more important. Nano-sized particles have similarity to the apatite crystals of tooth enamel in morphology and crystal structure. Recently, some reports have shown that nano-hydroxyapatite has some potential to remineralize of enamel lesions.
