    PSYCHOLOGICAL PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS OF OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION SHIFT WORKERS WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS OF METEOREACTION IN ARCTIC REGION CONDITIONS

    The article is devoted to the definition of the psychological characteristics of oil and gas shift workers with high and low levels at meteoreaction in the Arctic. The oil and gas employees in conditions of the Far North and the Arctic are most likely to develop painful meteosensitivity. At the same time, the severity of it is caused by not only natural environmental factors, but also the person's psychological qualities and characteristics. The study was conducted as the scientific expedition, in which 70 oil and gas workers in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug participated from March to April 2015 (shift duration - 30 days), their age - from 24 to 60 years (mean age 38.46 ± 1.410). The study was conducted through questionnaires, psychological tests. Statistical analysis was performed using the methods of descriptive statistics and stepwise discriminant analysis. Processing was carried out using SPSS 22.00 software package. The study revealed that employees of oil and gas companies with a high level of situational meteoreaction had hyperthymic and excitable types of character accentuations, high level expression of constructive external self-limiting and constructive sexuality, as well as a low level of expression of the destructive and deficiency aggression, deficit anxiety, destructive inner self-limitation, destructive narcissism and sexuality

    Climatic, geographical, industrial and welfare factors make on the body of shift worker claims exceeding its reserves, which excludes the possibility of complete adaptation to these conditions and leads to the existence of occupational health hazards. In extreme conditions, shift work in the Far North would be assessed not only occupational risks, but also the risks to the health and psychological risks. Assessment of the risks to health workers suggests a wide range of criteria and indicators, which improves the timely development and implementation of preventive measures. Psychological assessment of risks in a professional activity would develop technology and conduct management activities, as moral hazard and risks to health

    The Nenets Autonomous District (NAD) refers to the territories of the Russia’s Far North. The country is the only region of Russia, where there are still no roads. The extreme weather conditions, as well as residential patterns in the NAD reduce the availability of specialized medical care, as indigenous people and other nationalities living in the district, which requires the use of health care management specific forms. The article presents data on giardiasis studies amongst different categories of the NAD population, obtained as a result of the population surveys in remote regions of the Russian Federation Arctic zone. Samples studied were serum and faecal emulsion. The study used the following laboratory methods: for serum — Giardia lamblia antibody screening method using ELISA kit, emulsion stool — native smear microscopy analysis, the method of enrichment using disposable concentrators «Parasep» immunological diagnostic methods based on the detection of specific lamblia antigen in faeces using ELISA kits. For statistics was used descriptive statistics analysis (mean values, the percentage error of the mean, the construction of the trend line) with program SPSS 20.00, Excel 2010, the method of analysis of official statistical reporting hospitals survey on giardiasis, data of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Sanitary service) for NAD and data from own research from 2002 to 2013. Just in the process of research carried out research on the 10 356 giardiasis, registered diseases by 3470 cases of giardiasis, accounting for 99.14% of the total number of protozoonosises registered and 37.4% of all registered in the NAD parasitosis. The comparison was made among the population of the county towns, home to both the indigenous people, nomadic, and representatives of other ethnic groups, sedentary with urban population of the city of Naryan-Mar. The article analyzes the incidence rates for giardiasis according to district official statistical reporting compared with the incidence in the Russian Federation for the same period of time. Statistical analysis was performed using the software package Excel 2010. The study found an association of giardiasis prevalence in the population of the NAD on criteria such as location, gender, occupation and age structure examined

    The paper addresses studies of the psychophysiological characteristics of gas-and-oil industry operators and of workmen employed at boiler and waste treatment facilities who work under shift regimens in the Far North represented with the territories of Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Seventy subjects aged 24 to 60 years (mean age 38,7±1,3) were interviewed and passed psychological tests. The results were treated statistically. Two groups were distinguished based on differences in dynamic response characteristics, personality traits, and self-regulation features.Статья посвящена изучению психологических особенностей операторов по добыче нефти и газа и операторов котельной и очистных сооружений при вахтовой организации труда в условиях Крайнего Севера. Для достижения поставленной цели проведено исследование на нефтегазодобывающем производстве с вахтовой организацией труда на территории Ненецкого автономного округа. В исследовании приняли участие 70 работников в возрасте от 24 до 60 лет (средний возраст 38,7±1,3 года). Методы исследования: анкетирование, психологическое тестирование, статистические методы анализа данных.     RESULTS OF IN VIVO MEASUREMENTS OF STRONTIUM-90 BODY-BURDEN IN URALS RESIDENTS: ANALYSES OF DATA OBTAINED IN 2006–2012

    A part of the Urals territory was contaminated with 90Sr and 137Cs in the 1950s as a result of accidents at the “Mayak” Production Association. The paper describes the analysis of in vivo 90Sr measurements in Urals residents. The measurements were performed with the use of Whole-Body Counter SICH-9.1M in 2006–2012. Totally 5840 measurements for 4876 persons were performed from 2006 to 2012; maximal measured value was 24 kBq. Earlier, similar measurements were performed with SICH-9.1 (1974–1997). Comparison of the results obtained with SICH-9.1 and SICH-9.1.M has shown a good agreement of the two data set
