Prevalence and factors associated with maternal postpartum haemorrhage in Khyber agency, Pakistan

Background: Postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) is one of the main causes of maternal mortality globally. The objective of this study was to estimate the prevalence of PPH and identify factors associated with PPH in Khyber Agency, Pakistan. Methodology: A quantitative, cross-sectional study design was selected to estimate the prevalence and associated factors for PPH among married women aged 15–49 years, residing in the Khyber Agency, FATA, Pakistan. A pre-tested structured questionnaire was adapted with some modifications to interview 1,000 women. Results: Prevalence of PPH was 21.3% in the study population. Factors associated with PPH were age, number of pregnancies, duration of labour, avoidance of milk, insertion of homemade remedies in vagina, retained placenta, and rest during postpartum period. Conclusion: Poor infrastructure, lack of appropriate training for healthcare providers, economic conditions, and negative cultural practices are some amongst the multiple factors that have a perilous impact on women’s health, particularly women of reproductive age. Comparative Analysis of Conventional Method with Activity Based Costing in PT Mulia Sejati Gallery

The goal of this research was to provide readers the information about the calculation methods, both traditional and activity-based costing in the application of the cost of production. The method used in this research was the qualitative method. The analysis was done by calculating the amount of the production cost using the traditional system and the magnitude of the production cost when using the activity-based costing system. The amount of each acquisition was then performed into data analysis. The results achieved are massive distortion between the calculations using traditional systems and activity based costing system. Adanya hubungan keterikatan dan ketergangtungan antara anggota kelompok anarkis begal dengan pola komunikasi yang mereka lakukan setiap harinya, hingga membentuk pola pikir yang kemudian menjadi suatu bentuk perilaku yang cenderung negatif dan menjadi perilaku yang menyimpang. Abstrack: The research aims to identify and analyze the financial performance of Co-operative Serba Usaha (KSU) Rejosari Pekanbaru city views from its financial ratios 2011-2015. Where the research was conducted in the environment Co-operative Serba Usaha (KSU) Rejosari in Pekanbaru. Research of the month August 2016 to March 2017. The type of research is quantitative descriptive, which describes the results of research in the form of financial reporting data related to the financial performance of the co-operative. Source of research data is the data obtained from the Co-operative Serba Usaha (KSU) Rejosari Management Accountability Reports Pekanbaru City years from 2011-2015. The data collection techniques used is the method of documentation. The results showed that the financial performance of Pekanbaru City Cooperative of the years 2011-2015 showed good results. This is because the conditions Liquidity Ratio (Current Ratio), Solvency Ratio (Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Total Assets), Ratios Profitability (Return on Equity, Return on Assets and Net Profit Margin) and Activity Ratios (Asset Tours Over, Recaivable Turn Over and Co-operative Business Transactions with Members Cooperative). Most of the financial performance of cooperatives have a very good performance, and there are some ratio performance is quite good and not good.
