String cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux

A Bianchi type I string cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux is investigated. A few plausible assumptions regarding the parametrization of the cosmic string and magneto-fluid are introduced and some exact analytical solutions are presented.Comment: 9 pages, 4 Figure

Relativistic Electromagnetic Mass Models: Charged Dust Distribution in Higher Dimensions

Electromagnetic mass models are proved to exist in higher dimensional theory of general relativity corresponding to charged dust distribution. Along with the general proof a specific example is also sited as a supporting candidate.Comment: Latex, 7 pages. Accepted in Astrophysics and Space Scienc

Five Dimensional Cosmological Models in General Relativity

A Five dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time is considered in the presence of a perfect fluid source with variable G and Λ\Lambda. An expanding universe is found by using a relation between the metric potential and an equation of state. The gravitational constant is found to decrease with time as Gt(1ω)G \sim t^{-(1-\omega)} whereas the variation for the cosmological constant follows as Λt2\Lambda \sim t^{-2}, Λ(R˙/R)2\Lambda \sim (\dot R/R)^2 and ΛR¨/R\Lambda \sim \ddot R/R where ω\omega is the equation of state parameter and RR is the scale factor.Comment: 13 pages, 4 figures, accepted in Int. Bianchi type-I model with cosmic string in the presence of a magnetic field: spinor description

A Bianchi type-I cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux along a cosmic string is investigated. A nonlinear spinor field is used to simulate the cosmological cloud of strings. It is shown that the spinor field simulation offer the possibility to solve the system of Einstein's equation without any additional assumptions. It is shown that the present model is nonsingular at the end of the evolution and does not allow the anisotropic Universe to turn into an isotropic one.Comment: 14 pages, 4 figures, new figus are added, singularity and isotropization process are discussed in detai

Higher Dimensional Dark Energy Investigation with Variable Λ\Lambda and GG

Time variable Λ\Lambda and GG are studied here under a phenomenological model of Λ\Lambda through an (n+2n+2) dimensional analysis. The relation of Zeldovich (1968) Λ=8πG2mp6/h4|\Lambda| = 8\pi G^2m_p^6/h^4 between Λ\Lambda and GG is employed here, where mpm_p is the proton mass and hh is Planck's constant. In the present investigation some key issues of modern cosmology, viz. the age problem, the amount of variation of GG and the nature of expansion of the Universe have been addressed.Comment: 7 Latex pages with few change

Bianchi type-I string cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic field: classical versus loop quantum cosmology approaches

A Bianchi type-I cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux along a cosmological string is considered. The first objective of this study is to investigate Einstein equations using a tractable assumption usually accepted in the literature. Quantum effects of the present cosmological model are examined in the framework of loop quantum cosmology. Finally we draw a parallel between the classical and quantum approaches.Comment: 14 pages, 8 figure
