    Fast-growing sunspot groups AR1618, AR1619, AR1620, AR1640 and their features

The paper considers evolutionary features of fast-growing sunspot groups AR1618, AR1619, AR1620, and AR1640. The study consists of the analysis of magnetic fields, movements of the solar atmosphere at different levels, and other data. In order to obtain the largest possible volume of information about the groups, data from a number of sources, both terrestrial (Kanzelhoehe Solar Observatory, Crimean Astrophysical Observatory), and space (SOHO, SDO, etc.) were used. A comparison of the groups with typical sunspot groups was made

Digital version of the CrAO archive of spectral observations of the Sun, carried out with the KG-2 coronagraph

With the development of computer technology a topical problem to digitize the astronomical data stored on various media, for their preservation and accessibility for further faster and more accurate processing has arisen. Creation of a digital archive of observational data obtained with the KG-2 coronagraph and stored on photographic films has been started at the Department of the Solar Physics of the Scientific Research Institute "Crimean Astrophysical Observatory". We obtained satisfactory results in comparing a part of the spectrum digitized with EPSON Expression 10000XL scanner and with the MF-2 type scanning microphotometer which was used before. This allows the scanner to be used in the future to create the archive. We also developed a special software, which speeds up the processing of scanned data, and tried to minimize and eliminate potential errors

Catalogue-atlas of photographic observations along Comet Liller's path

    No full text
We present the on-line version of the catalogue-atlas of photographic observations along the path of comet Liller (1988a). The comet was observed in the N. D. Kalinenkov Astronomical Observatory (AOK) of the Nikolaev National University from April to June 1988. Digitizing of negatives with flatbed scanner and astrometric calibration of digitized images resulted in creation a VOTable version of the catalogue available through the interface of the interactive sky atlas ALADIN
