The Greeks under the Jurisdiction of the Archbishop of Karlovci in the Eighteenth Century
In the territory of the Habsburg Monarchy during the eighteenth century, the only Orthodox Church whose jurisdiction was recognised by the imperial authorities was that of the Archbishopric of Karlovci, which up to 1766 was an autonomous part of the Patriarchate of Peć. The believers who were part of this archbishopric had the freedom to profess their religion, which is why the Greeks who took up temporary residence in the towns of the Habsburg Monarchy turned to its archbishop when seeking their religious rights. However, there was an important difference in the status of the Greeks and the Serbs, since the former would not become subjects of the Habsburg Monarchy on a large scale until the 1760s while the former were already subjects. Due to their shared religion, in smaller settlements where they were a minority the religious needs of the Greeks were met within the existing Serbian parishes. This article describes the development of Greekparishes under the administration of the archbishop of Karlovci, how the authorities treated them and how they attained their religious rights

Analysis of the motion and stability of the holonomic mechanical system in the arbitrary force field
In order to give an insight into the work of the machine before the production and assembly and to obtain good analysis, this paper presents detailed solutions to the specific problem occured in the field of analytical mechanics. In addition to numerical procedures in the paper, a review of the theoretical foundations was made.Various types of analysis are very common in mechanical engineering, due to the possibility of an approximation of complex machines. For the proposed system, Lagrange's equations of the first kind, covariant and contravariant equations, Hamiltons equations and the generalized coordinates, as well as insight in Coulumb friction force are provided. Also, the conditions of static equilibrium are solved numerically and using intersection of the two curves. Finally, stability of motion for the disturbed and undisturbed system was investigated

Application of Multivariate Analysis in Separation of Higgs Boson Signal at future e+e- colliders
Even though the environment at future e+e- colliders is practically QCD background free, there is a large number of processes with high cross-sections and/or similar topology as the Higgs signal of interest. Maximization of the achievable precision of measurements in the Higgs sector and beyond calls for optimized event selection with respect to the statistical significance. This is where the Multivariate Analysis (MVA) is employed, separating the signal from numerous backgrounds on the basis of their kinematic and other properties. In this paper, we discuss the basics of MVA, its application and performance, in examples of several Higgs analyses done in our group using full simulation of the CLIC data.BPU11 : 11th International Conference of the Balkan Physical Union : Proceedings book; Aug 11 - Sep 1, 2022S05-HEP High Energy Physics (Particles and Fields
Uncertainty of the wheel-rail angle of attack measurements using laser based wayside system
PR Projekat Ministarstva nauke Republike Srbije, br. TR 35006 i br. TR 35045.The angle of attack is an important wheel-rail contact parameter. Together with wheel-rail contact forces it serves for estimation of the rail vehicle curving performances. This paper analyses measurement uncertainty of the specially designed laser system for measurements of the wheel-rail angle of attack, with emphasis on the importance of the theoretical approach for selection of the appropriate measuring principle and for identifying all influential factors. The influence of the correct installation of the system on results is also considered. In order to evaluate quality of the analysis, some measurement results are presented and compared with the results of multibody system (MBS) simulation using specialized computer package VAMPIRE Pro
Determination of the CPV Higgs mixing angle in ZZ-fusion at 1.4 TeV CLIC
In this talk we discuss the CP violation in the Higgs sector under assumption that Higgs is a mixture of CP even and odd states. Study is done in ZZ-fusion, at the intermediate energy stage of CLIC, in full simulation of a detector and machine and physics related backgrounds. By measuring kinematic properties of electron and positron in the final state, in the Higgs exlusive decay to bb¯ to reduce backgrounds, we discuss the statistical precision of CP-violating mixing angle measurement with 2.5 ab−1 of data.BPU11 : 11th International Conference of the Balkan Physical Union : Proceedings book; Aug 11 - Sep 1, 2022S05-HEP High Energy Physics (Particles and Fields
Specific aspects of the rail vehicle pass-by noise measurement
Actual European legislative (NOI TSI) urges for quitter rail vehicles requiring
obligatory assessment of noise emitted by rail vehicles within vehicle approval procedure. After survey of different rail vehicle noise emission scenarios, this paper discusses more in detail specifics of the pass-by noise measurement. The requirements of the measurement procedure from applicable standards are presented and discussed on the example of the tank wagon pass-by tests.
Under several parameters that can influence measurement, for vehicle approval is important to measure and check if the most influencing parameters related to track lies in specified limits. If so, the measured noise emission level mainly represents the vehicle contribution and allows comparability to noise emission measurement of other vehicles. Two main track characteristics have to be measured and assessed: acoustical rail roughness and track decay rate. In the paper are presented both measurements that are more demanding than the noise emission measurement itself
Active vibration control of smart composite plates using optimized self-tuning fuzzy logic controller with optimization of placement, sizing and orientation of PFRC actuators
This paper deals with optimization of the sizing, location and orientation of the piezo-fiber reinforced composite (PFRC) actuators and active vibration control of the smart composite plates using particle-swarm optimized self-tuning fuzzy logic controller. The optimization criteria for optimal sizing, location and orientation of the PFRC actuators is based on the Gramian controllability matrix and the optimization process is performed by involving the limitation of the plates masses increase. Optimal configurations of five PFRC actuators for active vibration control of the first six modes of cantilever symmetric ((90 degrees/0 degrees/90 degrees/0 degrees)s), antisymmetric cross-ply ((90 degrees/0 degrees/90 degrees/0 degrees/90 degrees/0 degrees/90 degrees/0 degrees)) and antisymmetric angle-ply ((45 degrees/-45 degrees/45 degrees/-45 degrees/45 degrees/-45 degrees/45 degrees/-45 degrees)) composite plates are found using the particle swarm optimization. The detailed analysis of influences of the PFRC layer orientation and position (top or bottom side of composite plates), as well as bending-extension coupling of antisymmetric laminates on controllabilities is also performed. The experimental study is performed in order to validate this behavior on controllabilities of antisymmetric laminates. The particle swarm-optimized self-tuning fuzzy logic controller (FLC) adapted for the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) control is implemented for active vibration suppression of the plates. The membership functions as well as output matrices are optimized using the particle swarm optimization. The Mamdani and the zero-order Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy inference methods are employed and their performances are examined and compared. In order to represent the efficiency of the proposed controller, results obtained using the proposed particle swarm optimized self-tuning FLC are compared with the corresponding results in the case of the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) optimal control strategy. This is the peer reviewed version of the article: Zorić, N.; Tomović, A.; Obradović, A.; Radulović, R.; Petrović, G.
