The article considers the directions of influence of the global markets of high technologies on the national economic system of Ukraine and its nano-level. Three phases of the development of the nano-economy - the baby-economy, the human economy and the nano-technology economy - have been analyzed. It is noted that in Ukraine there are all grounds for the development of the baby-economy within families and individual households, as well as within pre-school, school and university settings. The conditions of formation of economic behavior of the individual individual as the basis of the nano-economy and the conditions for the creation of nano-technologies and their distribution in the international environment are outlined. It is noted that the levers of the influence of the evolution of the global markets of high and nano-technologies on the development of the national economy are the consideration of the phases of the nano-economy and their development and introduction into the activities of economic agents, individuals and the economy as a whole.

Morphology of the spectral resonance structure of the electromagnetic background noise in the range of 0.1?4 Hz at L = 5.2

International audienceContinuous observations of fluctuations of the geomagnetic field at Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory (L = 5.2) were used for a comprehensive morphological study of the spectral resonance structure (SRS) seen in the background electromagnetic noise in the frequency range of 0.1?4.0 Hz. It is shown that the occurrence rate of SRS is higher in the nighttime than in the daytime. The occurrence rate is higher in winter than in summer. The SRS frequencies and the difference between neighbouring eigenfrequencies (the frequency scale) increase towards nighttime and decrease towards daytime. Both frequency scale and occurrence rate exhibit a clear tendency to decrease from minimum to maximum of the solar activity cycle. It is found that the occurrence rate of SRS decreases when geomagnetic activity increases. The SRS is believed to be a consequence of a resonator for Alfvén waves, which is suggested to exist in the upper ionosphere. According to the theory of the ionospheric Alfvén resonator (IAR), characteristics of SRS crucially depend on electron density in the F-layer maximum, as well as on the altitudinal scale of the density decay above the maximum. We compared the SRS morphological properties with predictions of the IAR theory. The ionospheric parameters needed for calculation were obtained from the ionosphere model (IRI-95), as well as from measurements made with the ionosonde in Sodankylä. We conclude that, indeed, the main morphological properties of SRS are explained on the basis of the IAR theory. The measured parameters of SRS can be used for improving the ionospheric models

This paper deals with the problem of using the project method in teaching future mathematics teachers. The authors showed that one of such technologies is project training, which involves joint learning and cognitive activity of students, having a common goal, agreed ways of working. This paper notes also the need to use project technology, which consists in developing the ability of future teachers to have an analytical, creative thinking; self-acquisition of missing math knowledge from various sources; thinking, based on knowledge of mathematical facts, the laws of science; and ability to work in a team, performing various social role

Transverse momentum dependence of semi-inclusive pion production

Cross sections for semi-inclusive electroproduction of charged pions (π±\pi^{\pm}) from both proton and deuteron targets were measured for 0.2<x<0.50.2<x<0.5, 2<Q2<42<Q^2<4 GeV2^2, 0.3<z<10.3<z<1, and Pt2<0.2P_t^2<0.2 GeV2^2. For Pt<0.1P_t<0.1 GeV, we find the azimuthal dependence to be small, as expected theoretically. For both π+\pi^+ and π\pi^-, the PtP_t dependence from the deuteron is found to be slightly weaker than from the proton. In the context of a simple model, this implies that the initial transverse momenta width of dd quarks is larger than for uu quarks and, contrary to expectations, the transverse momentum width of the favored fragmentation function is larger than the unfavored one.Comment: 15 pages, 4 figures. The Onset of Quark-Hadron Duality in Pion Electroproduction

A large data set of charged-pion electroproduction from both hydrogen and deuterium targets has been obtained spanning the low-energy residual-mass region. These data conclusively show the onset of the quark-hadron duality phenomenon, as predicted for high-energy hadron electroproduction. We construct several ratios from these data to exhibit the relation of this phenomenon to the high-energy factorization ansatz of electron-quark scattering and subsequent quark-to- pion production mechanisms.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures, accepted in Phys. The Fission Yeast Stress-Responsive MAPK Pathway Promotes Meiosis via the Phosphorylation of Pol II CTD in Response to Environmental and Feedback Cues

The RRM-type RNA-binding protein Mei2 is a master regulator of meiosis in fission yeast, in which it stabilizes meiosis-specific mRNAs by blocking their destruction. Artificial activation of Mei2 can provoke the entire meiotic process, and it is suspected that Mei2 may do more than the stabilization of meiosis-specific mRNAs. In our current study using a new screening system, we show that Mei2 genetically interacts with subunits of CTDK-I, which phosphorylates serine-2 residues on the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II (Pol II CTD). Phosphorylation of CTD Ser-2 is essential to enable the robust transcription of ste11, which encodes an HMG-type transcription factor that regulates the expression of mei2 and other genes necessary for sexual development. CTD Ser-2 phosphorylation increases under nitrogen starvation, and the stress-responsive MAP kinase pathway, mediated by Wis1 MAPKK and Sty1 MAPK, is critical for this stress response. Sty1 phosphorylates Lsk1, the catalytic subunit of CTDK-I. Furthermore, a feedback loop stemming from activated Mei2 to Win1 and Wis4 MAPKKKs operates in this pathway and eventually enhances CTD Ser-2 phosphorylation and ste11 transcription. Hence, in addition to starting meiosis, Mei2 functions to reinforce the commitment to it, once cells have entered this process. This study also demonstrates clearly that the stress-responsive MAP kinase pathway can modulates gene expression through phosphorylation of Pol II CTD
