A mobile application is the best way to reach the largest possible number of users, and it is a smart idea and dealing with it is very easy. In the Corona pandemic, many Mobile applications appeared that helped the community with the necessary precautions, Therefore, we designed an application on the phone to allow patients to book an appointment and choose the appropriate health and medical services, and it also allows for a PCR examination to detect Coronavirus, By making an appointment and going to the patient’s home while taking preventive precautions from Corona. Derivation motor is constantly refreshed as new ends are drawn from each new sureness in the learning base which triggers additional rules, heuristics and standards in the inference engine. This paper is going to design and implement an application of expert system, it’s first since forever achievement DENDRAL which turned into a stepping stone in the Artificial Intelligence field. The model shows the essential parts of AI and the major icons to do the assessment and treatment within the situation of corona virus. The reveals is this System can be a greatly important expansion of Artificial Intelligence

Facilitation for Undergraduate College Students to Learn Java Language Using E-Learning Model

The use of modern programming in Java has become widely used in the e-learning model to help the student learn in the right place and time. Students have difficulty learning Java and are time-consuming without the benefit of understanding the material. This study presents how to build an electronic application to facilitate learning programming in modern languages. In order to confirm the effectiveness of the application, a questionnaire was developed on the need for an educational application that helps facilitate the process of learning Java and the need for diversity in the methods of educational methods. The study of this questionnaire appeared from the need for this educational electronic application. After applying the application to the same sample of students, they expressed their satisfaction and satisfaction with this application, and the impact of this use of this application in raising the educational level of the student in this subject The results show and reflect the good interest from students of this application

A Model for Enhancing Algorithmic Thinking in Programming Education using PAAM

    No full text
Most novice programmers consider learning to program as a difficult and challenging field of study for them. As a result, high dropout and failure rates in programming one courses reported. One of the reasons is that most programming (1) courses don’t give equal attention to syntax and semantics of programming language and algorithmic thinking. In this study, a web application based on Problem Analysis and Algorithmic Model (PAAM) was prepared and acquainted in the programming (1) course. The application focuses on problem analysis and algorithmic thinking. The influence on genders' opinion after offering the PAAM model in the programming (1) course determined by organizing a survey. The mean values of the male and female survey respondents compared by performing the T-test. The purpose is to determine if there is any significant difference between the mean values. Results show that students appreciated the web application in the programming (1) course. Male students discerned more positive responses in the survey questions compared to female students. The T-test result shows a significant difference between the values of respondents because the p-value for equal variances assumed is (.000), which is less than p = 0.05. The application encourages a new approach based on four steps (problem statement → problem analysis → problem-solving skills → code) for novices. The application helps students to understand programming structures, program design and comprehension

There is a need for several applications and technologies in higher education institutions in Oman to enhance the educational process. This systematical study investigates the simultaneous influence of technology implementation with e-learning and traditional coursework program instruction on the enhancement and development of an assessment method for undergraduates in different programs. This paper aims to analyze the current articles that handle with the learning process and compare between the understanding and acceptance of E-Learning mechanism and traditional coursework method of teaching for improving assessment method and evaluation of academic performance. The method works on the benefits of increasing E-Learning process for educational skills as an assistance tool with faculty material and class discussion. In this study, surveys were distributed to two different universities and college in Oman to assess their satisfaction in the learning model. The findings of this paper assisted the model that may help to improve both the teaching method and academic performance of student learning outcomes

Learning to code is considered as a difficult and challenging task for a significant number of novice programmers in programming education. Novice programmers have to acquire different skills such as problem solving, program design, comprehension, and debugging at the same time. On the other hand, most introductory programming courses focus more on syntax of the programming language. In this study, we developed and introduced a ‘PROBSOL’ application in three different learning systems (E-learning, M-learning and Game-based learning) to enhance the problem solving skills of novice programmers in an introductory programming (IP) course. A survey was conducted with the IP students to determine their perception about all the three applications in the IP course. Gender differences were determined by comparing both female and male students’ responses for each question in the survey. The results of comparison show that male students were more satisfied with all the three applications compared to female students. Both female and male students perceived that all the three applications are user-friendly, enabled them to accomplish tasks more quickly, and enhanced their learning productivity. Overall, both male and female students appreciated all the three applications in the teaching and learning process of the IP course. This study implies that instructors can also use all the three applications as an additional teaching tool in the teaching and learning process of programming education

Smartphones and applications are one of the most used things in learning and management systems. They make everyone connected with society, and those who feel sorry for it, especially college students are always looking for things that benefit them at a university. In this research, there is a need to apply a new application for student education service with an easy way of managing data and generate progression on reports feedback in his or her university life. We conducted a survey with the students of Al Buraimi University College and we reached a positive result that helps in the work. Smartphones have become pervasive and sales of all categories have many functions, in search (application of mobile-based devices in education design) to talk about applications in smart devices that serve education and take their information for management purpose and ease of use and follow them in any way
