Analisis rasio keuangan sebagai alat penilaian untuk mengukur kinerja keuangan pada PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. periode 2002-2007: Studi pada Pojok Bursa Efek Indonesia UMM

ABSTRAK Untuk mengetahui tingkat kesehatan suatu perusahaan selayaknya apabila suatu perusahaan dilakukan pengukuran ataupun penilaian kinerja perusahaan tersebut. Kinerja adalah prestasi yang dicapai oleh perusahaan dalam suatu periode tertentu yang mencerminkan tingkat kesehatan perusahaan. Tujuannya adalah menemukan kelemahan di dalam kinerja perusahaan yang dapat menyebabkan masalah pada perusahaan tersebut. Demikian juga dengan PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk yang merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang tentunya selalu ingin mengetahui tingkat kesehatan usahanya dari tahun ke tahun, yaitu dengan cara menilai kinerja manajemen perusahaannya. PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. tentunya membutuhkan pengelolaan manajemen yang baik tentang permodalan, persediaan barang dan laba yang akan diperoleh. Sehingga perusahaan dapat terhindar dari adanya kekurangan aktiva lancar yang akan digunakan untuk melunasi hutang lancar. Serta perusahaan mampu menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya dengan lebih efisien sehingga tujuan yang telah ditetapkan dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan perhitungan terhadap data-data kuantitatif yang berupa laporan keuangan. Laporan keuangan tersebut merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Pojok Bursa Efek Indonesia UMM. Sedangkan alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis rasio keuangan yang meliputi rasio likuiditas, rasio profitabilitas, rasio solvabilitas, dan rasio aktivitas dengan metode Time Series Analysis. Secara umum dari hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kondisi keuangan PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk berfluktuasi. Hal ini berarti bahwa perusahaan memiliki tingkat kinerja keuangan yang kurang baik, sehingga perusahaan masih perlu untuk memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Saran yang dapat diberikan, adalah hendaknya perusahaan dapat melakukan penghematan di dalam menggunakan aktiva lancarnya untuk membiayai kegiatan operasionalnya. ABSTRACT To know the level of health of a company, it is proper if a company has a measurement or evaluation of work. Work is an achievement which is gained by the company in certain period which reflects the level of company health. The aim of the company is to find the weaknesses in the work of company which are able to cause a problem in that company. PT. Unilever Indonesia is one of companies which tends to know the level of health of the company of the years by evaluating the work of the work’s company management. PT. Unilever Indonesia needs good management in serving the goods and it provides the benefits. Therefore, the company is able to avoid the lack of liquid active which is used to fulfill the debt. As well, the company is able to run the operational working of the company efficiently. This research is including into qualitative research which is used descriptive approach by accounting the quantitative data and financial ratio. The financial ratio is as the secondary data which is gotten from Stock Exchange Corner Indonesia UMM, while an analysis instrument which is used is financial ratio analysis including liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, solvability ratio and activity ratio by Time Series Analysis method. The result of the research shows that the condition of financial company is fluctuated. It means that the company has awful financial work level, therefore, the company still needs to repair and increase the work of company.
