    On the crime scene, the forensic medicine was important to express a murder case with investigation procses that did on occurance's place. There are many exhibit that was found, one of the exhibit is blood stain. Blood stain has useful on investigation procses, firstly to estimate the time on occurance of murder. The purpose of this research was to know the change of blood stain's color on adult human that has subnormal hemoglobin with color's card standart NCS. This research was happened on may 2014 with deskriptive method and Cross Sectional approach on 31 patient mans and woman's adults with subnormal hemoglobin in RSUD Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru. Based on 31 sample was get the color's change from the blood stain with subnormal hemoglobin occurance on 1st until 6th clock, while on 7th until 48th there are was not occurance of the color's change from the blood stain

    HIV / AIDS is caused by infection with Human Immunodeficiency Virus. This virus infects a cell that has a molecular Cluster of Differentiation 4 (CD4). Counting the number of CD4 is a way to assess the immunity of patients with HIV / AIDS. The purpose of this research was to know describe of CD4 count in HIV / AIDS in Clinic VCT Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province during January to December 2013. This was a descriptive retrospective study. Data is used about 88 medical records of HIV / AIDS patients. Data obtained from this study is the highest frequency of HIV / AIDS was found at the age of 30-39 years (42.04%) and male gender (63.64%). Based on the type of job most are self-employed (52.27%). Based on the risk factors most infections come from clients (45.46%). Based on clinical stage, stage I (10.23%), stage II (34.09%), stage III (45.45%), and stage IV (10.23%). CD4 cell counts of HIV / AIDS patients <200 cells/mm3 (72.73%), CD4 cell count 200-499 cells/mm3 (25%), and CD4 cell count β‰₯ 500 cells/mm3 (2.27%)

    Dyslipidemia is one of an important stroke risk factor. This case would be strengthened if there are other risk factors for stroke. One form of dyslipidemia is high of LDL and HDL cholesterol ratio causes atherosclerosis. The purpose of this research was to know the profile of LDL and HDL cholesterol ratio in stroke patients in Neurology Department Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province during January – December 2012. This was a descriptive retrospective study. Data is used about 95 medical record of stroke patients. The LDL and HDL cholesterol levels of patients were classified based on the NCEP ATP III classification. Data obtained from this study is that stroke patients have optimal LDL cholesterol (9,47%), above optimal (15,79%), borderline high (26,31%), high (24,21%, very high (24,21%). Low HDL cholesterol (50,53%), moderate (44,21%), and high (5,27%). LDL and HDL cholesterol ratio of 3,5 (60%). The result of this study indicate that the majority of stroke patients had LDL and HDL cholesterol ratio of >3,5

    Tuberculosis (TB) is still a cause of high morbidity which can mainly due to the onset of side effects from the use of Anti-Tuberculosis Drugs (OAT). One of the most serious side effects are hepatotoxic. Early markers of hepatotoxicity is an increase of enzymes in serum transaminase consisting of glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (SGOT) which is secreted in parallel with glutamate pyruvate transaminase (SGPT). This study aims to determine differences in SGPT levels before and after intensive phase in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in the pulmonary polyclinic of Arifin Achmad general hospital Pekanbaru. This research uses descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used is total sampling technique. The study was conducted in February-May 2015 and obtained 32 samples which is a tuberculosis patient at the Pulmonary Polyclinic Arifin Achmad general hospital. Results from this study are characteristic of most patients by age is 18-54 years is 22 (68.8%) of people, sex is a male majority, with result 19 (59.4%) people. SGPT levels of pulmonary tuberculosis patients after intensive phase for 8 weeks found elevated levels of ALT in 1 (3.1%). Based on an analysis using paired sample t test found a significant difference between the levels of ALT before and after the 8-week intensive phase during which p = 0.001 <0.005

    Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an acute epidemic diseases which require a good clinical examination and complete, as well as laboratory investigations if clinical symptoms is inadequate. Delay in diagnosis result in increased risk of death. This research is to determine the characteristics of hematology in dengue fever patients in internist unit at Arifin Achmad Riau Province Hospital at period 1 January - 31 December 2013. This research is a retrospective descriptive study of total sampling. Based on the results of the study, found patients aged 15-19 years (34.8%) and the majority are male (67.4%). Hemoglobin levels on day 3, 4, 5 continued normal fever (39.2%), normal (45.6%), and normal (47.8%). Hematocrit levels on day 3, 4, 5 continued normal fever (54.3%), normal (43.5%), and low (50%). The number of leukocytes on day 3, 4, 5 continued fever leukopenia (52.2%), leukopenia (47.8%), and normal (43.5%). Platelet count on day 3, 4, 5 continued thrombocytopenia (97.9%), thrombocytopenia (95.6%), and thrombocytopenia (97.9%). Many patients who do not carry out checks antidengue IgG and IgM antidengue (50%) and secondary dengue patients (39.13%)

    Gambaran Hematokrit Pada Pasien Stroke Iskemik Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Arifin Ahmad Provinsi Riau

    Hematocrit is one of the risk factors of stroke. Elevated hematocrit will cause the increased of blood viscosity. This increased of blooad viscosity will lead to activation of the substance of blooad coagulation and the derivation of cerebral blood flow. This research was to know the profile of hematocrit in ischemic stroke patients in Neurology Department Arifin Ahmad General Hospital of Riau Province during January-December 2013. This was a descriptive retrospective study. Data is used about 89 medical record of ischemic stroke patients. Data obtained from this study that the most ischemic stroke patients were in the age group 50-59 years old (32,58%), with the highest gender was male, which as much 46 patients (51,69%), the number of elevated hematocrit in male were 7 patients (7,87%) and 15 patients in female (16,86%), the number of normal hematocrit in male were 37 patients (41,57%) and in female 24 patients (26,97%), the number of lowered hematocrit in male were 2 patients (2,24%) and 4 patients (4,49%) in female. The result of this study showed that most of the ischemic stroke patients in General Hospital of Riau Province have normal hematocrit
