Digital Rectification of the Kompsat 3A Satellite Image and Accuracy Assessment

Картографические материалы, особенно крупномасштабные карты и планы, являются важными данными для управления сельским хозяйством и устойчивого развития. Одним из основных методов сбора данных для крупномасштабного сельскохозяйственного картографирования является дистанционное зондирование. Спутниковые снимки, особенно с высоким пространственным разрешением, полученные с различных спутниковых систем, дают подробную, достоверную и точную информацию о сельскохозяйственных угодьях. Спутниковые снимки подвержены искажениям под воздействием различных факторов, многие из которых исправляются в процессе предварительной обработки. Однако изображения, прошедшие только предварительную обработку, не всегда могут соответствовать требованиям составления крупномасштабных карт и планов. Для этого необходимо провести геометрическую коррекцию или трансформирование космических снимков с использованием дополнительных данных, коэффициентов рациональных полиномов (RPC) и координат опорных точек. Данная статья посвящена вопросам трансформирования спутникового снимка высокого пространственного разрешения Kompsat 3A методом полиномов рациональных функций и оценки его точности.Cartographic materials, especially large-scale maps and plans, are important data for agricultural management and sustainable development. One of the main data collection methods for large-scale agricultural mapping is remote 112 sensing. Remote sensing images, especially with high spatial resolution, obtained from various satellite systems, provide detailed, reliable and accurate information about agricultural land. Satellite images are subject to distortion under the influence of various factors, many of which are corrected during preprocessing. However, images that have undergone only preliminary processing cannot always meet the requirements for compiling large-scale maps and plans. To do this, it is necessary to geometric correction or rectification satellite images using additional data, rational polynomial coefficients (RPC) and coordinates of ground control points. This article is devoted to the issues of rectification of satellite image with high spatial resolution Kompsat 3A by the method of polynomials of rational functions and estimation its accuracy

Experimental Study of the Effect of Composite Solvent and Asphaltenes Contents on Efficiency of Heavy Oil Recovery Processes at Injection of Light Hydrocarbons

The current state of research in the field of solvent injection techniques for increase of heavy oil production efficiency is discussed in the chapter. As a result of a series of experiments on the physical modeling of oil displacement processes in a porous medium in large-sized model, features of asphaltene precipitation and the formation of fixed residual oil upon injection of solvent based on light alkanes are revealed. The oil displacement by n-hexane was studied and the difference in the composition of residual oil in the zones of dispersion and diffusion has been shown. The influence of the composition of asphaltenes peculiarities on the dynamics of oil recovery and on the accumulated oil recovery during the injection of n-hexane, as well as the composition and quantity of asphaltenes precipitated in the porous medium, has been estimated. The effect of toluene and nonylphenol additives on the proportion of asphaltenes in the residual oil and cumulative oil recovery has been evaluated using the Ashalchinskoye field oil as an example of heavy oil in the physical modeling of injection of n-hexane as the base solvent

Tribology of particle suspensions in rolling-sliding soft contacts

We investigate the lubrication of microsphere suspensions between compliant substrates, and probe the influence of matrix viscosity, particle phase volume, surface roughness and wetting, and slide-to-roll ratio (SRR). In general, the suspensions behave as a continuum in the elastohydrodynamic regime provided the film thickness, which is predicted from the product of speed and viscosity, is greater than the particle diameter. Below this, the frictional response is characteristic of the mixed and boundary regimes. In the boundary regime, friction is independent of phase volume above 5% and it is governed by the rolling friction associated with particles being entrained into the contact that is independent of SRR, which is made possible by substrate deformation. This study provides a benchmark for soft-tribology and biotribology studies involving more complex particle suspensions and particle-containing soft materials

Electron Clusters in Inert Gases

The paper addresses counterintuitive behavior of electrons injected into dense cryogenic media with negative scattering length $a_0$. Instead of expected polaronic effect (formation of density enhancement clusters) which should substantially reduce the electron mobility, an opposite picture is observed: with increasing $|a_0|$ (the trend taking place for inert gases with the growth of atomic number) and the medium density, the electrons remain practically free. An explanation of this behaviour is provided based on consistent accounting for the non-linearity of electron interaction with the gaseous medium in the gas atom number density
