We analyze three background: graphic design-related subjects in the previous degree both the School of Design Engineering (UPV) and other Spanish universities; educational projects drawn up by other universities for this same subject; and other subjects related to graphic design that are also taught in the titling of the School of Design Engineering (UPV) degree. After this, we comment and explain the different sections of the teaching guide: skills and training objectives, recommended knowledge, content, teaching-learning methodology, and evaluation. This educational program aims to train future industrial designer for the development of basic applications of graphic design (posters, brochures, advertisements, etc.) to help the presentation and marketing of industrial product. [EN] In the process of creating a brand name, both linguistic and marketing are involved. This paper aims to describe the relationship between linguistic factors of brand name and corporate or business factors. To achieve this, an analysis of the linguistic content of 141 Spanish brand names has been done. These brands have been compared according to sector of activity, year of foundation and countries where the company is present. The results show that the studied corporate values do not influence extensively on linguistic features of the brand name in general, but they do influence in some of them in the language or the name’s origin.

[EN] There is no single way to learn or study, but different learning styles that describe the different ways in which students face the resolution of academic tasks. This project aims to describe the attitudes, strategies and behaviors used by students in the development of a project within the field of design. To this end, a systematic observation and collection of information by a group of teachers is carried out in several subjects in which the methodology of project-based learning is applied. The collected data are subsequently analyzed and cataloged according to the widely accepted differentiation in the pedagogical field between superficial learning and deep learning approaches. The results allow us to differentiate between two forms of work in the development of a design project that would differentiate those students who seek to solve the project by applying little original guidelines and without going too deeply (superficial approach) and those who seek a high level of understanding of the problem to solve and a very original solution (deep approach).[ES] No existe una única manera de aprender o estudiar, sino diversos estilos de aprendizaje que describen las distintas formas en las que los alumnos se enfrentan a la resolución de las tareas académicas. Empowering Youth Employment through European Digital Bootcamps (EDIBO)

[EN] Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are transforming every area of economic and social life all around the world. New types of jobs different from the traditional ones are created rapidly. The demand for highly skilled staff who uses technology effectively has become a requirement for success of companies and the growing industry. However, the number of IT graduates is not keeping up with the current demand. In addition, companies have little or no training programs to develop ICT skills. Initiatives from the European Economic Area (EEA) and Norway Grants to support transnational projects for Youth Employment including European Digital Bootcamps (EDIBO) contribute to increase the job opportunities for young people outside of the labour market. In this way the Sustainable Development Goal 8 which aims to “promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all” could be fulfilled. Nowadays, EDIBO is developing different training labs in order to achieve a success model of all processes involved with the organization, execution and evaluation. The goal of this document is to allow a rapid replication of the intensive ICT training among the partners of the project as well to the social innovation community in general.Luzuriaga Quichimbo, JE.; Mauleón, B.; Ampuero Canellas, O.; Lemus Zúñiga, LG.; Mateo Pla, MÁ.; Benlloch Dualde, JV.; González Del Rio Cogorno, J....
