Synthesis and spectral characteristics of 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid derivatives as model compounds for the estimation of properties of modified hyperbranched polyesters polyols
© 2015 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. New amino and carboxy derivatives of methyl 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionate have been synthesized as models of terminal fragments of hyperbranched polyester polyamines and polyesters polycarboxylic acids, and their spectral characteristics have been studied
Polynuclear copper(II) complexes with polydentate nanoligands on the basis of aminoderivatives of the hyperbranched polyesters
Coordinationally active polydentate nanoplatforms on the basis of amino-modified hyperbranched polyesters containing 7 terminal amino fragments are synthesized. Synthetic procedure is developed and polynuclear Cu(II) complexes with polyesteropolyamines are prepared. Their composition and stability of the complex forms in DMSO-water solutions are evaluated. It is found that all the compounds obtained exhibit biological activity with respect to the induced asparagine proteinase of Candida albicans. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2011
Synthesis and Properties of Water-Soluble Branched Polyester Poly{3-[3-(morpholin-4-yl)propyl]amino}propionate and Its Copper(II) Complex
© 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. A new water-soluble multidentate ligand based on a second-generation hyperbranched polyester containing 3-(morpholin-4-yl)propionate fragments in the terminal position has been synthesized, and its complex with copper(II) has been obtained. The degree of polyester functionalization with aminopropylmorpholine is 56%
Ionization of acid-functionalized hyperbranched polyesters
Ionization of second- and third-generation hyperbranched polyesters functionalized by different acids was studied by mathematic simulation of experimental titration curves using the CPESSP programme. It was found that polyesters functionalized with carboxyethyl groups are ionized blockwise, while those functionalized with acrylic groups are ionized stepwise. Moreover, such polyesters show different self-association ability which decreases when going to greater generations. © IDOSI Publications, 2013
Hyperbranched polyester polyacids and their binary systems with surfactants for doxorubicin encapsulation
© 2015 Elsevier B.V. Doxorubicin fixation by hyperbranched polyester polyol Boltorn H acid derivatives and their binary systems in the presence of a surfactant (Brij-35, Triton X-100) was investigated. Doxorubicin fixation degree nonlinearly depends on the number of acid groups in the polyester polyacid. Polyacid/surfactant binary systems fix up to 60% of doxorubicin from the solution
Hyperbranched polyester poly[3-(morpholin-4-yl)propionates] and their copper(II) complexes
© 2017, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. Novel polydentate ligands on the basis of second- and third-generation hyperbranched polyesters containing terminal poly[3-(morpholin-4-yl)propionate] groups and their 6 : 1 and 13 : 1 polynuclear copper(II) complexes were synthesized. The degree of functionalization of the polyesters with morpholine increases in going from the second (56%) to third generation (68%). According to IR and electronic spectroscopy data, each coordination entity in the complexes is an isolated paramagnetic center of the formula CuN 2 O 2 Solv 2 (Solv = H 2 O, DMSO)
Impedimetric aptasensor for ochratoxin A determination based on Au nanoparticles stabilized with hyper-branched polymer.
An impedimetric aptasensor for ochratoxin A (OTA) detection has been developed on the base of a gold electrode covered with a new modifier consisting of electropolymerized Neutral Red and a mixture of Au nanoparticles suspended in the dendrimeric polymer Botlorn H30®. Thiolated aptamer specific to OTA was covalently attached to Au nanoparticles via Au-S bonding. The interaction of the aptamer with OTA induced the conformational switch of the aptamer from linear to guanine quadruplex form followed by consolidation of the surface layer and an increase of the charge transfer resistance. The aptasensor makes it possible to detect from 0.1 to 100 nM of OTA (limit of detection: 0.02 nM) in the presence of at least 50 fold excess of ochratoxin B. The applicability of the aptasensor for real sample assay was confirmed by testing spiked beer samples. The recovery of 2 nM OTA was found to be 70% for light beer and 78% for dark beer

Hyperbranched polyester poly(3-diethylaminepropionate)s and their copper(II) complexes: Synthesis, characterization and biological investigation
© 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.New polydentate ligands based on hyperbranched second and third generation polyesters containing terminal (3-diethylamino)propionate fragments and their polynuclear copper(II) complexes were synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic methods. The acid-base properties spectroscopy determined that the functionalization degree of the diethylamine-modified hyperbranched polyesters (LI, LII) increases from the second (56%) to third (81%) generation. The polynuclear complexes Cu(II)-LI and Cu(II)-LII were observed. A coordination site of the complexes contains paramagnetic fragment CuN2O2Solv2 where Solv is H2O or DMSO. The hyperbranched poly(ester amine) of the third generation have strong antifungal activity against Aspergillus fumigatus culture, and its metal complex is active against Candida albicans culture
