    A Study on Flouting Maxims in Divergent Novel

    This research focuses on flouting maxim in Divergent novel which aim is to find the types and the function of flouting maxim. The researchers used descriptive qualitative research because the researchers strived to analyze and discusses the sentences of utterances which performs flouting maxim in Divergent novel. This research uses pragmatic approach which uses Grice's theory of maxim. The result of this study shows that 21 data which are appropriated with the characteristic of flouting maxim. They consist of 12 flouting maxim of quantity, 2 flouting maxim of quality and 7 flouting maxim of relevance. Based on the data analysis the researchers concluded: the functions for flouting maxim of quantity are to explain more about topic, to stress something and unwillingness to cooperate; the functions for flouting maxim of quality are to show panic, to convince the addressee and to hide something; the functions for flouting maxim of relevance are to change the topic of conversation and to avoid talking about something

    Studio Songket Sumatra Loom able to revitalize songket songket-old, and capable of producing quality songket, also has its own characteristic songket, both in terms of yarn, color, pattern and shape of the resulting product. The purpose of this research is to describe the history of songket, yarn types, colors, patterns, and shapes of products in Studio Songket Sumatra Loom. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Collecting data using primary and secondary sources. The data analysis is done by using interactive analysis relating to the subject matter that is the data reduction, data display, and conclusion end. Results of the research: History Loom Studio Songket Sumatra, Sumatra leader Loom is Bernhard Bart. Bernhard was interested in the motives and complexity songket making techniques and finally Bernhard decided to open Studio Songket in 2005 which was formerly Erika Rianti, in 2013 the name changed to the name Loom Studio Songket Sumatra. Type of yarn used is silk threads and yarns macau (gold and silver) .warna used yellow gold, silver, red, black, pink, blue, purple, brown, green, orange, and gray. Has 22 motifs that resemble plants, animals, geometric shapes and custom words. The shape of the resulting product is complete the form salendang custom clothing, gloves, belts, sisamping, deta, dalamak and souvenirs in the form of wall hangings

    Analisis Pengaruh Pendidikan, Sosial, dan Pengetahuan terhadap Minat Masyarakat Menabung di Bank Syariah (Studi Kasus di Desa Jatikuwung Gondangrejo Karanganyar)

    This study was conducted to examine whether there is a significant influence on education, social factors and knowledge on people's interest in saving at Islamic banks in Banyubiru, Jatikuwung Village, Gondangrejo Karanganyar. This study aims to determine and analyze education, social factors and knowledge of interest in saving in Islamic banks. The research method used in this study is quantitative with primary data sources originating from the distribution of questionnaires in the Banyubiru Jatikuwung Gondangrejo Karanganyar hamlet community. The sampling technique is by using the slove in formula. Data analysis methods in the form of Validity Test, Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Test, F Test, t Test and Determination Test. The results of this study using the t test (partial test) showed that the knowledge variable had no significant effect on the interest in saving in Islamic banks while the education variable and social factors had a significant effect on the interest in saving in Islamic banks. The results of the F-test (simultaneous test) show that the variables of education, social factors, and knowledge have a significant influence on interest in saving in Islamic banks bank. Judging from the Adjusted R-square value of the education variable, social and knowledge factors affect the interest in saving in Islamic banks by 57%.
