An analysis of results of measuring the speed passing through a material in a technological process

The process approach requires a smoothness and continuity for each individual technological /production process. From the viewpoint of ownership of each process a required input into the process technical and operation parameters for a required output of the process is important. From the viewpoint of monitoring a concrete process, the material entering the process having a temperature required by technological instruction is important.The speed of transition of a material through the technological mechanism should be constant and a product from the process should have required internal and external parameters. The speed is critical for the technological process. When using a measurement, values of speed are obtained, can be analysed from the point of view of variation in time and normality. For a comparison of real and required values, the box plot was prepared. The capability indexes were counted and the „overlaps” of tolerance interval for the required value of speed were compared

Application of the process approach in designing study plans

The article is concerned with an application of the process approach in designing study planes. This application is same for all areas. A difference between university and industrial organisations is also taken into consideration. The target of universities is to offer an education, which is realized effectively, verifiably, (measurably and valuable), to function effectively organization, has to identity and manage activities. The application of a system of processes within an organization, together with the identification and interactions of these processes, can be referred to as the “process approach”

Evaluation of mechanical properties of steel wire ropes by statistical methods

The contribution deals with the evaluation of mechanical properties of steel wire ropes using statistical methods from the viewpoint of the quality of single wires as well as the internal construction of the wire ropes. The evaluation is based on the loading capacity calculated from the strength, number of folds and torsions. For the better ilustration, a box plot has been constructed

The variability of quality parameters and loss function

The object of this paper is assign the advantage of conjoint exploit the methods for the analysis and the valuation of the quantitative indicators quality of the different products. From statistical point of view maintenace or transgress of the permissible tolerance interval of these indikators means their different variability. The high variability of the quality parameters is quadraticaly connected with the costs of the nonconformance/nonquality. The complementary approach to the same problem have always higher cancellation value than the application of only the statistical or only the economical valuation form

Measurement system as a subsystem of the quality management system

Each measurement system and a control principle must be based on certain facts about the system behaviour (what), operation (how) and structure (why). Each system is distributed into subsystems that provide an input for the next subsystem. For each system, start is important the begin, that means system characteristics, collecting of data, its hierarchy and the processes distribution.A measurement system (based on the chapter 8 of the standard ISO 9001:2000 Quality management system, requirements) defines the measurement, analysis and improvement for each organization in order to present the products conformity, the quality management system conformity guarantee and for the continuously permanent improvement of effectivity, efficiency and economy of quality management system

A PROTECTION OF AIR FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF LOCAL PRODUCER OF POLLUTING SUBSTANCES/EMISSIONS

Abstract: The long-range programme of the air protection in mining plant SIDERIT, Nižná Slaná appoints the reduction of the emissions SO2, NOx and solid particulate matter. This approach is in co-ordination with lawful also international commitments of Slovak republic. A reduction the quantity of the emissions is providing with the optimizing and increasing of the efficiency combustion processes, installation of the electrostatic separators for the absorbing polluting substances and introduction of the progressive clean technologies. The technical measures related with the improvement / minimalization of the air polluting and emissions are the most effective means of the prevention not only local air situation. Key words: raw material, emissions, solid particulate matter, resources of the pollution.
