    This article proposes a comparative study of the French adjectives similaire and semblable which express a relationship of identity between two or more terms. I will show that beyond their partial synonymy, the two adjectives diverge on an essential point, namely on how they construct the relationship of identity. To this end, we will propose a semantic identity for each adjective in terms of Schematic Form (Forme schématique), defined as an operation reconstituting a complex relation between the abstract parameters involved. I will show that this Schematic Form can account for the various constructions and the distributional constraints associated with each unit

    Linear Relationship between Temperature and the Apparent Reaction Rate Constant of Hydroxyl Radical with 4-chlorobenzoic Acid

    4-Chlorobenzoic acid (p-CBA) is frequently used as a hydroxyl radical (HO·) probe substance in studies of ozonation and advanced oxidation processes. However, the temperature dependence of the reaction between HO· and p-CBA remains unclear. In this context, we identified the relationship between temperature ((Formula presented.), K) and the apparent second-order reaction rate constant of HO· with p- CBA (kHO⋅, p−CBA(T) , M⁻¹ s⁻¹): 10¹⁰. They were measured by a novel competitive method using 2-methylpropan-2-ol (tert-butyl alcohol) as a reference substance in the range of 1.0–40.0℃. The linear regression equation was more appropriate than the exponential regression equation to express this relationship. More generally, our simulation shows that the linear regression equation can be more accurate than the exponential regression equation to express the relationship between temperature and apparent reaction rate constants of HO

    Small angle X-ray scatterig (SAXS) was measured for neutron- and electron-irradiated Pd_Si_ amorphous alloy. The experimental SAXS intensity curves are well approximated by the Guinier formula below h=0.04 A ^. The radii of gyration are almost same between electron-irradiated and aged sample, while neutron-irradiated sample shows a small radius of gyration

    Compton profile measurements using 59.54 γ-ray source have been performed for Fe-Ti and Fe-Ti-H amorphous alloys. It is found that the electronic structure of Fe-Ti amorphous alloy is blurred by the vitrification , compared with the crystalline one , and that hydrogen atoms in Fe-Ti amorphous alloy prefer to donate valence electrons to the conduction band of the host lattice

    Cet article propose dans une optique contrastive une étude des constructions prépositionnelle et préfixale de l’unité entre(-) mettant en jeu le verbe pronominal se tuer : ils se tuent entre eux / ils s’entretuent, considérées comme équivalentes dans la littérature. L’hypothèse défendue est que, bien que l’identité sémantique de entre(-), définie comme marquant une opération de neutralisation de l’altérité première entre deux domaines, soit stable, cette opération ne fonctionne pas de la même façon selon le statut de entre, ce qui débouche sur deux caractérisations différentes du procès : « fermeture » du domaine auquel le procès s’applique pour ce qui concerne la préposition et continuation « sans fin » pour le préfixe. Cette hypothèse permet par ailleurs de rendre compte des différences de contraintes de distribution et d’interprétation observables entre les deux constructions en question.This article challenges previous accounts that the prepositional and prefixal constructions of the grammatical item entre(-) combined with the reflexive verb se tuer in ils se tuent entre eux and ils s'entretuent are equivalent. We will argue that although the semantic identity of entre(-) as a marker of an operation of neutralisation of the original alterity between two domains is maintained, this operation can be executed differently depending on the status of entre(-). Two different characterizations of the event can, as a result, be established: «the closing of the event» for entre as a preposition and « an event with no end » for entre- as a prefix. This proposal explains the different distributional constraints as well as the different interpretations of the constructions under investigation

    The water quality of L.Wuli and L.Mei1iang of L. Taihu in China, and the possibility of water cleaning by plants floating culture system were examined. The eutriphication of lake water are strongly affected by both domestic and industrial wastewater because of the about 90% of wastewater without any treatments. Eutrophication has increased in most of the Chinese lake by high anthropogenic input of nutrients with the rapid progress human activity after the 1980s. For almost elements of water of L.Wuli were more polluted compared with those of L.Meiliang. The relation of nitrogen concentration of water was NH(3-)N > NO(3-)N> N0(2-)N in L. Wuli, and NO(3-)N > NH(3-)N > NO(2-)N in L.Meiliang, respectively. From the results of water quality analysis, the nutrient concentrations were increased, but not polluted by some heavy metals and slightly increased by surfactants, anionic surface active agents. It seemed to be able to clean the lake water by plant floating culture methods with using many kinds of plants by the data of another experiments in phytotron and in natural field
